I went here for breakfast and this place never disappoints. Heiu was our waiter and was so attentive! We did pay the additional fee to add on the light nights which included pastries like cinnamon dollar biscuits, danishes, and Yorgut. I did notice they raised the prices for this it is now 28$ this price includes an entree and the enhancements. The shrimp and grits were delicious! For some reason I wasn't to impressed by the coffee it was just okay. The restaurant is beautiful and spacious! I have not ate her for lunch or dinner but I give breakfast a thumbs up!

Yacht Club's Ale & Compass Make a reservation. At the Disney resorts you never know when they'll be extremely busy, and they also want to be sure guests aren't just trying to get free theme park parking--so it makes sense. Some of the security guards can be a bit brusque, while others are incredibly sweet. We've eaten here three times now. For breakfast, we like ordering with or without the Continental Enhancement, which includes: * Fresh fruit (pineapple, strawberries, and watermelon) * Assorted yogurt parfaits (strawberry or plain) with blueberries, house-made granola, and honey * Assorted breakfast pastries (plain croissants, biscuits with sausage gravy, citrus loaf, and warm cinnamon rolls) * Deviled eggs * Overnight oats served with honey It's $28 and makes the most sense if you're already getting a main dish with meat and a drink--the difference in price is only a few dollars. The main dishes range from $16-$23. Coffee is $4.50 and they'll keep refilling it. Lattes cost a bit more. We both just had regular coffee, and I added a side of milk and honey. I ordered the protein bowl, and by the time I sampled a little of each of the vegetarian items from the Continental Enhancement, I had to take a good portion of my entrée home. It reheated beautifully for dinner that night. My husband had the chocolate-cherry waffles. They're crispy and stay that way. The cherries are dried--just slightly chewy and really flavorful--and the whipped cream is light and fluffy, not wet, so the waffles don't get soggy. We even took one of the waffles home, and it was still very chocolatey and delicious later.

Beautiful restaurant with stellar ambience. All the tables are really well spread out. We got the breakfast with morning brunch and it was so yummy. The mini chocolate chip muffins were the best I'd ever had in my life. The fruit on the buffet looked so perfect it almost seemed polished. Incredibly clean. The service was so/so. The server didn't really come around often or if we asked for something it took a really long time which is why I took off one star. It's a nice play and you expect a nice experience. Overall loved it and think it could be a five star location!!

This was our first time dining at the Disneys Yacht Club Ale and Compass restaurant. It's definitely a top tier experience, to the ambience and of course the food. They also offer a wide variety of specialty drinks. Whether it's a one time visit or frequent visits, it's all definitely worth the splurge. Our waiter was top notch, funny, and very accommodating. We saw the lunch menu which sparked an interest and we will definitely be back to try the fish and chips. We look forward to be back for a more laid back dining experience between our park hopping days to come. If you can get a reservation definitely make one, and enjoy a wonderful meal at the Disney Yacht Club Ale & Compass restaurant.

OMG! So good. Everything we ordered was FABULOUS!!! The crab bisque was so creamy and flavorful with small chunks of blue crab. The mussels were little cakes with a crostini on top. S

I love the ale & compass breakfast. The continental option gives you the ability to get food from a little buffet and also order an entree. The buffet has more than enough to make a whole meal honestly: fruit, yogurt, pastries, deviled eggs, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal. And then the entree is really big too so it's a lot of food but it's all very delicious! And I absolutely love this resort, it's so beautiful and calming

