The plate was small so it was a bit messy as the gyro plate also had the fries loaded on it. The white sauce which is usually the key ingredient wasn't that great. My wife and I came for dinner and right away, we were greeted and seated making us feel welcomed, which already sets a great atmosphere. The dining space is well kept and very open. We opted for the bar seating and it was a good thing we did, the portions are bountiful. The meat was literally falling of the bone and so tender with just the right amount of savory to keep that dreaded taste-exhaustion feeling at bay. For me, I had the lamb tender as I was feeling grilled/roasted meat. This hit the mark with a very generous skewer of lamb cubes seasoned just right and freshly hot of the heat. We also had the spread sampler and a gyro plate and wow! As appetizers, they are another meal on their own as the portions were very generous. Agape Grill is a very tasty restaurant for the price! The restaurant has a large parking lot and a large indoor dinning area. A patio outside is large, but full since it's nice outside. I recommend to beat the lunch rush before noon during the week to get a parking spot and outdoor seating. I ordered the chicken cube, which was delicious! The chicken skewer was moist and seasoned just right. The plate was healthy with nice steamed vegetables, rice and fresh Greek salad! The price is reasonable and good portion size. Pretty good Mediterranean food in an interesting space. The building is in the midst of a bunch of businesses and kind of looks like an office building itself. It is huuuge since it is a banquet hall so felt a bit odd when we were there for dinner and there was 3 tables being used out of, I dunno, what seemed like a sea of tables. The menu is also fairly large. I was excited to see fish on the menu, but didn't like the Swordfish dish I ordered. I've also never had swordfish so perhaps it's not as tender of a fish, but the fish was chewier than I prefer. I thought the side vegetables were kind of bland. I don't always get Greek food but when I do - it's with Agape Grill! I usually get the chicken or beef skewers which has always been cooked perfectly and seasoned well. There's rice and vegetables which consist of zucchinis + green beans + peas, a surprisingly pleasant mixture! I don't know what they do with then but it's super easy to eat. Every time we pass this place on our way to Planet Granite, the outside seating is packed! Since it is walking distance from the gym, we decided to give it a try after a day of climbing. Clearly based on the pictures I posted, the mid afternoon is down time for Agape. Firstly, you get complimentary pita bread and a ramekin of hummus. It all tastes fresh and delicious! Secondly, you're given a pitcher of water with a slice of citrus that gives it an extra refreshing feel. We got the gyro pita and falafel pita. Both were decent. Lately, at least one of us has been having an extra tasty meal while the other's is just fair. This time, both were just pretty good. Amazing restaurant and amazing food and crew. I had my kids graduation party at this restaurant in 2014 and 10 years later we hosted my husband's 60th birthday. I've had fresh pita bread where it's soft and fluffy but this was a bit more dense. Nonetheless the overall pita was pretty good. The portion of salmon was on the smaller side but it was perfectly cooked, and was juicy and flavorful. I could have done without the sauce on top of it though. They also start you off with pita bread (on the crunchy side) with hummus and an amazing olive mayo dip to start on the house. The olive mayo dip is to die for! Everything on the menu is reasonably priced, wraps are about $9 and my gyro entree was $11. They also left us a water pitcher, but my glass must have not been cleaned well as it tasted like soap. Yuck, but ordered a diet coke which I was trying to resist. I received a huge plate of greek salad, which was tasty, lots of olives, tomatoes, and feta cheese. Next came our entrees. Everyone ordered a wrap besides me, and I heard the falafel was a bit dry, chicken was good, and my gyro was great! Nothing out of the park, but the pita bread was fluffy and their fries....WOW. This place would've easily got a 3.5+ stars if it weren't for our Beef / Lamb Tenders coming out so charred. The complimentary pita and hummus was delicious, but our main entree was a disappointment. What could've been great, ended up otherwise. The salad was a tad bit too oily for my liking, but that wasn't my biggest gripe. The tenders were difficult to eat because of all the burnt edges. I don't know if it's cause we came towards closing or what, but being that there was practically no one else in the restaurant, I think you could've done a much better job grilling our meats and ensuring that our meat wasn't so burnt. Food aside, it's tucked away in a random plaza behind all these business buildings and is less than half a mile away from Planet Granite. At a glance, the restaurant looks tiny cause all you can see is the front counter when you walk in and a side of the place. However, when you actually walk in, you'll realize that it is actually pretty deep in. 4-4.5* This was our go-to regular takeout when we used to live 5 minutes from here. We have since moved and I miss my Agape, so whenever we are in the area I still get my Greek fix. I am addicted to the Agape sauce, which is like a kalamata olive aioli of some kind that I have never had anywhere else. I love it with their fries, which are seasoned well but usually a little on the pale/soft side, so when I bring them home I crisp them up in a pan over the stove. I love their gyro and any of the kebabs, sometimes we go for their soups or specials too. After so many years eating here I definitely should have reviewed sooner, so here we are. Agape is a hidden gem and I hope they continue to have many more years of business ahead of them. read more
