I did not know what a great dryer air duct cleaning service should be until we had Aaron came last week. In addition to be polite, considerate, friendly and very knowledgeable, the cleaning was superb and thorough. Aaron cleaned the duct, including the portion under the dryer, plus the front where the screen goes. I never saw any other company clean the front and Aaron made it looks like as clean as new. He also used vacuum hose adapter so results in very minimum dust while he brush throughout the duct. I hired Aaron to "re-clean" my dryer ducts in December after someone that was referred to me actually clogged the vent at the elbow/corner, and told me I needed to replace my vents. I was googling Yelp for Duct and Vent Cleaning Services and found AJ Services (AJS) with an amazing 5 star rating from 231 reviews. So I requested a quotation from AJS to service my heater system (no air condition) and provided them with the number of vents, intake duct, furnace cleanup; and also requested a quotation for dryer service and cleanout. Aaron promptly replied outlining a detailed scope of their services and a cost estimate including what promotions are available to me. What AJS described for their service was certainly appealing to me: "For air duct cleaning, we use a machine called a rotobrush which has a 45ft long hose and a rotating brush attached to the end. We clean each vent leading back to the furnace. The machine brushes and vacuums simultaneously and keeps everything self contained in the hepa chamber so no dust coming out" We settled on a start date, a day after I emailed him for a quotation. As soon as Aaron arrives at my house, we first had a walk through of my house heater system. Next he ask me sign off on the work order and price quotation for permission to proceed. He then explained what they would do and the order they would them. They were very thorough: He even crawled inside the intake vent area underneath the furnace and took pictures of the dryer pipe connecting to the outside wall and photos of my dryer assembly. Aaron and his technician Jackie were very prompt, organized, careful and respectful of the place of work; putting everything back in order and cleaning up after each area of their work was done. The whole project lasted about 3.5 hours (9 vents, 1 entry vent, 1 furnace, 1 dryer) completely roto-brushed cleaned, and tested). I was very satisfied of their work and I recommend them highly. Aaron cleaned our air ducts, furnace and dryer vent. He was very thorough and kept me well updated throughout the process, finding some old and unfortunately, recent mouse droppings in our vents. He even took a picture for me. Aaron graciously helped me reconnect the dryer hose under the house and also helped put up some mesh where mice could have gotten in which he didn't need to do. I scheduled with Aaron to clean my dryer ducts after my neighbor recommended AJ Services very highly. I was not disappointed. Aaron was punctual and communication was excellent. Every time I open my front door to a company offering services, I hold my breath hoping that a reasonably safe looking person who knows their trade will be standing at my doorstep. Aaron was clear with his pricing before starting the job. He is booking about 2-3 weeks out so be aware of that. He communicated when he was stuck in traffic and about 10 minutes late, which wasn't a problem. He completed the cleaning and vacuuming the dryer vent ducts in about 45 minutes including helping to repair an aluminum accordian type duct (I don't know what the technical term is) which attaches the back of dryer to the ducts in the house wall. The house had never had the dryer ducts serviced in the last 30 years from best he could tell, so it was pretty clogged up. But he was able to clear out all the lint, fix the hole in the accordian attachment, and vacuum around the dryer including the lint trap inside it. I had gotten a quote from another place but they didn't mention cleaning the inside of where the lint trap goes. He seemed careful and thorough. I plan to have him come out again in about 2-3 years when the dryer is due for vent cleaning service again. read more

What a wonderful job Arron did to clean up my gutters! He replied to my request promptly, scheduled and arrived on time. In addition to my original request (for gutters on the 1st floor), he checked all gutters on the 2nd floor, and showed me pictures of how they look, and made recommendations. After cleaning the gutters (almost 20 gallons of grass, moss etc.), he also test the downspout to make sure there were no clogging and the water is flowing down smoothly. Then came the day of service, It was also Aaron who showed up to do the work (clean gutters of debris). I wasn't home but my wife was, but Aaron kept me informed every so often on his status through texts. They were very responsive in following-up on my email request, outlining the process & a quote. Brian showed up and was VERY friendly & professional. I had zero reservations about him being in my home or doing a good job. We first did a walk through of each vent, the furnace & any questions I had. They then brought in their equipment, wearing booties to protect our floors & laying down floor protectors for the equipment. We had 10 vents, plus one intake vent & a furnace. He came over to my home to clear my dryer vents. He was punctual, professional, honest and thoughtful.his charges were reasonable and cheaper than other places I called. he has a calm confident but gentle demeanor about him. He even wears shoe covers to keep your home clean. About his work: the plan was to clean from behind the dryer into the wall and up the ducts to the outside of the house. He said that he only got a handful of clogged material during his cleaning.he was able to figure out I had a roof mounted exhaust exit and the clog was up there . Aaron did an amazing job at bird proofing my front patio area, which was getting hammered by bird poop over the past few months. I attempted to install spikes myself, but the nearly 20' tall perch was too much for me. I'm glad I called a pro to take care of it, because Aaron pointed out that spikes wouldn't work for the type of bird that was roosting.
