When I bought my house I new that I would be needing to put in a new central air system. I had several companies come out and give me estimates. I was shocked at the prices. David, the technician was here bright and early even though I'm on the other side of town and the traffic had to have been horrible. As he walked through the house he explained what he was looking for and why. He gave me an estimate a new central air conditioner that was properly sized for my home and less expensive than any other estimates given. I chose to go with Ajax and and I'm very happy I did. Installation was completed around my work schedule and much quicker than I had anticipated. With the cool weather we have been having at night I decided to start my furnace up and make sure everything was working well. Much to my surprise , it didn't kick in. I called Ajax Heating and Air Conditioning after my neighbor recommended them. The technician came out right away. Being a senior and on a fixed income I was worried. I assumed it would be a expensive fix. I was very happy to find out all I needed was a new thermostat. Some companies would have tried to sell me a new furnace. My son's furnace went out at a most inopportune time: wife in the hospital giving birth to their first baby, cold outside, coming home in a couple of days. Ajax was the only company that would come out that same day we called. John came out, diagnosed the problem, ordered a new furnace, and had it up and running before the new parents and their baby girl came home. John is very professional and knowledgeable; and his technician, Jose, is very efficient, a good craftsman, courteous, and cleaned up the work areas afterwards. Had my old furnace replaced along with the air unit Ajax did a nice job. They where on time for the install and went right to work first thing I noticed is the installer took tarps and laid them down on my floors to keep them clean I though nice. Very friendly and I feel they did a nice job I am very happy with my new furnace works great. Can't say for the air unit it's still winter but I am sure it will be fine if not i am sure they will come back and see to it. I spoke to JC late Thursday night after a tenant had called me that the heat was out. They sent someone out immediately, however the service guy had no ignitor available so my tenants slept through the night in the cold. I was disappointed in the technician as from my perspective he was not up to par. I called JC and shared my sentiment, he looked into it a bit further and after, based on his assessment of the situation, he did not charge me for the service call. If you want to work with an HONEST heating company, I highly recommend working with JC. read more

Thank you Ajax! My wife went into labor the same day that we realized that our furnace wasn't working. We had a home warranty, and Ajax made sure that the process on the home warranty's side was expedited in order for Ajax to go ahead with their work on our house. I went to a friends house to wait for the heating guy. She had to work. Turned out it was Ajax Heating and Air. He showed up earlier than expected. Found the problem right a way and fixed it.
