I stopped for a charge that is conveniently 100ft from the restaurant. Aleppo's is relatively new to this location. It's very clean and inviting. When you walk in the aroma of seasonings take you by surprise. They have a very nice collection of tea pots and serving dishes. I am not sure if they are for-sale, I don't remember seeing a price tag on anything. It was lunch and I was looking for something quick. Their menu was very eclectic with a variety of pita wraps, salads, and entrees. I selected a falafel wrap plain with the veggies on the side. Most wraps were about 17. And it came with a side of fries. They really only have ketchup as a dip for your fries. They also have a large selection of desserts. The wrap/sandwich was just as I wanted it, just the falafel and the dressing everything else on the side. This was strategic so it wouldn't be messy. It was good but not tasty. The spread was very garlicky and the sandwich without the veggies was only about an inch thick. They really didn't put too much falafel in it. The fries were over cooked but not greasy. If you like crispy fries this is your place. I would like to give this place another opportunity and try a meat dish next time. For now 3.5 would it my rating on the food. The staff they were very nice and inviting. For the location, ambiance and staff I give them a 5 star. read more

Very easy to find and plenty of parking available. Very cute inside with a lot of little decorations including on the table which I liked as it didn't get in the way. My friend and I ordered way too much food, but it was well worth it. Thank you to our server for the extra pita bread (it's all my friend would talk about on our drive). We started with Musabaha (Hummus) Dip, Mama Suher's Yalanji (stuffed grape leaves) and Aleppo Kibbeh. The hummus was good, but nothing special. Our server was raving about it so I was definitely expecting something more, but still very good. I'm picky with my stuffed grape leaves since everyone makes it different and these were really good! The aleppo kibbeh was a bit dry, so I added some hummus on it and it worked very nicely together. There was a lot of flavor to the meat itself. For entrees, we got the Mansaf and the Mixed Kabob Platter. The mansaf was my favorite thing we ate the whole night. The lamb just fell off the bone and was bursting with flavor. The yogurt sauce was a perfect addition and only added to everything. The golden rice was my favorite rice of the night as well. It paired perfectly with the yogurt sauce and the lamb. I would come back just for this dish! The mixed kabob platter was good as well. My favorite meat was the filet mignon then the chicken then the ground beef (which was a bit on the drier side). The rice was mehh. Didn't add or take away from everything else. All in all very good food! The lamb is TO DIE FOR!! If you don't know what to get, I highly recommend it. Isabella was an awesome server and kept the drinks fresh and filled. Brought the food out hot and knew exactly what we needed. Really impressed at a corp lunch. Food was great, restaurant is beautiful and clean. Prices and portions were well aligned but on the high end. 4 people $150 with one shared sampler is higher than most places of similar service and quality. Charging for extra bread was weird. The beet salad is packed with bright beautiful robust flavors, fresh greens, beets, feta, and walnuts, topped with a delicate vinegarette makes for a well rounded salad that can be enjoyed as an entrée or side. The roasted red pepper dip is incredible! We also enjoyed the mixed grill which was juicy and flavorful. Service is attentive and friendly. Our group enjoyed a wonderful meal. Was craving kibbeh nayeh and took a chance on this place. I'm Jordanian and have been making and eating it for decades and came running to yelp to share how good it was. Just the right amount of spices with fresh meat and a touch of spicy. Absolutely perfect. We also tried their fried kibbeh assorted platter and hummus which was also incredible. This time we picked up a to go order but next time we will dine in to try even more. Highly recommend! PS..my husband wants to play cards with you guys! Lol read more

I'm very disappointed by this restaurant. My son and I were celebrating our birthdays and were craving Mediterranean food. We've had Mediterranean food plenty of times at other restaurants. Being that we were in Orange County and looked for a place to eat on yelp. We decided to try it. There were 4 of us, we all ordered something different. It all came out cold and food was horrible bland! Staff walked around looking lost and un attentive. I was so disappointed I had to mention to waitress after we chose to just eat it and never return again. Waitress went to management and sadly they were so unprofessional they chose not to even bother to come to the table and acknowledge us. This is horrible business!!! Definitely do not recommend!! read more

We aren't typically adventurous eaters, but stopped to charge at the Tesla Chargers after our Disneyland vacation. The food is absolutely delicious and so fresh, and the staff was so welcoming. I tried the Turkish Coffee, and it was great too. Highly recommend the chicken and steak kabobs and their kids meal option was perfect for our 3 and 9 year old. Val was very kind and checked on us often. The music and atmosphere were perfect! We will be back! read more

