He replied promptly. During our communication, Renzo's clarity, persistence, knowledge and patience impressed and persuaded me, not to mention his very reasonable quote. Instinctively I knew I could trust Renzo and he is the right guy for my project, even though I haven't met him.  So I waited a month and hired him. The wait was worth it. They built three walls and one patio, redesigned front left yard by grading and building a new pebble pathway with statue, installed lighting and irrigation system that had better dripping rings. They also revamped the driveway that made it look brand new and pebble-covered the right front yard.  It was truly a remarkable experience. Not only they did an excellent job with fine craftmanship, but their punctuality, hardwork, efficiency, know-how, discipline, organization, respect, kindness and neatness were a force to be reckoned with and an inspiration beyond a mere landscaping job. They take pride at what they do and the result is phenomenal! Before and during the three-week construction, Renzo was very respectful and made me feel my opinion matters. I received seven or eight estimates before choosing Antonio. His pricing was competitive, but more importantly, he came across as the most genuine and honest person I spoke with. He was also incredibly responsive from the very beginning, which I really appreciated. Throughout the entire project, Antonio communicated well, showed up when he said he would, and stayed focused on the job while he was here. You can tell he takes pride in his work and wants to finish each project correctly and on time. The preparation was thorough, the base was compacted very well, the rebar work was done properly, and he used very high-quality concrete. The finished concrete work turned out beautifully and felt extremely durable. We did run into a small issue after the project was completed. It was somewhat of a gray area as to whether it was actually an issue, but when I reached back out, Antonio responded immediately and came over to take a look. He was completely willing to help make things right. He didn't want to accept it, but I still compensated him for the additional time and work. The way he handled the situation earned even more of my respect. He knows his plants and hardscape, pays attention to every detail, and manages his crew with great efficiency. The crew worked as hard as any I've ever seen, and they did everything--digging out enormous tree roots, setting flagstone for our patio, installing irrigation and lighting, moving boulders--you name it. They showed up every day and even worked several Saturdays to get the job finished on time and before we had to travel. These guys were terrific, and I can't thank them enough for the tremendous effort they put into both the demolition and the complete recreation of our backyard. Marcus, the office manager, was also great to work with. I would have been better off hiring men from Home Depot. Totally unprofessional, rushed the job, ruined a couple of plants and didn't give a shit how it looked, even after I showed the owner the damaged plants and all the broken branches only to find more as the branches dried out in the weeks to come. He tells me the plants are delicate, but yet they didn't treat them that way. I will never hire this unprofessional company again and recommend that you don't hire them either. They have plenty of help to do a good job, but refuse to do so. This was a total rip off job to the tune of $500.
