My mailbox key broke off in the lock the other day. I called and Richard was able to come pretty quick, and replaced the lock and gave me two keys for it. The cost was $75. Once again, Shaun came to the rescue! My mom locked her house key in her room and so we had to call AA affordable locksmith & son. Took about 45 minutes for them to arrive but the actual process was pretty quick (5-8 minutes) Luckily, we got the door open and we don't need to replace the whole door knob! $89.01 for everything including tax. On the eve of tropical storm Iselle, I stupidly locked my keys in my car before heading into work. After panicking and googling all I could to find a way to get into my car, I decided to call this company after reading the good reviews on this site. The lady I talked to was friendly and told me she'd call me back in 15 minutes. 15 minutes passed: no call. 30 minutes: no call. Miraculously, a firetruck showed up at my workplace (I work at a grocery store) due to someone getting injured. I told them about my situation and they successfully unlocked my car in a matter of minutes, if not less. I never got a call back from this company. Very, very disappointed. read more

My friend was visiting from Japan and lost a key for his rental car during surfing. No phone, no wallet, just wet in bikinis... nightmare.... We borrowed a cell phone from police man. One locksmith, Pop a Lock, said they can't send anyone till we give them our credit card information although I explained our situation ..... Duh, our wallet was in a car.... But a gentleman from this locksmith was so nice, calming me down and said he would come in 15 minutes. He found us and opened the car immediately and ending up making the key for the rental car that had no spare key at the main office and it would have be towed for $200 and cost to make a spare key for $200. Because they were so quick and awesome, I had to request for my Yelp password to give a review for them. Service for 2013 Hyundai Sonata. It's a Sunday. Very limited service. They were the 2nd company I called. The first guy went straight to the point and stated "that car is too high security, only the dealership can do it." Without hesitation, I thought I try another company and if they told me the same thing, we would have waited until Monday to do anything further. Once I called him, he told me give him 45 minutes since he is on his way back to his office and that he would check his inventory. Nothing about too high tech or security. He gave me ease once he did not say that. Unfortunately, he did not have it in stock but was willing to go through shipping and handling with me. Since our ID's and C/C was in that car, we had no choice but to just open the vehicle and just use one for now. I had to compromise with my other half to allow them to open the vehicle just so we can drive with our license. Called them the next morning and they were on their way within 45 minutes. We used AA Affordable Locksmith because of the good reviews and we weren't disappointed. Brandon was our installer: He called a couple of hours before our appointment time to tell us he was delayed on another job. He arrived at the new appointed time and did a through job at replacing our existing lock and deadbolt. Brandon programmed the codes and explained how the electronics worked, then cleaned up everything. The price was exactly as quoted. Brandon was personable, professional and efficient. AWESOME! I called them after calling The Key Guy Locksmith, who tried to charge me nearly $200 and proposed a process that would damage my door (for my full review of these scam artists, see: http://tinyurl.com/nrkfvb3). AA said it would be $75 and that it would take 30-45 minutes to get to my house. I must admit, I was a bit impatient as I had already wasted nearly an hour with They Key Guy Locksmiths. Fortunately for me, AA was to my house within 25 minutes, got me in in about 2 minutes, and were gone in less than 45 minutes from when I had called. These guys are friendly, open and transparent, have actual tools (the other "locksmith" did not have the proper tools). Unbeknownst to me, I had actually used AA a few months ago. Once we realized that, he gave me $5 off (frequent customer discount...hahaha!) Hope to never have to use them again, but if I do lock my self out this will be the only company that I call.
