Aladdin Heating and Cooling is by far the most professional, honest, helpful, and caring company you will deal with. Late January 2022 my furnace went out (again) and I finally threw in the towel and decided we are replacing our 25-year-old York furnace and putting in central air. Aladdin Heating and Cooling was already recommended to me by family members, so Jeff was the first person I reached out to. I did get 2 other quotes. As a matter of fact, many well-known companies did not service my zip code even though I'm a tenth of a mile from a serviced zip code and surrounded by them. Nonetheless, with 3 quotes in total, 1 being well-known and the other the largest company in our area, I proceeded to make an informed decision. I did what most people would and read many reviews on each company. I researched the brand each installed, and the different systems and warranties offered. As I was doing my research, I read that a furnace and ac unit's most important day of its life is the day it gets installed and is only as good as its installation. Realizing that installation and the crew of installers, technicians, electricians, etc. is just as or more important than the brand (of which Carrier is a top brand), I then focused on the install end and warranties. Further into my research I learned not only do HVAC technicians have to be licensed/certified, but Carrier requires them to be Carrier certified as well, meaning they are highly qualified and trained. Aladdin Heating and Cooling installs Carrier. They also have higher industry standard warranties on labor (5 year), parts (10 year), and heat exchanger (lifetime). From the beginning Jeff, the owner, did not try to upsell or oversell us anything we didn't need. He was very thorough, proficient, and listened to our needs and answered all our questions quickly and at any time of the day. He let us know how the process would work and it went exactly as he said. I was reassured and felt the crew would be the best of the best. Everyone was timely and courteous. Their quote was comparable or less than the others. And I quickly understood that my indecisive decision thankfully was the best. The company itself; its philosophy and being a smaller family-owned business, Jeff and his sincerity, the fact that they clearly care more about their clients as we are not just money or a sale to them but a future to their company, a lifelong friend and client, and one who will spread the word is more than anyone could ask for. Through start to finish, from Jeff to the crew of installers/technicians (Thomas and Raid) to the electrician (Macson Electric), they all went above and beyond to replace and install a new Carrier furnace as well as install a new Carrier AC system. Their knowledge and hard work were nothing but amazing and immaculate. You'd normally not look at duct work or piping or wiring or plugs or a furnace or an ac unit as something beautiful, but they make it that way. Thomas and Raid have been doing this for so long that they probably can do installs in their sleep, but their attention to detail and pride they put into their work is clearly visible. They got straight to work and were done in about 6 hours. They explained the new systems to us and told us everything we need to know about the care and maintenance of each. They answered all our questions and were extremely helpful. Same goes with Macson Electric. He also went straight to work and was done in about 3 hours. His expertise was evident, and he too went over everything with us afterwards and asked if we had any questions. I seriously couldn't think of a more competent, friendly, and trustworthy group of individuals. Next is inspection and I am positive all will go well. Aladdin Heating & Cooling came to my home and did an assessment of my current AC late last summer. The techs were very professional (something that is extremely important to me as a woman at home with young children during the day). Anyway, the techs did the assessment and gave me several options because my AC was leaking coolant at a rapid level. Last fall, I chose to move forward with a short term fix which did the trick and got us through August/September. Perfect. Six months later, I asked The Aladdin guys to come back in spring so we could discuss moving forward with a new AC system. One of the owners (Jeff T.) sat down with me and showed me several options with new AC systems, and also different payment options (buying a system upfront vs. financing a system). He was extremely professional and took the time to not only answer my questions but also to give me the pros and cons of each system - and walk me through warranties and all of the details. I do not know anything about AC systems so I required a lot of time and answers, but Jeff was great and patient with all of my questions! Finally, I made a decision that day on a system and we chose an installation date. On the actual date of installation, the Aladdin techs came to my house exactly as planned (830am) and got started right away. Again, they were very professional and pretty much worked downstairs in the basement & outside while I carried on with my normal day upstairs with my children. They finished on time - and the best part is that they took the mess with them - and left my backyard and basement TOTALLY CLEAN. This is a lost art in the service industry where so many workmen leave their messes for you to clean up, but NOT Aladdin - they left my basement and backyard it cleaner than when they came! Nice job guys! So now, I have a wonderful Carrier AC installed by totally professional guys that do honest work and are professional and straight forward. Jeff with sales was fantastic, explained all my different options in detail and gave offered good suggestions. It was decided that my existing air filtration unit and existing humidifier were in great shape so they would not need to be replaced, saving me money. The whole sales process was very comfortable and delivery was quick. The installation went quickly but when the lead tech was done my existing humidifier was not working. After troubleshooting the tech determined the water inlet solenoid was bad. I questioned that assertion because I have verified just a week before it worked after some plumbing rework but I went with the techs findings. A replacement solenoid was needed so the tech put in a service call for the next day to replace the solenoid free of charge even though it was not part of the new furnace. The next day a different tech arrived with the part and I again indicated that I felt the solenoid was fine and the issue was a wiring error with the furnace installation. The tech did recheck the installation work and replaced the water inlet solenoid which did not correct the issue. After some additional checks it was determined that the wiring for the humidifier was done incorrectly which the new tech corrected. The humidifier started working and the issue was resolved. Although I felt the service techs were a bit lacking in their abilities I at least want to acknowledge Aladdin's quick response to my issue and willingness to forgo charging me for a part not included in the furnace installation, which turned out not to be the problem anyway. read more

