VERY clean store. Ladies behind the deli counter were helpful. The older lady was very helpful. My wife ordered a 50 piece box of chicken for my son's birthday yesterday and it wasn't supposed to be ready until 3:30 pm. I showed up about 3:05 pm and she told me that it still had 25 minutes to go. So she says, "I'll tell you what. Go pay for it, and MAYBE, by the time you come back, it'll be ready." So I go pay for it and was back to the deli counter by 3:15 pm. Guess what? It was ready! So this lady, I wish I could remember her name takes her customer service up a notch and then advises me to "not trust the cardboard box and to hold it from the bottom instead of the handles because although they are very sturdy, they sometimes have the nasty habit of opening up from the bottom when you grab it from the handles and then you'll come back and tell me that all your chicken fell out and unfortunately, there's not a lot we can do once you leave the store." I thought this was very cool of her to tell me because even though it was something little, it prevented me from making that mistake. read more

Buyer beware!! I went to the store this morning and found that the swai fillet that they were advertise on the BIG BOOK OF SAVING for $6.99 was scan $7.99 so make sure that you checked the price before you left the store otherwise you will be over pay for it. I was wondering if there were anythingelse that thay over charge customers. read more

I wish I can give this store NO stars. Every single time I think I should stop by this store I instantly regret it. This is the third time I've gone and something I need (the same item) has had an expiration date before the days date. I'm all for buying something and using it a few days past expiration if I have to. But I don't want to buy products that have a past expiration date. The time before I told the worker and he said they just checked...but ALL of what I needed had an expiration of a week or more prior. That item was on sale so I had to buy a different brand that was $4-$5 more because what I needed was expired... Tonight I went and what I needed was again on sale, and AGAIN expired. Everything else, like the times prior were a few dollars more. I wouldn't mind spending more if I decided on that brand, but I had to do so because the products I needed were expired ZERO stars! read more

Had so much confusion on how to use the Albertsons app. But used it today and again needed help. Think the app is purposely confusing but that's besides the point. I had some questions on how to use the "Just For U" discounts and rebates. Thankfully the cashier and manager where beyond helpful and patient (I was frustrated) . Huge store. Great prices. They have the brand of dog food I like. The only negative thing I've found is they don't seem to carry much champagne. Other than that, I have nothing to complain about. Service is great, workers are friendly, and on a good day, they will crack a joke and have you laughing! Seriously though, get some champagne! read more

I like Albertsons in general. This one... I was disappointed with one of their employees. I walked up to the bakery department, there was one girl cleaning the door behind the counter. (Assuming it's in the evening, maybe she's cleaning to go home). She had a spray bottle in one hand, and paper towel in the other (I didn't care) Since she was the only one, I asked her my question. She answered, and continued to work, (again, I didn't care, she didn't approach me and continued to work). I asked another question, she answered and continued to work. Hmmm, I still don't care, BUT... you think I can have some type of service? Or, have HER come up to me for a little help? You see that I'm an annoying little customer, that needs help and is asking questions. Can you be a little courteous and walk up towards me? So, after she answers my 3rd question. I said that I wanted to purchase the cake I was inquiring about. Now, she walks towards the back to grab another paper towel to wipe her hands off. While right next to it, there is a sink. Shouldn't she wash her hands, THEN dry them? NO! that didn't happen. Then, I realized, shouldn't she have worn some type of gloves? NO! that was not the case either. NOW, I CARE! Now, I'm annoyed! Sooo, she grabbed those cardboard flat cake holders, (not sure what that's called) and started to put the box together and she build it inside out! At this point, I'm really REALLY annoyed and I didn't want to say a word to her. I just had an argument with her in my head. PRICE GOUGING!!!! I went here on Christmas Eve to buy food for Christmas dinner...luckily I had all of my other shopping done already. They had cheapo window decorations (which I already purchased at Target for $6) for $50!!! They also had kids books that normal go for less than $15 for $35!!!! Way to take advantage! So I've been coming to this store for over ten years. Usually for their fried chicken. And although they have never had pricing signs in their deli, they say they offer 4 pieces of chicken for $4.99, which is what I get. Today however, they wanted 7 dollars and change. When asked, they said it is leg, thigh, wing & breast. If I was getting 2 legs & 2 thighs, I was being charged wrong. No prices posted, and no you can't have the food you want, And they wonder why they are going out of business. read more

Large cold case section with various easy and quick lunch selections, cut fruit and veggie options. Starbucks is at this location.I have been here several times over the last 6 weeks. My first interaction with a cashier was not that great. She was a bit snooty. I gave her my Kroger card, not knowing that Albertsons stopped using them. She could have been a bit nicer. But other than that produce is fresh, bakery is good, deli has hot foods, and I like the selection of groceries here. I was happy to find aloe water in coconut and pineapple in the hispanic food aisle. Winning! read more

This used to be our go-to store. Since the change in management, there's nothing but ridiculously long lines. They took away the self-checkout, which only adds to the problem. They need to make serious changes. I don't recommend shopping here. read more

This a great store with everything you need, full service. They have Starbucks and a pharmacy as well. Very clean . Love the fresh seafood selection. I just noticed in the deli area a nice selection of fresh , pre -cur veggies and stuffed mushrooms which look yummy. Good deal if you are crunched for time. This would be good fast food. read more

