Honestly the best food I've eaten my entire trip down here in Texas! The honey garlic sauce was amazing and the chicken was fried to perfection. Corn cakes were crunchy and soft on the inside. Then the peach cobbler Bundt cake just topped it all off, lick the container type of good! read more

Food truck at the job. Mind you it's at a work location. So it's going to be a lot of people possibly It's only two people working. I waited 1hour and 45 minutes for 2 pc catfish. The fish is ok but was not worth that wait. No apologies no dessert to compensate for the time or wait. When I was about to ask for my money back because I had to go to work my number was called. They ran out of fish after the people waited for over an hour. They had to wait for cake as well. Smh. Word of advise have more workers. I Have been seeing this business here and I've been wanting to try it ! So today I was so excited coming home from school to see signs out regarding their catfish basket and burgers! My family and I got the burger basket, hot link sandwich as well as the pork-chop sandwich with fries ! We ALL enjoyed our food and it is so filling. It has that southern style that's original! It was very delicious ! Definitely ordering a cake tomorrow and I will definitely spread the word as much as possible on all of my social media's. The owners are so respectful! Worth the wait! The butter cakes will leave you addicted. "Soc it to me" is the best flavor in my opinion. The burgers are really good too, but this place is definitely prized for the butter cakes! BEST EVER...Sock it to Me Cake....It socked it to me alright. Moist, delicious, perfect amount of cinnamon and pecans. Just like the old school cakes where no store bought mixes were used. No, it was better. The only way it could have been better is if I could have received one right out of the oven. I wonder if I can get one like that... 2. Lemon...sweet and tangy...delicious and moist...another best for me... 3. Salted caramel...the caramel was delicious...it could have been my #2, but the salt to caramel combo was not, maybe blended, is the word. It just kind of tasted like a bit of salt was added here and there. Personally, I would just prefer caramel with no salt. I hope the owners see this and consider it. 4. Pineapple. It was delicious...no complaints, but of the four, it is likely the one I might not order again. The actual fruit and cake thing...maybe not my favorite, but if you like that, then, you will love it. Pros...the owners are friendly...i loved talking with the guy about our Oak Cliff roots. The wife is friendly, too. Cakes are delcious, not commercial tasting at all. Prices and sizes of cakes are good. Cons...not open everyday, buy and go...not sit down area..can miss the place if you are not looking for it...cash only. I am not really sure if these are cons since they are the exact things that allow a business to remain so personable, yet all good businesses grow, and I hope these guys do too. Formerly located at the Dallas Farmer's Market, Ain't No Mo Butter Cakes now have a food truck and have added many new items to the menu. So far I have tried their chicken tenders, Philly cheesesteak, smothered potatoes, and French fries. EVERYTHING IS GREAT!!!!! If you are a fan of flavor, it is well worth the drive to have your appetite and sweet tooth satisfied here. Everything is well seasoned, and you can't go wrong with any item here as it is prepared to order. You can't get better chicken tenders anywhere!!! Not even that popular place in Oak Cliff....I can't even think of the name of that place. The chicken tenders at Ain't No Mo Butter Cakes will win over any other restaurant's. The best of the best in Bundt cakes in Dallas. I have been a fan of Quincy's for a long time all the way back to when he was a neighbor of Pecan Lodge when it was in the Dallas Farmers Market. Just a great guy with an amazing product. I will frequently drive long distances to get that butter yellow cake with the vanilla icing and the strawberry recipe is a hit in my family too. I ordered from uber eats and I paid 2 dollars extra to add bacon to my burger these ppl put 1 strip! 1 freaking strip of bacon, do you slaughter and butcher the pig yourself?I have texture issues and can't eat a burger with out bacon.. My wife and I stopped by last week - we were excited to see they were in the area, since we'd previously go get cakes from them when they had the storefront at the Valley View Mall. And thankfully, the cakes are just as good as ever - fluffy, buttery and just the right amount of icing. This was a first time trying their non-cake ware, but that was great too - I had the fried chicken wings, and they were nice and crispy and perfectly seasoned; the fries were as well. Bought the turtle cake at the Grapevine winefest while on vacation. Don't know how we managed to not eat it until we returned home 3 days later. There were times when it sat in the car for hours.