I should have trusted my gut and listened. I wanted to like this place but I did not. I'll also never eat here again, which is fine. There's so many dining options in Disneyworld. Ugh. I visited this place two times while I was here. The service was not that great. Maybe it's just me? but I didn't feel comfortable eating here at all. No one was flat out rude, but the energy and vibe was off. I also tried ordering a meal with the order dining on the app. There was an issue with the kids meal where it would not let me add water (which comes with the meal and clearly says it does), even though you could also then buy a separate water. I don't have this issue ordering on the app in CA, not sure why there is so much technical difficulty with this particular restaurant. But it was also a hassle getting what was rightly paid for. Also, the staff in the front had allowed the mom in front of me to order a kids meals to go in person but then changed the rules for others (including me). I don't agree with that at all. If you allow an order for one, allow it for all. She ordered a kid pasta with no sauce just butter (yes I overhead), and then when asked for the same thing because newsflash Disney a lot of kids like that over the sauce options, you're told no?? and you can only order what's available on the menu of which that app doesn't fully work appropriately?. It's insane. I've never been to a place that's so disorganized with the rules and with training their employees to be so wishy washy. Safe to say I had no appetite after that. And I hate the "rules only apply whenever we feel like it" attitude. Not coming back and food is mediocre so I guess it doesn't matter that much either. Not sure how this place stays in business. There are tons of other better restaurants in Disneyworld with worlds of better service. I will say I did appreciate the chocolate waffles, so if you decide to go you might as well try those out.

Thanks to Shannon we had a fabulous breakfast! She had exceptional guest service and perfect suggestions when we ordered. The $28 enhanced buffet deal is fantastic. You order a full entree and also get the continental buffet. The cheddar cheese biscuits and gravy on the buffet is amazing, that alone is worth the cost. The steak and eggs entree is pretty darn good as the steak is tender and perfectly seasoned. We all enjoyed our entrees and were able to take home the leftovers. Thank you Shannon for making our morning magical! Keep doing what you are doing.

It was my first time trying this restaurant and I was really excited to check it out! My friend invited me and I went with my 4yo daughter. The restaurant is located inside Disney's yacht club and I was instantly charmed by the beautiful lobby and relaxing vibe. We were seated right away, and our server was wonderful and friendly and very attentive. As we checked the menu two dishea caught my eyes: the crab cake and the steak and eggs. I decided to go for steak and eggs (medium rare). While the flavor was good, the steak was unfortunately tough and hard to chew, which was dissapointing. The eggs were nicely done, and the dish came with potatoes, beets and cube ham. The kids menu was a nice surprise! It includes a drink, main dish and two sides. My daughter had apple juice, chicken fingers with mac and cheese and chocolate chip cookie ice cream for dessert. She love everything and ate it all! We were able to use the passholder 40% discount which made it a great deal. I'm glad we had the discount because paying full price for a tough steak would've been a letdown. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I love Disney and spending time with friends.

Wonderful breakfast for the value at Disney! We all did the $28 deal where you have an entree and beverage (coffee, tea, soda) and access to a small continental buffet. There were lots of great entree options, we chose crab cake Benedict, American breakfast, and steak and egg (huge winner from us with the creamy brown butter hollandaise and perfectly cooked steak). The buffet is a huge bonus with fresh fruits, pastries, cinnamon rolls that were packed with flavor and sweet frosting, and biscuits with sausage gravy. I especially enjoyed having the tiny cup of overnight oats with chocolate chips before my entree arrived! The resort has some construction out front so you park and walk over a bridge, would recommend dropping folks up close if they have mobility challenges. This hotel is beautiful and classy with nautical theming and an elegant flair. Would recommend this breakfast for a family wanting a great value and lots of good food. You can't beat these prices compared to most property dining options. Shout out to an amazing waitress Hieu who gave us the true Disney guest experience. She was exceptional. TIP: Definitely book a reservation if possible so you can ensure to have a spot. Sometimes when the resort has an event it can get crowded. This resort is part of the convention center.

Came here for breakfast. They have orange and peach mimosas. I entered in my allergies when making the reservation and they gave allergy menus. The app indicates they have GF Mickey waffles but the menu doesn't show that. I asked the server and she said they can make them. I ordered the American breakfast with no meat and they subbed fruit. My friend's GF waffles were dry - a little overcooked but mine were really good. The eggs and potatoes were well seasoned.

Always a great experience. We had two cheeseburgers meals with buffet, and one shrimp and grits. All were very good. The buffet side dishes like overnight oats, biscuits and gravy and assorted sweet rolls were outstanding. Service is always so nice.

