Highly recommend for alteration services! They got me in for a last minute alteration of my daughter's softball uniform. Could not be more pleased! The alteration only took a total of two hours and the finished product was amazing! Could not even tell the pants were altered and even better I was able to pick them back up the same day! THE BEST alteration services in town! I took my dress in last minute to get it altered for a wedding. I walked in without having any hops at all since I was going to need the dress literally the next morning to wear it and I walked in 30 minutes before they were closing. The gentleman who helped me was extremely attentive. They took my measurements right away and said the dress will be ready to pick up early morning. I was beyond happy since I always have the worst time finding a dress and better yet getting it altered on time. My dress looked exactly how I wanted. I went here to dry clean a wool coat that smelled horrible and alter a dress to put slits in the sleeves. The dress altering was roughly $40 - 45 and the dry cleaning was $8 ish? The coat no longer smelled, and the dress came out the way I wanted it. I would recommend this place for their quality service. Very rude lady and did not make me feel confident at all about what she was doing. She was debating w/ me when all I said as long as it's fits I'm okay with it but then she started being very aggressive and speaking in another language in front of me to someone else so now I feel excluded. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and service at AF Golden Cleaners. I brought a bridesmaid dress (made of what feels like cheap gauze - super delicate fabric) in to be hemmed (and of course, I brought it in two weeks out from the wedding because I never do anything in a timely fashion) and Janet worked magic. She hemmed it perfectly. I can wear both flats and short heels with it (it's a floor length dress) and it's totally even all around. What life savers!!!! This place came highly recommended by a few of my cousins. They know I'm such a snob I always drive to Beverly Hills for my alterations, but told me to still come and try this place. With my sisters engagement party on Saturday I dropped off a very complicated evening dress that had to be done within one day. And I done I don't mean shorten it a little bit they had to cover the back close up some cleavage shorts and the address and take in the waist. All this would have cost at Least $150 anywhere else, and they did it for half of that! So professional and she really knew her craft. My mom used to be a seamstress and usually whispers about how people "know what they're talking about" they even she noticed that these people really know what they're doing. I picked up my dress the next day and if it me like a glove. The peace of mind I got knowing that my dress is so comfortable and well fitted was priceless. I discovered this place on Yelp and didn't realize it was located so close to my house. That was maybe 3 or 4 months ago and I've already been here 6-8 times for tailoring and alterations. I've even brought my best friend here to get his suit tailored for his wedding! Art is a very nice guy who is very helpful and won't make you spend more money than you really need to. WOW! I'm not really big on writing reviews, but I just had to write one for AF. I had gone to two different cleaners before coming here, and (clearly) I am so glad I did! I bought a dress online because it was on sale and did not want to pay too much to get it altered. He took his time talking to me, made some suggestions, and I left there feeling confident and happy (since they charged $10-15 less than the other places). That was last week. I took my wedding dress here for minor alterations. Janet is a GREAT seamstress/stitcher. She was friendly and helpful and worked very fast. Can't beat the prices either. But FYI - if your dress needs cups inserted, you need to bring your own on the day you have your first fitting. I had to run out and buy some that day because that wasn't communicated when I made my appointment and I didn't think to ask. I came her to have a dress with a layer of chiffon hemmed. They did an excellent job! Very difficult because it was flowing and uneven. They also replaced a broken zipper and hemmed some wide-legged pants. Everything was pressed and neat and ready on time! The people are lovely and provide excellent service. I'm one of the groomsmen in a wedding. We are all wearing matching traditional Indian clothing. I just got mine a few hours before the event. I have T-Rex arms, and need my sleeves hemmed for most shirts. I tried it on and as expected, sleeves were long. I frantically searched for tailors near my hotel on Google Maps and found this place. I called them and asked if they could do it immediately, and they said yes! I drove out there, and I was in-and-out in no time. I can't speak for them nor guarantee that they can always do this speedy service for everyone, but they really did me a solid and took care of me in this last-minute situation.
