Came here on a Sunday for some pasta, and I can't complain. I love the concept of making your own pasta dish with things that you love. The hostess was very nice and sat us three quickly in a very comfy big booth. Our drinks were white sangria that was so good and refreshing. The Italian bread to start was good. Our waitress, Katie, was extremely sweet and very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us pick out our entrees. We had spaghetti, Sunday gravy with meatballs & Italian sausage, spaghetti Alfredo with a side of meatballs, linguine with veal Parmesan all absolutely delicious. We came in late in the evening, about an hour until the kitchen closed so I understand the workers were tired but the service was subpar overall. No refills were given, a box took about 20 minutes, and we were offered and accepted Parmesan which was then forgotten. The food was better the next day, spicy vodka sauce was good. The crab had a lot of shells in it and the stuffed mushroom was soggy but the flavors with good. Overall, it's not the best Italian meal I have had but for the bill to be $80 with two entrees and an appetizer I was not unhappy. I would go again but it wouldn't be my choice to. read more

I definitely support this woman-owned local business, and I will definitely return. Agliolio has a lot of 'hidden' perks such as incredible value with regard to pricing and the super high quality nature of their ingredients (I know this from looking at their website, but its just standard practice and not an advertising point). I walked in here purposefully after I learned the story behind this business. I had read about them many times on their website; there is a lot of thoughtfulness know this is a family-owned, women-owned and well-beloved-by-the-community. I was given a lunch menu. While it was very affordable and very easy to understand, I was a little bummed not see the dinner menu at all. As in, I don't know what they serve for dinner, an perhaps this is a missed opportunity for first timers to learn more about the business in general and all of the offerings. That being said, I was impressed with getting a side with the lunch portion. I was excited to see more than the just standard Italian soups here, and I ordered the lemon chicken soup, which was insanely good. I would return just for another bowl of this alone. We were given bread with olive oil but no explanation of what this was or how to eat it - I know how to eat it, but was surprised the waitress didn't say a word about this complimentary item at all. I ordered an eggplant parmigiana sub, and I was really disappointed with the portion. It is not a full portion, and the item has clearly been cut from a larger serving into a smaller one. I wish there had been more info about this on the lunch menu - as in, I understand that the pricing is super low, so once I received the portion I realized why it was so low, but I do think the menu should be more clear that this is a lunch portion, and that, I assume, a dinner portion would be a larger amount. Since it just said eggplant parmiagana, I thought I would be getting a complete/whole amount, even though I would have had to bring half home with me. Again, completely reasonable considering the low price, just surprised due to the menu's descriptions. Again, soup was awesome, eggplant parmigiana was good, and service was great. Splurged and ordered the chocolate lasagna because I had read about it in the Palm Beach Post. Although very creative, I did not personally enjoy the dessert (I did not find the textures appealing). I'll start off by saying Agliolios never disappoints. Every time we go there we always have the best experience. Wether at the bar or at a table, the service is exceptional. Jeremay is who we always prefer when we go there, she is the sweetest, most attentive server/bartender. We also love Katie, she's incredible and just as attentive. Like I said, we are never disappointed when we go there. This has been our go to Italian restaurant for the past several years. My go to is usually a chicken cutlet with some variation of a pasta dish and either a glass of wine or an espresso martini. My favorite is during their fall specials when they have this amazing pasta dish with brown butter and sage. If you're looking for a place for good food, drinks and service, this is your place. Also would like to note, Connor is always so helpful and is on top of everything there. We truly love getting lunch or dinner here. Highly, highly recommend! read more

The food feels like homemade cooking. It's flavored but in a smooth way; just enough for a great taste. Our server on our first visit was a pretty lady named Katrina. She surely made our experience better with her attentive service and her knowledge of all the dishes on the menu. She was decisive for my husband and me to get back there. So my family meant tonight for dinner, none of us never been there so it was our 1st and we agree last time. The 3 of us ordered dishes with Pasta, we agreed not cooked enough, and my dish was bland, needed something to give it taste. Service was great. Pasta was ok. Bolognese sauce was good. I ordered the Veal Saltimbocca and it was almost inedible. I think they put way too much much flower on it and then the pan must not have been hot enough. It was very gummy in texture. It ruined any flavor it had. read more

