    Bacon Swiss Burger
    Ashley J.

The food was honestly not that good. The burger tasted like a frozen patty that was thrown in the oven real quick, and the chicken wings were extremely large, like the cheap oversized ones. For twenty dollars, the quality just didn't match the price.

Now...keep this review in perspective of an airport restaurant. The place did good all the way around. Food was decent. Overall, the items we had this day were good. The service and speed the food came out was good. I'd go back here any day of the week I'm in the Seattle airport.

This was actually ok for an airport restaurant, it is very pricey for what it is, but that's always expected at the airport. The waitress was very nice and friendly. We ordered a variety of different dishes and everything was ok, not fast food or sandwiches like most other places at the airport. I would recommend trying it, if you are ok with the prices.

    "Salmon" plate

My server was nice but nothing super spectacular. This is inside of the Seattle Airport, btw. Dropped in during my layover. I'm in Seattle, so I ordered salmon bc duh. When he sat my plate down, I was in utter disbelief. I questioned if they'd gotten my order wrong bc this was clearly a piece of chicken. But nope, tasted like mediocre salmon. I also had a side of jollof, which I knew better, but still gave it a shot. It had wayyy too much ginger and didn't taste close to any jollof I've ever had. The plantains were not fried well. The best part of my meal was the Pepsi. Needless to say, I won't return and I def don't recommend the salmon. Maybe other dishes are ok, but I saw a lady's chicken tenders and they looked like frozen food.

Stopped by the Africa Lounge mainly to grab a quick snack and watch some football on a Sunday afternoon. The lounge was quiet, which was nice, but that's largely because it's tucked away in a less busy part of the airport. Service was neutral. There was nothing wrong with it, but nothing particularly welcoming or memorable either. The food selection was very basic and didn't feel justified given the cost of access. Overall, the experience felt more functional than enjoyable. Seating was comfortable enough, and the TVs made it easy to follow the game without distractions. It works if you need a calm place to sit, but it's not somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit again. Efficient: Yes First-Time Friendly: Yes Would I Return: No JY review

    Nice Bloody Mary cocktail

Service was pleasant but possibly slow but keep in mind that I belatedly realized my flight was boarding in 30 minutes. My drink came quickly but I may have made a mistake in remarking I need another few minutes to make a food choice. That's when I saw my boarding time on my ticket and thought, oh, no. Could I place a grill order and get it to go? I had to flag down a waiter to pay for my drink. I left, a little sad that I didn't try their African food. Yet again, as noted by another reviewer, there were like two items. The rest were very American. I had briefly been hoping (before I rushed out) Iʻd see something like Shaksuka or Chicken mamba or somwthing with piri piri pepper sauce. Lots of potential for this concept. Hope they grow and maybe be a little more brave in their next menu rollout. I donʻt go to ʻAfricaʻ to have clam chowder or a burger. Beautiful atmosphere.

    Spicy beef sambusas

Wish Is checked on Yelp before choosing to try this place for lunch. The service was slow so if you make the decision to find here make sure you have ample time or order and pay simultaneously. The show service wasn't the only issue, the food came out lukewarm at best and the beer I ordered was only slightly cold. I ordered the spicy beef sambusas (the only thing on the menu that could be attributed to African roots) $22.39 for two which are small, seasoned rice and three plantains. I will say the flavor of the sambusas was very good, spicy it was not. The seasoned rice was meh. A Mac & Jack's Porter 12oz can $10. Def cannot recommend this place. I should have left after the wait just to order.

Best wings ever!! The ambience is nice and the service is excellent. Their prime rib sandwich is great also but the wing sauce is the best I have ever tasted! A patron sitting next to me said he gives up going to the airport lounge just to come have these wings.

    Cheeseburger with fries

As far as airport food goes, it's always going to overpriced the cheeseburger is expensive but is decent nonetheless. I'd like to stress that my fathers burger was initially a bit undercooked and they happily made a new one for him. The ambience is a bit busy and difficult to hear, but it's nice place to sit before waiting for a flight. Cheers!

Stopped here for a bite before boarding a flight. The waiter was friendly. The food was average ( it is inside of an airport). The "jollof rice" and salmon were bland. The cocktail was ok.

The brisket sandwich was tops, the fries were good, the loaded potatoes are a fun option (the bacon was a little hard to eat - not crunchy, not soft). The main upset was the French Onion Soup, which was, let's just say, not their specialty area. It was overwhelmingly salty, with meager bread to soak up the broth. The server was kind enough to take it off our bill - it was, at least for me, inedible. My spouse thought the same. This was a glitch in an otherwise fine evening.
