Just ate here and was very dissatisfied with the miso ramen. Not a fan of bean sprouts in my ramen and there way too much of it. Pork was so thin and broth had no flavor. Wife's ramen was better but not by much. Service was great and the takoyaki and gyozas were good. But probably the worst ramen I've ever had. read more

My husband wanted to eat ramen and saw this place in the waiphu town center by seafood city and Longs drugs. So we decided to try them. My husband ask the server how long they're open and she said a couple of weeks now. I looked over the menu and saw mini portions so I decided to get mini chicken katsu curry rice and my husband saw aji special ramen. Well when it came out was massive and mines was just right. I love Aji Ramen! The crab wontons are so good--super filling and generously stuffed. The calamari rings are delicious, but my absolute favorite is the chashu fried rice ‍. And the garlic chicken? This place is great. So went here for dinner with the wife. Walked in at 1615, seated immediately. Not too busy; two other couples in the place. 7 total tables, so plenty of room still left. Gave our order at 1618 and received the food at 1623. Portions are enormous. I ordered the Aji Ramen and it is massive with generous portions of ...well... everything. Everything tastes so ono! They have various selections but my favorite has got to be the Black Garlic Tan Tan Ramen!! It's sooo delicious and the kids loved their fried rice and katsu curry too! Tried this place based on reviews. My review is specifically for what I ordered: the vegetable ramen. It usually comes with shio broth however I requested the miso broth instead, my normal preference. Aji's miso broth just didn't have much flavor which made the ramen bowl just bland. Went to Aji Ramen for a Thursday evening dinner and it didn't disappoint. I had a long day at work and just wanted to leave the dinner making to a restaurant. This was my family's first time going and it was an enjoyable one from the moment we walked in the door. I was a little skeptical at first since we were the only ones there dining in, but the immediate welcoming from the hostess/waitress, who I'm assuming is also an owner/manager, was very pleasant. She had us choose where to sit, so we left it up to our son. He chose a half booth and half chairs table. She immediately gave us our menus and ice water with lemon flavor. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice and clean. Loved that they played POP! 101.9 on the radio. My husband and I ordered a Ramen Set A, which came with: - Mini ramen: It had various toppings and we added an egg for $2 each. OMG that egg was so good; melted in the mouth with the soft yolk. - 4 piece gyoza: This was one of the best I've had too. The grill on the outside, along with the texture on the side and inside were delicious. - Chicken katsu curry with rice: We both selected this so we could share this and noodles with our son. The texture and flavor on the chicken katsu was delicious. All of the food was more than enough for the three of us. We even had leftover ramen noodles, rice, and a couple gyoza pieces. The overall service was attentive and responsive for our waters, the food, and our check. If paying by card, they have a portable card machine. Initially, I had our son take up the check and card, which was brought back with the machine, and she made small conversation with my son. Aji Ramen also had a discount going on, which we assumed was for their grand opening, but not sure. We would definitely come again to try other menu items. read more

I got the chicken katsu curry. The portions here are generous. Felt like I ate 2 meals lol. Ramen was super flavorful. Katsu curry was good. The katsu was crispy and they give a lot hehe.
