This restaurant gets a 5 star. The food is fabulous, large portions. Flavors are loaded with hints of lime and other mild fresh tasting spices. Your palate feels like it is being refreshed at every fork full. This restaurant needs to be included with Westchester's best restaurants. Chanel 12 news dining needs to visit here to help promote this place. Everything i tasted was excellent! Take your family and friends and enjoy an excellent meal you will not forget.

After a long day out and about, three of us came here on a recent rainy evening. We were hungry and Peruvian food sounded good to us! We have missed our favorite Pervuvian place in California! The menu items were not quite the same as the ones we have had so we tried to order things that sounded similar. My daughter and I shared a couple dishes: the Papa Andina a la Huancaina (fingerling potatoes with huancaina cheese sauce topped with hard boiled egg) and one of the "Chef's Specialties," Arroz Con Mariscos a la Huancaina, a rice and seafood dish that came topped with an orchid. My husband got the Half Chicken with two sides and we all shared an order of Sweet Plantains. We were happy with what we had! The dishes were flavorful and comforting. Plus, we had a very attentive server. While it was not like the ones we are familiar with, we would come back again if we are in town.

Wanted to stay local for our anniversary dinner so we came here for the second time. It was even better than the first and they expanded the menu too. The only negative is that I wish they had more vegetarian options. We will definitely come back again.

Food was ok. Their appetizer was a little cold when served. Main dish was very greasy and it tastes kind of like Chinese fried rice. What is the sneakiest thing is that they charge additional 3.5% surcharge if you use a credit card. It was completely unheard of. I asked to refund the credits card charge and use a debit card but they refused because their manager was not on duty. And they asked us to come back the next day but it was impossible, because we live live New York City. My recommendation is don't do business like this or at least be transparent and upfront about these additional charges

So yummy! authentic peruvian restaurant gem and i'm very happy i discovered it on an outing with friends. it is very cozy environment and delicious succulent flavors. when i went there was plenty of seats available. we got steak and eggs with a special rice which was incredible i never had anything like that rice before. i got some shredded chicken in a hollandaise type of sauce with white rice and it was very beautiful. i will go here again if i'm ever in the area. it is definitely something you should try when you're out of nyc! 10/10 thank you for this meal and the generous hospitality!! love peruvian food especially this restaurant!

Called to make sure the place was open on a Saturday afternoon and asked if they were busy; the response, "we just opened, we are not busy". Came here anyway. We heard the sangria was good "most popular drink", "recommended by Westchester magazine"... says so right on their menu. Tried to order a pitcher of it, they said they ran out..?!? We were here on a Saturday at 1:30pm... and no sangria. I stuck to water. Appetizers were good. Entree was fried well and a huge portion that came with a variety of dipping sauces. So if you're looking for a good meal, and not much else, this is a place to check out.

The rice was delicious with a generous portion of meat accompanying the well flavoured rice dish. The soup however was very poor, it basically tasted like garlic water with overcooked egg and dry chicken, quite a feat considering it was encapsulated by liquid. There was zero depth of flavour, the noodles and what I assume was yucca pieces in there were both mushy and lacked any bite or texture. A real 1/10 of dish that went largely uneaten. Especially egregious was the fact that this soup, whilst a generous portion, had very little meat in it and was $16! The people were very nice and pleasant and maybe I just ordered the wrong thing because the fried rice dish was excellent.

I love Peruvian cuisine and finally checked this place out on Sunday. She also handled the take-out orders, Hardworking girl! I ordered the Chufa Mixto which is Peruvian fried rice with beef, chicken and shrimp. It was absolutely delicious and the portion was so generous, I got dinner out of it too. The atmosphere was cozy and had a wonderful Peruvian flavor. I can't wait to go back and try something else. A cozy, friendly and very affordable little restaurant with really good food and generous portions.

My girlfriend and I decided to share the very generous portion of paella. The rice in the paella was absolutely delicious and there was a good assortment of seafood. My only criticism if any was that it was a little bit oily as we worked our way down to the bottom of the dish. We ate plenty each and had plenty to take home. We then decided to try the desserts. I had the bread pudding or Tres Luce (spelling?) and she had the flan. Both were delicious but unfortunately, towards the bottom of each, we discovered that they had just recently been frozen. They hadn't quite thawed out at the bottom! The service was excellent - warm and inviting. I wish I could've given an extra star, but between the frozen deserts decide and the oily paella I couldn't.

The takeout special is an easy win -- generous portions, great value, and ideal for sharing. Add the yuca fries (extra, but worth it) for that crispy-outside, fluffy-inside bite. Something about the sign aesthetic made me think it would be a good place. I Yelp-Searched it, and Lima 32 damn near had a perfect rating based on less than 50 reviews. I'm a Food Blogger. So I try to explore new places and avoid repeating spots I know. I've eaten at Lima 32 three times since January. Lima 32 is a small casual Peruvian spot located in a very small plaza in Meriden. Parking is tough, but they've done a nice job with the aesthetics inside. Lima 32 is also available on DoorDash within a certain area. I've now had the Lomo Saltado, the Arroz Con Marisco and the Chaufa de Pollo. Best Lomo Saltado I've ever had, and I've had a really expensive one at a famous CT spot. It's basically a beef and veggie stir fry. You can see the chef making it with fire in the pan if you have the right seat. The soy and oyster sauce based glaze is good salty. So flavorful and everything is perfectly cooked. Best Arroz Con Marisco I've ever had. It's a saucy Peruvian paella. The sauce (Aji Amarillo) has a well rounded creamy pepper flavor. The seafood, like crab, mussels and shrimp really stand out. I suspect the seafood varies depending on what's available. The Chaufa de Pollo, a Chinese fried rice style dish, was very good too. Huge pieces of chicken. Eat it with the delicious Aji Verde sauce. Is Lima 32 hidden? I don't know. But it sure the hell is a gem. It's must visit. 5 Stars