Imma get straight to THE POINT. Food is B O M B. Meat? Falls right off the bone Flavor? An explosion in your mouth of middle eastern cuisine, from the nuttiness of the almonds to juiciness of the meat YUM Salad? Refreshing AS HELL Go for the food because the service was not that great Now I will say I'm pretty sure they were understaffed because I overheard the manager saying good job to the only employee working when no one else came in and not to be overwhelmed. But yeah unfortunately due to that people were waiting AWHILE to even get their food ordered and multiple times we had to literally go search for help Once again I'll say they may have been understaffed but it definitely knocked down a star for my review But honestly places with the shittiest service usually have the best food SO WORTH IT FOR ME read more

Stopped in for a quick lunch last week, was very satisfied with my experience. It was fairly quiet for a weekday, Isabel and the other staff were very attentive and on top of making sure everything was going smoothly. The place has a nice exterior and interior. I came here one night during Ramadan with my family a while back. I don't like how they charge per person instead of per item; it was a bit too pricey. Meet the Business Owner: Nidal H.

Nidal and Suher, a passionate husband and wife team with three boys, are the driving force behind Anaheim's beloved Mediterranean hotspot, Aleppo's Kitchen. Originally from Aleppo, Syria, they fled the civil war in 2012 and brought their love for authentic, fresh, and wholesome cuisine to the United States. With a dedication to community and creating a welcoming environment, Nidal and Suher hand-built a restaurant that embodies the warmth and hospitality of their culture. Yes everyday, the weekends are the busiest. You might have to call 5-6 times cause the line might be busy and or just off as they start in the afternoon. The last few years its been around $27 or so.

Someone nearby us had a birthday, and a group of staff came out with a dessert, blasting a traditional birthday song over the speakers and encouraged the whole restaurant to clap along! Despite the large gatherings, the restaurant is a no-reservation spot. They have a covered patio outside to seat an overflow of customers in case. Thankfully, my boyfriend and I were seated right away. They had a contactless menu, and we scanned a QR code to check our food options, but a server took our order and offered great recommendations once we waved him down. I would love to come back and try other dishes, like their grilled chicken or lamb--as well as the desserts and teas !!

Funny enough if I had one note it would be that you couldn't cut the steak with the steak knives... because the steak knives were a little dull and not serrated. BUT we discovered you could easily cut the steak with a butter knife - that's how tender it was. Honestly while the food was great, the people who work here are the real sell. Easily one of the best Middle Eastern resterants out there! We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming staff. Although interior was tastefully decorated, we chose to sit on large patio as it was a warm evening. For starters, we ordered the plate of olives and pickled turnips and the fetoush salad. The salad dressing tasted like a very flavorful balsamic vinaigrette; salad was sprinkled with sumac for a refreshing tartness, and the pieces of pita chips gave it a nice crunch. The entrées we ordered were the vegetarian plate and the kebab plate. Veggie plate featured mutabal (roasted mashed eggplant mixed with tahini, garlic and lemon); hummus, stuffed grape leaves, falafel and tabouli. Each item was delicious and as authentic as Arabic food gets. I'd never had donut-shaped falafel, or ones that are coated with sesame seeds. They were crunchy on the outside and satisfying to the taste buds. The tabouli was authentic and fresh, with the flavors of mint and parsley coming through the dressing that wasn't too heavy on the lemon. The rice-stuffed grape leaves were perhaps the most unique item, with pomegranate juice adding a slightly sweet and savory flavor. The kabob plate featured kiftah, the cigar-shaped, seasoned ground beef kabobs. Not sure what all the spices were, but these were very nicely seasoned and tasty. The beef and chicken kabobs also were seasoned very well and delicious. The plate included a large helping of white rice topped with toasted sliced almonds, grilled tomatoes and onions. We also tried the freekah (roasted whole green wheat kernels) with lamb shoulder - this is a special the restaurant features on Saturday nights.This dish was absolutely wonderful! Coming from a Palestinian family where I ate this dish a lot, Aleppo's version was homemade, authentic and delicious. My regret is that we didn't try the kibbeh, which is cracked wheat filled with meat, but there's always next time. This dish is apparently a specialty in Aleppo, and the owner, a recent immigrant from Syria, described all the varieties they offer, from fried cigar-shaped fritters to a baked dish and even one where the fritters are grilled. You can see and taste the pride and care taken in the preparation of the food by the family owners/chef; definitely recommend it. read more