    New England Seafood Pot Pie

Decided to try this restaurant as a first timer, but an annual Disney vacationer, and was not impressed at all with the dinner menu or service. The atmosphere was beautiful and quiet yet lively, but my experience was less than ideal. We had visited the restaurant on the *first* day of a new menu rotation and two of the people in my party had ordered the same item (Roasted chicken breast on the bone), but had been given pieces of chicken instead (a wing, a leg, and a thigh piece) with no "breast" in sight, despite the menu saying otherwise. When they raised a complaint, our waitress made a snide remark, took the plate away and hurried off to the kitchen to correct the mistake. The dish that came back wasn't worth an additional complaint, but the "pieces" had been instead replaced with a grilled chicken cutlet albeit dry. I ordered the seafood pot pie (pictured) after a suggestion from our waitress and can accurately say that the suggestion was incredible! While I wished our experience was a bit different than what we'd had, the food I'd ordered was great but sadly we will not be returning as the rest of my party was less than wowed by it and the service unfortunately did not impress us either.

I got the Hungry Sauce medium and it was super tasty. It was A LOT of food. However, I think the name is a little deceptive. One appetizer, one seafood boil, and one dessert is all you need. I would rename it 3-course-meal. That would be a more accurate description. The place was seafood tacky. Just the ambiance you would expect from a crab shack. Our server was AMAZING. I wish I remembered her name because I would absolutely ask for her again if I go back. My bill for 3 lunches was $205. I don't feel like I got my value for the price. We ate our meals with a paper plate and plastic utensils. Again, for the price, they could give us sturdier eating elements. All in all, it was somewhere I'm glad I experienced just to say I did it. I'm not sure I would return.

We were a bit concerned about the restaurant being our main option due to the bad/mixed reviews of the food. We decided to do a set menu in order to best present to our dinner guests. Just under a week before our reservation, I called the restaurant to talk to someone about arranging a set menu and was told I would have to speak with the manager, but that he was busy at the moment. From then on, I called multiple times and left voicemails that were not returned, or I was told the manager was busy or in meetings. I even went as far as to see if the hotel phone operator could connect me to a direct line, since the manager was apparently the only one who could help. I finally got the manager on the phone 45 minutes before my reservation, after insisting I wait on the line for him to come to the phone. Suffice it to say, he apologized for the delay, explained that he had been off work for several days, and said that 45 minutes was too short a turnaround to organize the set menu for our dinner guests. The biggest problem, whether he was busy, on PTO, or otherwise, is this: Why was no one else on the front-of-house team equipped with the knowledge and skills to finalize a set menu for our dinner? I have planned these types of small dinners and events my entire career, in different cities across the US and with different types of restaurants -- so I am more than a little surprised at how unprofessional or unprepared this restaurant was. I am leaving this review in hopes of helping other event planners avoid a similar issue -- this restaurant may be more accustomed to tourists or typical diners than corporate reservations.

Therefore, we opted for indoor seating and the delightful air conditioning in today's 97 degree heat. The food was very good. The Jamaican jerk chicken wings are seasoned well. This time, they were slightly dry instead of perfect like last time. The grilled chicken with cilantro-crema, mashed potatoes and corn remains my favorite dish on the menu. Ask for a side of the sauce too; it's that good. The cheeseburger and fries was standard and okay but unremarkable, which means it was perfect for my mom who is a picky eater and not adventurous. Pro-Tip: if you are headed somewhere with a refrigerator, order the full portion of the grilled chicken with cilantro-cream and take one breast and some mashed potatoes home for another meal. The full portion is only $3 more than the light version, but comes with a second piece of chicken breast. Otherwise, save the $3 because one breast is plenty filling. You could also consider sharing the full portion plate to save room (and money) for apps or dessert. We chose the flaming pineapple butter cake for dessert. It arrived piled high with pineapples and vanilla ice cream on the side. When the server lit the sauce then poured it, the flames danced. However, not all the alcohol burns off. The cake was saturated and tasted of alcohol where it was poured. Warning: Check your receipt. We were charged $2.99 for trivia games we did not play and $0.50 extra for cheese when the item ordered was a cheeseburger listed as coming with cheese on the menu for $18.99.
