Sauces are decent and simple. Size and contents: sizes are decent (abundant toppings and good selection), but they charge for avocado (other poke places usually don't). They did add a tuna luau that has bits of avocado, but that takes away from some of your fish scoop size. Service: Staff are always friendly and have smiles on their faces, probably one of the standouts in this restaurant. Aaron and Chase have been particularly friendly each time I've come in. I have been to many and this place is definitely ranked high on my list. The fish is fresh, they have plenty of toppings, and the service is great. Everyone there is very friendly, especially Eduardo who I made small talk with as they were about to close. Typically employees tend to be on the grumpier side but Eduardo was still enthusiastic about taking my order even though it was a quarter till close so extra points for that. This place is a no go for me. I went because I wanted a poke burrito. I ordered everything I wanted on the burrito and when it came time for the server to roll my burrito it seemed that it was gonna be impossible because there was so much stuff. Their Temple City location is my husband and I's favorite so we drive all the way from San Dimas just to eat there. We were ecstatic when we found out they opened one in the Eastland area (across Ikea) and went to try during their opening week. We got the bowls 50% off at this time. The freshness of the fish is same as Temple City's, the only problem I got was that my rice was undercooked. And if you're serving poke, rice is super important because it is the base of your dish!