This place sucks. The owner is just money hungry and doesn't care about his customers when you ask to speak to the owner they hang up the phone in your face. Pathetic. They charge $20 minimum for all plates and give you super small portions and the rice always has weird little black dots in it is it bugs or rat poop? It's disgusting and its definitely not "pepper flakes" as the owner claims it is. Nice try buddy. It's also super funny now that I wrote my review the owner magically appears and has time to talk to me and give me major attitude but before when I was trying to speak to him I was ignored and hung up on. And for their to go order wow don't even waste your money. They give you the oldest crappiest food and pack it super tight so you won't even notice until you get home. I drove 2 hours to get food to go and of course I thought they cared so I trusted them and didn't open my food I wish I did check it because when I got home I was disgusted. It smelled so bad like it was sitting in the sun for 1 week. I'm Arabic born and raised in the Middle East so I no what REAL warak enab and kousa mashi are supposed to look and taste like and this place SUCKS. They give you old small pieces basically laughing in your face. Terrible excuse for a restaurant. The owner just wants your money and that's it. In a time like this when most of the country isn't working this is just sad and I reported them to the health department and BBB. Don't bother coming here it's dirty, and the biggest waste of money. They should be ashamed. I recently dined at this Middle Eastern restaurant and would like to provide some feedback on my experience. The food was ok but not the great and It was pricey for the portions we got. I encountered some issues with the service and staff behavior that I feel need to be addressed. Unfortunately, the service during my visit was quite slow and the restaurant was kind of empty. It took longer than expected to receive both our drinks and our food. This significantly impacted our overall dining experience. I also found that the staff were not as friendly as I had hoped. Their demeanor came across as somewhat unfriendly, which detracted from the welcoming atmosphere that I had anticipated. One specific instance that stood out was when I asked a server for a replacement of the rice portion with tabulee on the menu, and they seemed disinterested in assisting me and I got a could shoulder that they cant make any changes and instead of rice they can give me a regular salad. This lack of attentiveness made me feel somewhat ignored as a customer. Overall, while I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant, the slow service and unfriendly staff behavior were disappointing aspects of my visit. Also, my party and I selected a table, only to be informed by a member of your staff that it was reserved. However, throughout our meal, no one arrived to claim the table, and it remained unoccupied. This situation left us feeling somewhat perplexed and inconvenienced, as it seemed that the table was not genuinely reserved. As a customer, I value transparency and efficiency in the reservation process. While I understand that mistakes can happen, I believe that clear communication and accurate management of reservations are essential to providing a positive dining experience. This place is honestly just phenomenal. My friend is Syrian and insisted we try it, and wow, was he was right--everything here is wonderful! Beyond the taste, the food is a total feast for your eyes. The decor is so lovely, and the dishes are vibrant, colourful, and just look incredibly fresh. Nothing feels oily or heavy at all, just bright and punchy with flavor. My husband and I brought the family for a Mother's Day lunch, and we were so pleasantly surprised that it was such a relaxed, fantastic location with zero fuss and no crazy crowds. The servers were genuinely attentive and even went out of their way to set up a spot for us to sit outside. We kicked things off with the dip trio and the fried halloumi, and it was all so incredibly delicious. The trio--hummus, muhammara, and mutabbal--was SO yummy, especially since they bring out that perfect, warm, pillowy pita for dipping. The halloumi was a standout too; it had this slightly nutty taste and was served with fresh watermelon, mint, and peppery arugula. Honestly, such a genius combination. For the mains, we went with the mixed platters. The meats were spot on--the filet mignon was unbelievably tender and melt-in-your-mouth, and the chicken was super moist and well-seasoned. I had the lamb wrap, which was packed with tender, fall-apart lamb tucked into lavash with crunchy pickles. The great surprise were the mocktails (they do not serve alcohol here, heads up - so don't complain) - I had the bourbon, which you would never know was alcohol free. Tastes just like an elevated old fashioned with date syrup. They also have homemade Ayran (savoury yogurt type drink). Tonight, we had dinner at Aleppo's Kitchen and overall, it was a solid experience. The ambiance was cozy, with a nice, casual vibe that made us feel right at home. We started with the falafel appetizer, which was crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. Great flavor, but it could have used a bit more seasoning for that extra kick. For the main course, I had the chicken kabab, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was juicy, tender, and beautifully grilled, with a nice smoky flavor. Paired with some warm, fluffy pita, it was satisfying and filling. My companion went for the chicken salad, which had fresh veggies and a tangy dressing. Simple, but refreshing! We also ordered the mint drink, which was super refreshing - a perfect balance of sweet and minty without being overpowering. It was a great way to cool down with the heat of the kabab. Finally, the signature Dubai chocolate dessert was a treat! Rich, decadent, and indulgent - definitely a highlight of the meal. How is this place in business ?? Lol I don't understand they're food is disgusting I can see they're taking advantage of the customers since everything is only to go now. Whatever they don't sell from the night before thy save and sell the next day. Really guys ? I got so sick from their old nasty food. How dare you play with my health. And In a time where most of America is not working and people to choose to spend their money here you would think they would care about the customers. THEY DONT. and when I called asking to speak to the owner or at least a manager I got yelled at, laughed at, and hung up on. I can see from other reviews he does that a lot. Absolutely disrespectful and I will be reporting them to the health department as soon as I stop throwing up their pathetic excuse for food.