Installed a new furnace and air conditioner (A/C looks good but can't comment on it in November) this week. Raid and Serhiy were the install team. Jeff was the salesman. I had a good discussion with Jeff during his sales visit. He made insightful observations about my current system and detailed what would be done. I was more concerned than most with the install because of a bad previous install years ago with a different company. When Raid and Serhiy arrived, they worked hard until they completed the task. It was a high efficiency furnace, so they had additional work (including the PVC which Serhiy did well !). Raid showed me the work after. I was highly impressed with the work they both did !! I had high expectations, and they exceeded any reasonable expectations. The system looks really good ! They paid attention to details (taping, insulation around A/C pipe, proper sloping, code compliance, etc.), clean integration into existing ducts, height to floor, cleaning up, and (big item) had an installation completely consistent the way Jeff explained it would be installed during our sales discussion. My furnace went out on a Sunday and called the Aladdin 24x7 hotline. They sent out a technician 1st thing Monday morning who diagnosed multiple cracks in the heat exchanger. I knew this day was coming as it was time to replace my old 32-year old Lennox furnace and the same age A/C unit too. That Monday afternoon, Aladdin sent out Dan the salesman who was very professional, knowledgable, and thorough. He took the time to understand my dilemna and immediate need. He did a walk through to review my requirements, and quickly came up with a quote for both the furnace and A/C at which time we scheduled the install the next day Tuesday morning. The 3 Aladdin installers (Morgan, Serhii, and Jason) showed up promptly first thing Tuesday morning. They were very professional and their dedication and attention to detail was paramount. They replaced both old Lennox units and installed the new Carrier furnace and A/C units by early afternoon which was amazing. All of the old equipment was cleaned up and hauled away too! I was up and running without a hitch. Kudos to the Aladdin team for getting the heat turned back on. Just installed the new heater & A/C unit on 1/25 after having a discussion about the system and quote on 1/21 with Jeff Turowski. My search for heating companies over the past 2 months was just done right after the meeting with Jeff. He was very knowledgeable and honest, so I was able to make the decision without any pressure. Jeff recommended just the right unit that will be sufficient to my house (not needed to spend extra money for fancier model). Quoted price was the best among all the quotes I've got in 2 months. Their installers Mike and Raid were great, very friendly and professional. They were here on time and did their job above my expectations. Made sure they had protective covering for the carpet, cleaned up everything once the work was completed, and gave great tips and advice. At the end explained in detail what was done and what I as a homeowner would need to know. I highly recommend Aladdin. Can't beat their price, they give you the best deal, and explain to you everything about each product, they don't oversell. They are very trustworthy and honest. I had a total of 3 quotes from 3 HVAC vendors. 2 of them had deadlines that in order to get the special price I had to have the install in 2-3 days. Aladdin Heating and Cooling were the only vendor that gave me a 30 day price lock and were cheaper in cost than the other 2 vendors limited time offers. With Aladdin, there was no hard sell from the sales rep. No texts and phone calls pushing me for an answer on making a decision and made it as pleasant as it can be when making a large purchase. I wanted a brand name installed (Carrier) after having years of an unknown brand that never kept up and kept having issues, I was very happy with my choice. They were really nice, even taking the time to entertain some questions from my inquisitive 4 year old. We were impressed with their workmanship and how clean they left the work space in the end. They explained how to care for the units, change the filter, and the basics of the new thermostat and condensation pump. Aladdin took care of the permit paperwork and set up our city inspections. I was in the market for a new AC condenser and coil and some duct work in the basement. I contacted 10 companies, 7 made it out for a quote and 5 came back with a somewhat usable quote and explanation of equipment & services. Ed came back with a competitive price and showed a lot of knowledge. I got the warm & fuzzy feeling I was lacking with some of the others and gave the job to Aladdin. The installation date was scheduled as promised and the technicians were on time. When I came home from work the day of the installation I checked on the technicians and the progress and was positively surprised how much work they got done and how much quality and detail I got for my money. The guys were very nice and helpful. If the workers are happy fellows and you hear that some of them have been with the company for over 20 years it shows that they are treated well and management strives to have a friendly, content and happy crew in order to create repeat business. We wanted to add heating and cooling to our basement and contacted 3 companies. Two challenges to deal with: low overhead and heating vents to go close to the floor. Two companies could only envision the heat vents on the ceiling. Furthermore, they both recommended "more furnace". One suggested replacing our furnace by a more powerful one. The other, to add a small furnace, just for the basement. Jeff T., from Aladdin, was the only one, through creativity and practical sense, who was able to conceive the heat vents close to the floor. "Give to the customer, what the customer wants", what a great idea!! In addition, Jeff "made it work" without additional furnace, by creating a new heating zone (with its own thermostat). That was a nice saving. Logically, we chose Aladdin and don't regret it. The work was performed on time, by very professional, efficient and friendly technicians, who left nothing behind them. Coordination on a commercial installation is complicated in the City of Livonia, not to mention a new roof had been installed. Dan, gave us all the information we needed to make a great decision on equipment. Having been in the Heating & Cooling industry for years, I was expecting delays. We woke up early this Sunday morning with no heat. I called Aladdin and was surprised that they answered (I had made 3 other calls to different companies prior). The tech Jim arrived within a hour and although he was unable to fix our furnace at that point, he assured me our pipes, etc would be ok till the next morning if they could find a replacement part to our 26 year old furnace. Monday morning I received a call before 8am letting me know Jim would be out to try to fix our furnace. One of the owners (Jeff) also arrived before 9:30am and gave me a very detailed and professional quote for a new Carrier furnace. Jim was able to get our old furnace up and running for a very fair price on part/labor. Because of Aladdin's entire team's hustle, honesty and professionalism, when it comes tome for a new furnace in the near future, I will have them install for sure!
