The menu was very easy to navigate and that made it quite uncomplicated to place an order, even though it was my first time there. I chose to create my own pasta dish. I loved having a huge selection of vegetables to choose from! With no additional charge for so many add-ins...I went crazy! I opted for the gluten-free chickpea pasta and Agliolio sauce. I'm not a huge fan of biting into whole pieces of garlic, and yet, this sauce was delicious! The garlic was nicely roasted adding to the clean flavor of the olive oil sauce. They brought bread and olive oil mix to the table as you wait for your food! I'm a sucker for fresh bread. They have a build your own pasta (all fresh noodles) or they have some premade ideas for you. The Marsala sauce is slightly sweeter and not a cream based one, but it was good. My eggplant parmagiana was awful. Sauce was tasteless and plain. One pasta needed more sauce so our waiter brought out more garlic and oil. Garlic bread was oily but had no taste of garlic. I've been coming to AGLIOLIO's for a few months. I always enjoy the food, especially the Chicken Franchese. Their Ceasar Salad is delicious and their complimentary bread is a nice touch. My favorite server is HANAH. She's very helpful with the menu choices and makes you feel right at home. Definitely go there during these summer months when the wait is minimal. During the season it's really busy and the wait time can be long without a reservation. And don't forget to ask for HANAH. read more

The place has an interesting mix-and-match concept: you pick a meat and your choice of pasta, as well as your sauce. Let's start by saying everyone's Mom makes the best Italian food. That being said I am one of those people. I have been in Florida for over 20 years and have a hard time eating Italian out. Agliolio's was recommended to me by a friend last month and my family and I have been there over 4 times already. By far the closest to home we have had. Prices are fair, food is amazing, and customer service is above par. The manager Connor introduced himself and made us feel at home every visit. Having our second try at this local Italian restaurant. Service was prompt. Our dinner included a house salad and garlic bread as well a side pasta. The salad was bland and at best just ok. The garlic bread while tasty was served cut up in small pieces on an open plate. Looked a little odd but like I said it was tasty. I got the chicken parmesan....sauce was a little sweet and no other taste to speak of. Sadly my linquini with olive oil and garlic was over cooked and dry. My wife got the eggplant rolatini. The eggplant was good but the filling lacked flavor. Her pasta of angel hair with lemon was her favorite part. Maybe we will try again in another two years. The four stars for this restaurant are because the food here was quite good and we had an enjoyable time with our dining companions. We'd been to this restaurant in Wellington and decided to try their Boynton branch. The menu is the same at both locations. They don't take reservations, but we knew they had call ahead seating and when we arrived, it wasn't too long afterwards that we were seated. Inside the restaurant is a bit stark in ambiance -- plain tables (whereas Wellington is cozy, intimate, with booths, and more upscale). Like I said, the food was good, but the service was a little off. We had to ask multiple times for a side of ice, grated cheese, red pepper flakes, etc. We asked at the time of our ordering. Then had to flag someone (or more than one person) walking by to fulfill our requests. Only our perseverance worked. And even though we'd asked our original server for separate checks right at the get go, a different person handed us first one bill total; then when corrected came back with a split bill instead of two separate checks for what we'd ordered. By the way, the manager did stop by to check on us during our meal and make sure everything was okay. By the time she came over, we'd eventually gotten everything we needed. The other odd thing, was that they would ask us repeatedly if we needed something that we did NOT need or want -- for example, another glass of wine. I think 3 different people asked each person several times. And my iced tea was refilled twice without my asking or wanting it to be refilled. Finally, the food. All entrees include a house salad served family style. It's a very good salad. One of our party wanted soup instead and they substituted it for a nominal up charge. For my entree, I had the chicken Francese. It was one medallion with a lemon caper sauce. My pasta choice (you can mix and match) was angel hair with the same sauce as on my chicken but with added sun dried tomatoes. My husband got their pappardelle pasta with Sunday gravy -- a red sauce with meatballs and sausage in it. Our companions got grilled eggplant parmigiana and pasta with bruschetta and artichoke hearts and a shaped pasta with Sunday gravy and added red peppers. I think everyone liked their meals. I did. Since we'd eaten at their Wellington branch only last month, I guess I should point out that servings there were much larger than here. We were too full for dessert and our table was in demand, so we didn't linger. read more