Agliolio is my favorite go-to Italian spot. The service is always top-notch--shoutout to Katrina and Conor for being so friendly and attentive this past visit. I always get the Pastability because I love how customizable it is--it's perfect for picky eaters like me (lol). I also just tried the grilled wings today and they are seriously amazing, I wish I would have tried them sooner. Also, the garlic bread is so tasty you'll want to order extra. My friend and I were discussing where to meet for a Saturday night dinner when she recommended Agliolio. Opened in 2012 and located in the Shoppes at Boynton Plaza, this is the second location of Agliolio Italian Bistro & Bar. The original Agliolio opened 2009 in Wellington on Forest Hill Boulevard. It was busy during our visit with a large party in the back of the restaurant. We thought there would be a long wait but they found us a table quickly. The casual restaurant is long and narrow with large plate glass windows. There is a granite topped bar in the center and dark wood booths lining the perimeter of the restaurant. We landed at a booth along the back wall. The menu includes appetizers, baked pastas, and Italian chicken/veal favorite dishes which include bread, and soup or salad. Everything is made from scratch, non GMO, hormone and antibiotic free ingredients. Locally grown produce is used whenever possible. What sets Agliolio apart from the typical Italian restaurant is the DIY portion of the menu for pizzas and pastas. Choose a noodle, add vegetables, and pick a sauce, and protein if desired. The only limit is your imagination. I started my meal with a fruity and refreshing white wine sangria. The complimentary bread was addicting and I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh, crisp Cesar salad that followed. For my main course I ordered the angel hair shrimp scampi with sundried tomatoes. The scampi sauce was especially delectable. We were getting pretty full by this point but couldn't resist a deconstructed form of one of my favorite Italian desserts, cannoli. The cannoli dip features a mound of cannoli cream in the center surrounded by crisp cinnamon dusted shell pieces for dipping. It took an already beloved dessert to a whole new level. I enjoyed everything about my meal from start to finish. The timing of the dishes coming out from the kitchen was perfect as was the attentive but not overly hovering service. Agliolio is an ideal choice for anyone who enjoys great food at a good value. read more

This past weekend, my family and I went for a birthday dinner. I have passed by this restaurant numerous times but never had the chance or paid attention to going in but because my family chose it- we had a good experience with dinner. It was packed for a Saturday night but everyone seemed comfortable and in good spirits. The menu is personal and able to be customize all for a good price. It was a little overwhelming if you didn't know how to the menu works but not hard to to understand but attention is needed your first time there. It was fun to personalize the meal but must not be to much for the waiters taking the order and the cooks on a daily basis due to the patience and choices that are offered. Every meal is pretty much different. They handle it well :) The food is good, well portions and tasty. I enjoyed my meal and my 2 martinis that I had tried - I would go back again. Food was great. Service was awful! The good things..... food was great! We had an appetizer, 5 meals, drinks, and a dessert. Everything was delicious (except the meatballs- they were oddly dense). The bad things...... Server seemed irritated with us. Wouldn't let my 8 year old grandson order Alfredo sauce for his kids meal, irritated that my 11 year wanted a refill, wouldn't bring us bread (we asked 3 times then asked someone else to bring it), she was just all around irritated. Made a reservation for 6:45 pm tonight 3/31/26 and arrive 5 minutes early for Agliolios Boynton Beach. Hostess refuses to seat us without proof of our reservation. We show her the reservation that was made on their website. She still states she does not have our names in her laptop. So we ask to see the manager. Someone comes out and sees the printed reservation and denies that it is his restaurant. It clearly states Agliolios , Commerce Blvd, Boynton Beach and he still denies that it is his restaurant. He refused to seat us. DO NOT EAT HERE! They clearly have no respect for their customers and are too rude to be worthy of anyone's business!!! read more

I ordered my food online, however this is the second time I've eaten here. I didn't recall coming to this location until I arrived at the restaurant. The food is ok. I got a build my own pasta. The pasta had little flavor. The Cajun chicken made it better, but this isn't worth the price that I paid for not tasting good. I walked into the restaurant and wasn't greeted. My food was on a table, I grabbed it and that's when a waitress called out to her coworker to acknowledge me. I guessing to make sure I was the correct person for that order. I gave it a 3 star because my food was ready by the stated time and the amount of food I received is a good portion. I just wouldn't recommend. read more

This is a great place for Pasta, I believe It is home made and absolutely flavorful. While they're typical bar drinks such as beer and wine are good I will say the others seem dull or watered down. I am not looking for an over served drink but their dirty martini seemed off and It was not just me who thought this a friend on multiple occasions/visits had the same experience. This place is always delicious. They're definitely busy so if you can go on an off time it's your best bet. Definitely order the sangria it's delicious! The meatballs are light and delicious with a nice garlic flavor. The stuffed jalapeño was good but not for me. Love how you can get a salad, entree and pasta for a very fair price. The house salad was fresh with olives and tomato's. The dressing was delicious! Be careful not to fill up on their out of this world garlic bread! I decided on the chicken parm with vodka sauce and then angel hair with vodka sauce. Both were delicious. Like the concept of building your own dish. Very reasonable in price. My boyfriend got veal parm and gnocchi. Very tender and tasty. I got linguine and clams. While clams were delicious pasta very Al dente with no sauce. I should have sent it back but honestly was on such carb overload from the great bread that I didn't care. Went back and probably better places around overall. Pasta was Al dente again and chicken and egg plant parm mushy. Think I'll go elsewhere in future. I will say reservation wasn't really honored. So service was good. Location is good. Atmosphere is like mostly seniors. Seems like old school fast food look. Food was okay. My daughter and I each had the build your own pasta. Was okay but both were very watery. She had zoodles with vegetables chicken and pesto, I had spinach fettuccine with vegetables and grilled eggplant and a bruschetta type sauce.
