Hair in cut fruit produce it was grey and long! Disgusting, makes me question how clean they truly are in the back.

No reason not to be able to ring these up at the sale price. Laziness, I assume.

I went to Albertsons for the $5 Friday sale on Top Ramen. I grabbed a couple of cases since they were out of singles, and it's easier to store them that way. I asked a lady at self-checkout if she could help me ring them up. She said I could only do the chicken flavor that way. That didn't make sense, so I decided to go through a lane and double-check with another employee. That guy (Pat) said no to both. I told him the lady at self-checkout said I could do it for the chicken, so he had to go track her down to ask her. Then he said it has to be 25 or more. I had 36. He rang up 25 and said that was the 25 limit. I asked where it said that, but he couldn't find it. Then he said it had to be in increments of 25. I asked where that was stated. I told him to try ringing up another one just to be sure, and it scanned for 20 cents like I thought. It feels like they just want to argue and lie at every turn. I always make a special trip on Fridays for their $5 sale and usually get burned because they're always out of the items. It seems as though they put a minimum number of sale items out just to get you in the store. Why can't they keep their sale items stocked? Why can't they ring one up from the larger pack and enter the quantity? They can, but don't want to be bothered or don't really want to sell them at the sale price. That ramen was the only reason I went in since my daughter's choir teacher pays out of his own pocket to always have ramen in his room for the choir kids who hang out in his room at lunch. I wanted to help by buying him a bunch. It just makes me mad when they lie and make things up as they go. I'm going to delete their app and never look at their bait and switch "sales" again.

I like so many things about this store - shelves are generally well stocked, good beer selection, fresh produce, friendly checkers - but I finally felt compelled to write a review because of the bakery. I just got my husband's 40th birthday cake here and it was definitely comparable, probably even better, than some of the stand-alone bakeries in the area. They used fresh strawberries for the filling, frosting was not overly sweet and my request for "a beer glass" as the decoration exceeded what I was even envisioning. Oh, and the price was amazing for the quality. I got my older son's cake from here as well and I'm pretty sure all my future cake orders will be from here too. It's a hidden gem!

This review is dedicated to the bakery department. Thank you ladies for going above and beyond with creativity with making a dessert so special and tasty. I recommend everyone getting their specialty cakes here. Here's a picture of my daughters recent Halloween Birthday cake.

Corsage for my son's date, absolutely stunning and those little diamonds are everything.

I am a frequent shopper here and have been sooooooo impressed with the quality of the cakes here. I have had special orders and they have been fabulous. I was recently referred her to have them do a boutineer and a corsage for my son and his girlfriend and then I had another corsage made for my daughter from her brother. THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! And...the price was fabulous. $25 for each corsage and $10 for the boutineer. So beyond impressed with how beautiful they turned out for that price. I will return for every single prom and dance for my kids. The florist was so so so nice to me as was the person who helped me pick them up after hours. A+ service from beginning to end.

If you haven't tried the Caribbean Bean Salad yet, start there. It's so good. I usually grab a bag of tortilla chips to go with it, but it's equally good with plantain chips. Their Kale & White Bean Salad is another favorite, and I haven't had a fresh juice there that I didn't enjoy. Surprisingly, their matcha is pretty solid too. The store has a great selection overall and feels like the closest thing Oceanside has to a Whole Foods. I find myself stopping in at least once a week for meal prep ingredients, snacks, or something from the deli case. The reason I'm landing at 4 stars instead of 5 is mostly the location. There's almost always something interesting happening outside, and it's not uncommon to see police activity nearby. Also, if you order a fresh juice or hot drink, don't expect it to come out lightning fast. They definitely take their time. That said, those are pretty minor complaints. The quality of the food, produce, and prepared items keeps me coming back. All in all, it's a great neighborhood market with plenty of healthy options and some hidden gems if you're willing to explore a little.

I like their deli selection as it's a higher quality than Albertsons, but I like Albertsons deli items (hot and cold) more. Ralphs has better cheeses. Seafood is standard quality, though more limited. Same with their butcher offerings. I often have to custom order oxtails, picana cuts as they don't stock as much as you'd expect. We sat outside, soaking up the sunshine with boats cruising by -- hard to beat that Oceanside vibe. Food I ordered the coconut shrimp, which were crispy, golden, and lightly sweet, paired with a tangy dipping sauce that balanced everything nicely. The plate came with French fries, coleslaw, and hush puppies, and honestly, the sides were a pleasant surprise. The fries were hot and crunchy -- classic and satisfying. The coleslaw was fresh and creamy, not overly sweet, and worked well as a contrast to the fried seafood. The hush puppies were warm, slightly crisp on the outside, and soft inside -- easy to snack on while enjoying the view. Portions were generous and perfect for a relaxed midday meal. Service & Atmosphere Service was friendly and laid-back, matching the beachy atmosphere. Joe's is clearly about casual fun rather than fine dining, and it delivers on that front with a lively, family-friendly feel. Overall Great location, solid seafood, and a well-rounded plate with tasty sides. The coconut shrimp with fries, coleslaw, and hush puppies made for an easy, enjoyable lunch that paired perfectly with sunshine and ocean air. Would definitely come back for another casual waterfront meal.

My debit card slipped out of the receipt and I didn't realize it until we had already left the store and started to load our groceries into the car. It was then that we realized the debit card was missing. We retraced our steps but it was nowhere to be found. Next we went back to Anita to see if we had left our debit card near the checkout lane. She didn't see any card, so we went to the customer service counter. I explained that I had lost my debit card and asked if anyone turned it in. I was already on the phone ready to cancel my card with the bank. She did not see it so that employee called to another team member to see if anyone had turned it in. Luckily, that person said yes - that they found the debit card on the floor near the checkout lane and that another employee turned it in. I identified my name and what the card looked like - and cannot express my gratitude for the honesty and action of all the team members. We were about to leave town and would not have had access to our bank account - had I cancelled that card. I don't know all the names of the people who were involved - but I wanted to shout out a HUGE thank you for what you all did. If you contact me, I would be happy to give you three months of free veterinary concierge service to you - as a small gesture of our appreciation for what you did today. Additionally, their sushi, smoothie bar and pre-made foods are top notch - they are MILES ahead of any of the "big" grocery stores. So the question is - if they are so great, why do they only have 4 stars on Yelp? One major reason is that they stretch their products. If you don't check the expiration date on every product you purchase, you will end up buying something months after it expired. I purchased a Brie-en-croute on sale for Super Bowl. I was so excited to try it. When I opened the box, the product had mold all over it. I looked at the expiration date and it was not supposed to expire for another week. Then I looked more closely. They had an expiration sticker that was on the box that had already passed, and then they put another sticker on top of that one with a different expiration date. That's not accidental - that's intentional. I definitely felt taken advantage of. Is it enough to make me stop shopping at Frazier Farms? Absolutely not. But, if this grocery outlet wants to improve, they need to look into why so many products on the shelves are expired. I understand not wanting to waste things. But you can't put new stickers on top of old stickers while selling a moldy product. I hope someone in management reads this review, and takes it seriously. I don't have time to go back to Fraziers every time I have to return an expired product. If that changes, I will change this review to 5 stars.
