TJs carries their own brand that cannot be found in other stores. Their produce, dairy, bread, meats are primarily organic grown/made. The most sought-after item is their TOTE BAGS! They are made of denim, good for taking your lunch or snacks. It has an outer pocket and different color straps/handle. When they are released, there is a limit of four per customer. Be prepared to wait in line, but do not delay, they are guaranteed to sell out. The employees are the nicest and most friendliest of all grocery stores I have ever been you. It's easy to see they "like" their job and value the customers. You can buy flowers, ready made salads, canned and frozen foods, cookies, ice cream, and greeting cards at a bargain price, etc. The infamous TWO BUCK CHUCK wine is now three dollars, still a good value. On this visit I was pleasantly surprised to see Pumpkin Wine! I chilled it at home, it tastes like spiced cider. Customer service? What customer service?…read more The meat department employee, Devan, was openly rude, argumentative, and seemed personally offended when I wanted to make my own selection. Apparently, customers are expected to accept his choices without question. If you disagree or ask for something different, be prepared for him to raise his voice and challenge you. God forbid a paying customer wants to choose her own steak! What is even more disappointing is management's apparent unwillingness to address this behavior. Poor service is one thing; tolerating an employee who speaks to customers this way is another. There are plenty of better options in the neighborhood where customers can purchase quality meat while being treated with basic dignity and respect. No one should have to settle for subpar products, rude service, and employees who appear to lack both proper training and professionalism.

So I decided to pop in to get a few essentials that I needed. I got a couple of bananas, a dozen eggs, saltine crackers, and a rotisserie chicken that I wanted to try since it was Rosemary and Garlic on it. The supermarket itself seemed pretty organized and the shelves were stocked with a lot of products. The checkout though had only two staff members and the line was a little long. But overall the employees were super nice. They should maybe have one more clerk on hand. The chicken was tasty as well!

Felicia was busy putting out fruit trays, and I saw an employee behind the fruit counter shopping up fruit, he was so busy too. I asked are you out of corn ?. Felecia said we have a big stand in the front of the store and I said oh we never saw the stand of corn. Felecia said I have a BIG Fresh box in the back and I will bring it out for you. Felicia didn't just bring the box of corn out and place it in the Ben, she brought it to us on a big cart and Sette pick what you want.
