    Steak & Cheese

I was surprised by the crunch when separating the slices but still having a chewy texture , worth the money , service was great owner is a gentleman and you can see they give off that home vibe . Brother had the steak and cheese and let me tell you that was a heavy sandwich healthy amount of REAL STEAK he said the sandwich is better than the pie he said upgrade the cheese and the pizza is a 10/10. Crust of the pizza was solid !!!!! Pizza a 8.5/10 for sure my experience here today was awesome 5 stars . Also been living in Belleville for years drove by this place thinking it was just a restaurant but they really do it all!!

Some friends and I were hungry and wanted to get food from this spot. I called in our orders and they said about 20 minutes. I arrived and had to park around the corner. I walked into a small, family style restaurant that was busy. I told the man my name and he said it wasn't ready. I had to wait another 15 minutes. I paid and left when it was done. When I got back I dug into my grilled chicken wrap. It was just ok. It needed more mayo for sure and seasoning. I had an ok experience.

Been coming for years and consistently great.i come for the Argentine menu especially the pizza, Cannelonis, faina, empanadas, milanesas, and traditional locro. Service is good, outside dining, byob and great coffee from espresso machine and desserts. I recommend the chaja a dessert with peaches, dulce de leche, cream and merengue. Also the flan with dulce de leche

Amazing service, delicious food and extremely friendly environment! We couldn't have asked for more and can't wait to head back to check out more yummy dishes!

    Argentine pizza

1st time here and I felt like I was back in Argentina with my family. Because that's how they make you feel. We ordered a few different kind of empanadas : beef, chicken, ham and cheese , onions and cheese. They were fried fresh to order. Nicely golden brown and flaky. My friend who is also Argentinean said it was the best chicken empanada he ever had. We ordered two small pizzas Argentine and fugazza. The portions are huge. When I left ,I already wanted to go back for more!!!! Can't wait, mouth is already watering

Pizza ... always bring smiles to the kids

What an incredible combination! First off, the cake was just gorgeous. But most importantly, it was absolutely delicious! Our aunt was greatly pleased with the taste, as were we, but also that it was something she had never had in all her 90 years! Ashamed to say we live only 3 blocks down, but haven't stopped in more often. Believe me, that won't happen anymore. Never saw so many beautiful pastries, cakes, cookies, and empanadas, all that we are going to try and work our way through this year.

Especially when you are not in the mood for your own cooking and you just feel like grabbing something to eat instead. It's a small baut nice bakery. A little bit of a fast paced environment. Not too bad but quick. Everything there looked absolutely delicious! We wanted to order everything but alas our time in tje line ended and we had to choose. So we ordered a few empanadas, pastries and coffee. Everything we ordered was delicious but I have to say my favorite savory was the Beef empanadas. Perfectly seasoned and crunchy on the outside. The pastries soft with the sweetness of the dulce de leche. Now their coffee to me personally I've had better. I fell like the food and pastries make up for the coffee. I still fell in love with this place. Isn't a cozy home away from home type of vibe. Wish we didn't live in Orlando so I can become a regular here but what can I do? I will just have to make another trip. Well, point is I fell in love with this place

While there isn't exactly an Argentine neighborhood in New Jersey, many great restaurants are…read morelocated in the northern part of the state. Argentine cuisine is a blend of influences from the Italian and Spanish immigrants with its chief national product, beef. They say the reason Argentine steak is so good is that its cattle graze on the country's plentiful pampas grass, rather than being grain-fed as American cattle are. The result is leaner, more flavorful, and more nutritious beef. One such establishment is on Moonachie Road in Moonachie, where my partners, our friends and I decided on Saturday dinner. Reservations were easily made via OpenTable. Upon entering this cozy, modern interior of Tango Steak as first-timers, we were greeted by the host and got a table right away. We were here 3 years ago when it was El Tango Argentina Grill. The vibe has completely changed. It's now darker and louder, not family-friendly. Music was at a decent volume and does seem to increase as it gets later, giving it a lounge type. As an appetizer, we started with Beef and Chicken Empanadas as well as Calamares (Calamari). For our main meal, we decided on the Extrana (Skirt Steak) with Mashed Potatoes & Chimichurri Sauce and Tango Burger accompanied with Fries. Food was good, not awesome. Our appetizers were tasty and well seasoned. The Skirt Steaks tasted fantastic with the Chimichurri Sauce. The Mashed Potatoes had a nice texture. However, some of us asked that their Tango Burgers be made medium but came out well done. The Fries were salty and very dry. Our service was horrendous, but our server was Nathaly who was accommodating and apologetic. Some of us had gotten their appetizer faster than others. The duration between our appetizers and the main meal was an hour. The food was not cheap given the portions received and the 20% gratuity added automatically to the bill. With insult to injury, their valet attendant charged $5. Definitely not what we expected, which is why we sadly can't recommend this place.

Owner Pablo and his staff introduced me to five of the most popular items on the menu. Empanadas: These Argentinian turnovers come in five flavors: Beef, Chicken, Caprese, Spinach, Ham & Cheese. Have one or have them all; the choice is yours! Buenos Aires Salad: This may be an appetizer, but this salad practically eats like a meal. My favorite toppings were the avocado and shrimp. I don't have an acquired taste for hard boiled eggs; but everything else was perfect. Argentinian Grill for Two: Although this barbecue is meant for two, it can easily serve three people. This carnivorous entrée is filled with all of your favorite proteins including skirt steak, blood sausage, Argentinian sausage, and beef ribs. All meats are cooked with wooden charcoal so it has that authentic hint of wooden flavor. As a bonus, this entrée is served on a table grill with charcoal. Grilled Sea Food With Lobster: You won't need to travel down the shore for seafood when you explore this dish. It has all of your favorite dishes from under the sea. Seafood Mix With Rice: Here is a variation of the previous entrée except everything is served over a heaping pile of yellow rice. If you are fan of soccer, this is definitely a perfect hang out spot. The walls are adorned with beautiful wall art and souvenirs praising the highly appreciated international sport. It was a pleasure exploring Argentinian cuisine in this fine dining establishment. #choripan #choripanrodizio #hackensacknj #seafoodmix #grilledseafood #argentiniangrill #empanadas #buenosairessalad #foodstagram #njfoodie #localbusiness

The owner, Carolina, was warm and charming as was the waitress, Amira, who provided great service. We started with Argentine beef empanadas as a starter. Both dishes were generous in portion and full of flavor, just the kind of hearty, home-style fare I love from Argentine cafés. We also picked up a sandwich de miga to take home--a crustless ham and cheese sandwich that was simple, delicate, and satisfying. I'd rate both the meal and the sandwich an easy 8 out of 10. The café itself has a welcoming, local feel, and visiting on a weekday kept things peaceful. I learned they offer fresh Argentine pastries on weekends, which sounds like a perfect reason for a return visit soon.
