Really nice place! I selected Aleppo because my guest is a vegetarian. Lots of options on the menu for both of us. Maybe Aleppo is Syrian but it advertises as Mediterranean. Same thing I guess. Really nice looking building. We sat inside and enjoyed the view looking out the wall of glass. My guest had their Falafel Lavash Wrap and loved it. Looked good to me too. I think Med food uses a little more yogurt than mayo, which more people should do in my opinion. Make a note of that, whoever is keeping track of such things. Wow. Truly might be the best Mediterranean food I've ever had, I got the chicken wrap and it was actually the most amazing thing I've eaten. The veggie slaw was phenomenal and the fries on the side were perfectly golden and crispy. Their tzatziki and garlic sauce are actually perfect as well. So glad I stumbled upon this gem. I took my mom to Aleppo's last week and this sweet server who I unfortunately forgot her name but had beautiful curly hair served us and was so sweet and was making an effort to talk to us. I got the ribeye shawarma and replaced the fries with salad and it was so good, I ate it in less than 10 minutes. I never had Levantine food like this before and really enjoyed the flavor of the meat. Tasted extra fresh when I added more vegetables to the wrap. Will come again. read more

My water tasted like something I've never tasted before , it was as if it was laden with cleaning agents and wasn't properly rinsed. 2/6 of our waters tasted like this. Let's see, where to start. I went there with a group of 8 people. After being shown our table in the outdoor dining area with the hookah we didn't hear or see anyone for 20 minutes until I finally waived someone down for us to get menus. We were served water that tasted like chlorine, like pool water. Fast forward, after ordering dinner at 6:00. Entrees were coming out randomly with the first plate coming at 6:25 minutes and the last coming at 7:10. 2 of the people with me ordered the same exact plate (lamb kabsa), the first one came at 6:30 and the second one at 7. It took 20 minutes to get a coffee after having to remind them twice. We ended up having to go up to get our own to go boxes for the left over food because we asked 3 people and they all ignored us and didn't bring them. Their compensation for this terrible experience was a 4 cup teapot. Add insult to injury, after dinner we were sitting there hanging out and smoking (in the OUTDOOR area, not in the actual restaurant) we were talking and laughing and having a good time. The owner comes and tells us to keep it down because we were being too loud, and there are table beside us. I have never experienced such an insult at a middle eastern cafe like this. All the tables were talking, laughing, smoking and having a good time. I hang out in Anaheim area a lot at other hookah cafes like this one and they're full of people doing the same thing and enjoying their time without this horrible experience. Go to Cairo, Nubia, el mahroosa instead, if you want to enjoy. They're cheaper, better food, better service and overall environment. Our server was no where to be found, no menus, food was super late, and then we get told to keep it down. Worst experience I've had in my life.... Never going back read more

Drove in from LA with a big group for iftar and was told that if we ordered 2-3 plates of meats, salads, and appetizers that it would be enough. For sure was not enough and had to keep ordering more throughout the night. When we got a dip appetizer plate, we had to ask 4 different people to get bread that was supposed to be served with it. We ordered 2 more chicken plates later on that took over 30 minutes to arrive. Some in our group wanted to smoke hookah so we called ahead of time and they placed us outside. Once we were sat, they then informed us that we couldn't order it until 8:30 (over an hour and a half from our reservation). I will say the cheese borak was very tasty so that was a silver lining. I went to this place for lunch on Saturday around 2 pm with a few friends. Was so much hoping for this place to be great and it has a lot of potential but for time being fell short. They have a pretty good menu although everything seems to be about $1-$2 price to high even for today's prices. I ordered their falafel labash wrap and my friend their chicken panini which she was told that they were out of their ciabatta rolls and can only serve in lavash. Other two friends ordered their salads with grilled chicken. Their salads arrived after about 15 mins but we have to wait another 10-15 mins for our wraps to arrive which was a bit inconvenient since we all wanted to eat together. One other where thing was that the wraps were toasted which was weird My falafel wrap was underseasoned and could have used a bit more salt and I asked for a side of chili sauce but overall it was dry and nothing to write home about.