This is one of the cleanest, best stocked grocery stores I've seen. They seem to have everything you might night and a wonderful produce, deli, and meat section. The set up makes the store have an elegant feel, and the best part is the captain Morgan pirate ship in the liquor section. This is a beautiful store all in all. read more

I love how this store took down the 3's a crowd signs. Yesterday was the last time I'll shop there. Eveytime I do their's a line 5 or more deep. Do they open more registers NOPE. So yesterday 1-9-18 I was in line with 7 other people. The cashier called for help. I thought coll they will open another register. NOPE. She called to get him to bag. Only after seeing people not happy she sent him to another register. I ask the cashier what was the deal and he told me they have to pay more when on a register. This store manager needs to get his head out of his A$. And start opening up more lines. Thnaks God for Vons in San Dimas. Great people over at that one. read more

If you don't mind crowded aisles, due to multiple marketing boxes which makes the shopping experience feel like the freeway at rush hour, long lines at the check out (average 10 minutes) and a long wait at the deli, then shop here. Otherwise, it's time to find a new store. The shopping experience is only getting worse. Really disappointing because this used to be a great place to shop. Might as well shop at Walmart at least it is easy to get your shopping done because the aisles are wide enough to get around other shoppers while they shop! Probably cheaper too! read more

I left the city of San Bernardino to San Dimas to be around a better environment. Just left Albertsons and did not like the service that was given from the cashier, Gina S. The customer in front of my boyfriend and I was an older lady, she had swiped her card three times & Gina S. didn't bother to help/tell the lady if she had a chip on her debit card that it needed to be inserted. Instead, my boyfriend did a good deed & helped the lady out while Gina S just stood there. My boyfriend and I were next in line, & Gina S had no customer service - there was no, "Hello, how are you today?", nothing. And the way Gina S had packed our groceries was horrible, I had to repack the bag that way the eggs didn't go to waste. Overall, we did not like the service given by Gina S. & we hope this issue gets resolved. read more

I'm checking out at Albertson's San Dimas, the checker did a great job bagging my things as he scanned them, I put all my bags in the cart while 3 employees probably "supervisors" stood behind me at the self check out chit chatting. I know they saw me. They didn't come over to help or call for help so on my way out I TOLD THEM, "I just put all my bags in the cart myself while the 3 of you just stood here" they would not look at me, one of them said "sorry" under his breath.. read more

Albertson's is hands down my most favorite store to buy meat and fruit from just yesterday I was there and they had medium size bags of crab legs for 8.49 and steaks for 2.89 which was a great deal, as far as fruit I usually buy the fresh cut fruit they have three containers for $10 and I buy the pineapples and the cantaloupe and watermelon. The store is clean and the staff are very helpful and professional I most definitely will be coming back to this store. read more

I'll start with the good: This place is really clean and they are usually pretty well stocked. Only a couple of times have I found them to be out of something I am looking for. Now off to the bad: The lines are insane! Every. Single. Time. There has not been one time where I don't have to wait behind at least three people. They are understaffed in the cashier department. They also took away the self check out lanes which used to be so convenient. And not this is the fault of Albertson's, per say, but they changed debit/credit card machines. The ones recently installed take forever to process payment. That doesn't help with the long lines situation. Please hire more cashiers!! This is a joke! I go there out of convenience because it is ridiculously close to where I live, but i'm honestly thinking of finding a new store. read more

It's HUGE and there is a huge selection of everything. I have a hard time dealing with the endless selection so it's not the best fit for me. But they closed Ralphs on Arrow and so I don't have much of a choice. I gave it 3 stars because it is ridiculously over priced and the employees are non existent in the aisles and if you do see one, they aren't particularly friendly. read more

This place gets three stars as far as prices go, which unless you keep a good eye on sales and ads, can be pretty steep. As far as meat and produce go though it's five stars all the way. Great butcher counter, fresh seafood with good variety (they stock thresher shark pretty often, my personal favorite). It's a really well stocked store all around actually, produce and international products in particular. The bakery is top notch, as is the deli. It really is just the prices that keep it from becoming my default grocery store. read more

This store has everything you could ever need. Their employees are very friendly and helpful should I ever need to ask for something. They have a good pharmacy, a bakery from which we buy our birthday cakes. Good wine and beer selection and everything to good prices. This is our main shopping store and when comparing prices they beat Vons. read more

Stopped in to get some lunch and visit the US Bank branch inside. Was quite pleasantly surprised at the deli section with all the prepared foods. I was able to quickly find something suitable and a nice cold beverage. The prices of the "boxed" lunches is a couple dollars cheaper than what I see at my grocery stores in the SF Bay Area and has more food. Drove over to Pioneer Park and settled in for my lunch - had a very nice time people watching. My food was fresh and tasty. read more

I love Albertsons. Their deli meats, rotisserie chicken, warm, fresh bread and veggies make me come back over and over again. Oh, and their honey wings are soooo good! I have never come in here and had a bad experience. They have even donated a gift card to my son's Pop Warner team when I was a team mom.
