Trying to pickup a BDAY cake from cakes already made, girl inside pretends she can't hear clients. After 10 minutes of waiting, cashier assistant came to help. Girl declined to write on bday cake, she doesn't do that and claims she is not a baker, but working in this section. Only option was for client to write in cake. We wrote the bday on it. Why have someone in that department, declined to help or aid the assistant cashier. Great service Albertsons, that's why this location is always empty. Worst shopping experience ever. This place is full of lines and missing employees. If you have a full day to wait in line, this is the place to go. You want something from the meat department, get a chair to wait until they find someone to help you. Ready to pay for your items, make base camp while you wait in line. I bet your items will expire before you reach the cashiers. And they only have either one or two cashiers open. Just a terrible place to shop. I don't care what Dawn has to say. She doesn't even read my complaints. I never said the deli, but that's another issue. Most of the time I was there, there's only one person helping a line of customers. I love our neighborhood Albertsons. I never really have to wait in line, the store is clean and a decent size, and employees have always been helpful. They rarely don't have what I need. I also love how seriously they take Covid cleaning. They always have someone outside wiping carts and checking that people entering are wearing masks. Diamond Bar is a nice and small community in LA county many people don't think it is in LA county but it is. This store use to be a Luckys way back in the day when I was a little kid and lived here. Now it's an Albertsons and it is pretty sweet store. The isles and food products are neatly organized and stacked. Easy to find what you are looking for and if you aren't sure what you are trying to find the friendly staff will help you find it. I haven't been to a real market in soo long but I like this one now I guess you don't even need to carry those Albertsons cards they will give you the discount at the register. Love the clean, friendly neighborhood market. Can't go wrong with it and if you are wanting to cook a nice dinner for a special someone this is a nice affordable place to buy some fresh produce and groceries. read more

So I go into this store and I park in one of the spots just outside the door due to an injury making it difficult to walk far. It's now just 8pm and I hear a associate say to the manager you're locking the door already. He responded yes. After hearing that I said I parked there so I didn't have to walk far and it is evident by my limp. This manager had no regard whatsoever, not to mention closed off an ADA access for the disabled parking right outside the door and blocking off a second means of egress. I like this store, it's nice and clean and the employees are pretty chill. They have a good selection of produce, although it's pretty pricey in comparison to Super King. But it's not bad for a place to run to for a few quick items. They carried the specific cocoa powder I was looking for for my cupcakes, which was pretty cool. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because when I went to go get the egg roll wrappers here, all of them were expired many many months ago. If you have the "Albertson's Preferred Savings" card you can save mad money- like ALOT! $5 for nice fat t-bone (og price $12) and $10 bottle wine (og price $22.99) you got a very happy girl =) I always go for the most expensive wine with the biggest discount haha mama taught me right! I just can't understand why time after time I experience terrible customer service at this store and the staff just doesn't seem to care or do anything about it. I can't argue with the quality of the bakery...I have never been disappointed with the cakes or specialty items I have ordered...but finding someone to take my order is near impossible! No matter when I go to the store or call in to submit and order, no one can ever seem to take it! I have money I am trying to spend at this store in this department and no one ever wants to help me! For example: Tonight I held on the phone for 5 minutes while the phone rang and rang. The main operator finally picked up and said "how can I help you" - I told her "bakery please" and the phone would ring and ring (20 rings!)...then the operator would come on...again I'd say "I'm holding for the bakery please- I'm trying to order a cake for my kids birthday" and she'd say, "ok let me try them again"...the phone would ring and ring (20 more times)...then the operator would pick up...this repeated 4 times until the operator finally said to me "I'm sorry, no one can help you". Seriously? I'm trying to buy something during store hours and no one can help me? I went to the store last week to try to order the same cake...no one was in the bakery. I waited. Finally I went over to produce and asked a person to help me. She said she didn't work in that department. Bad experience from the cashier today. Her name is NORMA. The supervisor told me that she is the floor manager. She was so rude and mean!!! She was ringing me up and told her I need to get 1 more item for the fav 5. I think she didn't understand the Ist time I said it. So I rephrased and explained again and she said "that's what you supposed to say!" In a rude tone. Then she asked me move on the side to keep a distance with another customer. She is ringing me up at the moment and I was standing in front of the payment terminal, she should ask the other customer to move and not me because I'm the person she is ringing up. I recently ordered fruit platters from the deli for a large conference our church hosted. We had pick up every day so they would be fresh. The fruit platters were always ready for us. They were very beautifully arranged, plentiful and very fresh. Jessica, the deli manager, and her team did an amazing job! This supermarket is clean and well stocked, but unfortunately their prices are usually the highest. The parking lot can get kind of hairy at times because there are a couple of restaurants next door. The people that work here are nice. I have yet to meet a disgruntled employee. read more

I saw a deal on some lean meat and wanted to make beef jerky. I wanted to get it sliced. I was told that because it was on sale that no extra frills like getting it sliced. That maybe the cutman would do it for me as a favor, but seeing as he wasn't there in the middle of the day... My first mistake was that I didn't walk into Stater Brothers. I never knew how good I had it till I really started to cook at home seriously and try different recipes with meat.
