Their technician actually broke my washer today! This was his third time to my house. Last Thursday he ordered the wrong part and told his boss the part was bad and needed a new one order. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! Avoid this company at all costs! They have an idiotic technician who after doing a few minutes of work, gleefully informed me I didn't have a warranty on my washer. I renew the warranties on all of my appliances annually. Therefore, I knew he was lying. Then he informed me that my insurance company was Assurant, as if I didn't know that already! Every email I receive is from dum dum dummmm, Assurant! He was lazy and didn't want to fix the issue. I had to contact Assurant, get my claim number and reschedule for today. Guess what? They did a no call, no show! And like the cowards they are, they ignored calls from Lowe's. I filed several complaints against them. I hope they lose their contract with Lowe's. They are lazy, classless, unprofessional, and uncouth. They shouldn't be in business. Don't use them. Save yourself the headache and go with their competitors. read more

Great company! I had them scheduled through Lowes to fix my fridge ice maker. Lisa, the owner, ended up calling me and letting me know that this type of fridge had a class action lawsuit and told me to call Samsung and have them pay for the issue. Following her instructions, I was able to get the fridge fixed and Samsung paid parts + labor. Very knowledgable and easy to work with, thank you Lisa! read more

Had an issue with our dryer. Doug was the consummate pro - friendly and clearly incredibly knowledgeable. He finished the job in literally under 10 minutes, replaced the failed belt tensioner with a better engineered tensioner unlikely to fail in the future, and even mentioned what we should do were the dryer to ever become less quick at drying laundry (inspect the ducting leading to the outside as it might restrict airflow over time due to its routing). My Whirlpool fridge needed servicing. Food in my refrigerator was freezing. I had a service plan and scheduled the appointment through Lowes. APR contacted me soon after to schedule a time to come out. The technician said it would require a part that was back-ordered. About 2 weeks later I was notified that the part was available and that a technician could come the next day! Another problem developed (ice collecting at freezer botttom) and I was afraid that I would have to call Lowes again to schedule an additional appointment for that matter. The lady at APR said that I wouldn't have to do that and simply to let the technician know about the new problem. He worked fast and was very professional the entire time as was the first technician (who identified problem)! I highly recommend them for your appliance servicing needs!! read more

No need trying to reach these folks for an actual "repair". They'll come out faster than lightning to collect $95 for a 'diagnosis', but when it comes time for them to actually return and FIX the problem, they are a no show. I called 5 times, I even emailed them--NO RESPONSE! Honestly, they might be out of business. If they are, it's probably for the best. I'm just glad I didn't pay for the materials UP FRONT. Contacted Samsung with an issue with our Washer. Affordable Appliance Repair was who they selected for us. They came and told us the clutch assembly needed to be replaced. Have not heard back from them. I called three days straight. Today I called Samsung with my ticket number. They were able to contact these folks and they told Samsung they were unable to get the part. Interesting, I just found it on samsungparts.com. They never notified us nor will they return a call. Not good for business. Samsung will be contacting another service center and the process starts again. :( Beware! read more

Stay away from this company. Save yourself time, money and a headache and look elsewhere. I wish I could give them no stars. They told us a part needed to be ordered for our appliance and that it would take about a week. After not hearing from them in a week, we went ahead and tried to contact them, left FOUR messages with the office, one a day, and never heard back. We also attempted to contact the person that came out to our house and the number had been disconnected. Shady and unprofessional. read more
