Food truck at the job. Mind you it's at a work location. So it's going to be a lot of people possibly It's only two people working. I waited 1hour and 45 minutes for 2 pc catfish. The fish is ok but was not worth that wait. No apologies no dessert to compensate for the time or wait. When I was about to ask for my money back because I had to go to work my number was called. They ran out of fish after the people waited for over an hour. They had to wait for cake as well. Smh. Word of advise have more workers. Cause had all my coworkers come out it would have been a disaster. One coworker said her fish wasn't done in the middle.

I Have been seeing this business here and I've been wanting to try it ! So today I was so excited coming home from school to see signs out regarding their catfish basket and burgers! My family and I got the burger basket, hot link sandwich as well as the pork-chop sandwich with fries ! We ALL enjoyed our food and it is so filling. It has that southern style that's original! It was very delicious ! Definitely ordering a cake tomorrow and I will definitely spread the word as much as possible on all of my social media's. The owners are so respectful! The price is just right ! The food quality was drop dead amazing ! Can't wait to come back !!!!!

Yummy chicken tenders...so crispy and delicious you won't want to share!

One thing I wish about my experience at Cafe Frida is that I HAD IT SOONER! Oh my!…read more I rarely find myself in the Garland area, so when I began taking some pilates classes nearby, I knew I needed to find all the cute local gems! Cafe Frida being one of them! Not only is this cafe so cozy and comfortable, there is plenty of space to sit! It would absolutely be perfect for anyone looking for a good working from home location as they also have plenty of outlets! And the service! Oh my, the girls at the front have been so sweet and kind! They often make conversation while also helping choose the best options on the menu! Now for the good stuff! The Menu! I have yet to try any of their food options, but I have had a chance to try both their iced and hot lattes! I can confidently say that Cafe Frida knows what they are doing when it comes to a good cup of caffeine! Sometimes, especially when ordering something with a bit more sweetness, coffee or espresso can lose it's taste, and as someone who craves the taste of coffee and espresso, Cafe Frida def makes sure all flavors are balanced! I just love when a coffee isn't overtaken by so many different flavors! I already cannot wait to go back! I attend pilates on Wednesday's, so they will def be seeing me again!

First of all, the Bishop Arts District itself is incredibly charming. Block after block of unique shops ranging from bookstores and bakeries to candle shops, candy stores, coffee spots, and little boutiques. It's exactly the kind of neighborhood I loveeeee exploring while traveling and if I lived in Dallas, I'd probably frequent this area often. As for The Wild Detectives, the concept alone immediately appealed to me...bookstore meets cafe meets bar meets restaurant. That combination will pretty much always grab my attention. I love to read, I love to eat. The space has a pretty relaxed, community oriented vibe, and during my Saturday morning/early afternoon visit, there were plenty of people working, reading, chatting, and hanging out both inside and on the patio. My one slight disappointment was that the bookstore side itself was smaller than I expected and didn't have quite as extensive a selection as I had imagined. That said, I still managed to leave with a few great additions for my ever growing TBR pile. Overall, this was a worthwhile stop and one I may revisit the next time I'm in Dallas.
