I LOVE this place. I eat here about once or twice a week on a regular basis. The people are super friendly, the price is reasonable (considering how much food you get), and the food... Eeekk! It's THE BOMB. Fresh made from scratch, huge portions, and great flavor. I've never ordered a meal from here and been able to finish it. The slices of pizza are bigger than my 5 year olds head! This is my favorite pizza delivery place in the area. The delivery is always fast and super friendly. The pizza arrives hot and with lots of toppings. I rarely write reviews. Only when I really like a place. Alfredo's is great. Their pizza has an awesome thin crispy crust. It's not all hard, crunchy, and over cooked; just perfectly crispy. The outer crust is very soft as well. They use great ingredients too. Have an awesome take on a margarita pizza, a buffalo chicken pizza with ranch, and a bbq chicken pizza with caramelized onions. Very tasty food. However, on occasions like tonight, I've had to call and cancel my delivery order. I ordered food over 75 minutes ago, and I called the kitchen to check-in. I was instructed that my food hadn't left the facility yet, but that they believed it should go out for delivery soon. I did not receive a any warning of a wait this long, and now will have to change my plans for the evening. I've also felt like their drivers were a little rough around the edges. read more

I just placed an order from the Slice app. Under special instructions I asked for a side of Parmesan cheese which they did not bring. My boyfriend called to ask them to bring it and the guy refused. We order from them ALL the time. He said we should have called after ordering to request it. Also said no way would he send a driver back out for a .5O cent item. Solid pizza-- not the kind you dream about, necessarily, but really good and a nice crust that's on the thin side rather than like a breadstick. The portion sizes for the price are fantastic. We have ordered from Alfredo's about once a month since we moved to Somerville a year ago. It really scratches the junk food itch (mozz sticks, spicy curly fries, pizza, wings, etc) and we've generally had positive experiences with delivery via online ordering. Today, we were crushingly disappointed by their service. We ordered through grubhub and got an update text that our food was on the way right during our delivery window. When it didn't arrive 30 minutes after that, we tried to call grubhub (on hold due to unusually high call volume) so we called the restaurant directly and were assured that our food had left for delivery and would be here in any minute. Three hours after our order and two hours after it was due to arrive, we contacted grubhub and ended up getting a refund and $10 credit. Our food NEVER showed up. Alfredo's left us feeling so hungry and sad. read more

This is a neighborhood favorite establishment in a neighborhood with no shortage of italian pizza and sub shops. Quick turnaround for take out. Most of their dishes will last you for two meals. Personal favorites are the steak bomb sub and buffalo chicken pizza. read more

I order from Alfredo's ALL THE TIME. Everything I've ever ordered has been fantastic. Buffalo Chicken Wrap, Caprese Salad, and Pasta sicilina are my frequent go to dishes. Every meal is ample enough for 2 people. Today I ordered pizza from them for the first time for my office... everyone gave it a rave review and the boxes were empty in 10 minutes. We got: Meat lovers (the favorite), the bianca, the margherita, and a CYO. The toppings were more than generous and the sauces and bread were delicious. This place used to be amazing, but lately it is not worth it at all. I ordered: Steak garden salad $11.50 Steak bomb $9.00 Mozzarella sticks 8.99 I specifically ask them to make sure that the Mozzarella Sticks were fully cooked, because last time they were undercooked. Guess what, the cheese was solid and undercook again. The Steak in salad was cold and very chewy. The steak and cheese was dripping with oil to the point I had to eat the steak without the bread it was so soaked with oil. Dinner with tip cost me $38 and it was a complete rip off. I don't know what happened to this place it used to have the best food and now I would not let my dog eat. Never ordering there again. read more

I ordered a pizza, and received a box with cooked pizza dough and a pile of toppings, cheese, and sauce soaking through the corner of the box. None of the toppings were on the actual pizza. I called to try to get another pizza or a refund, and they said no because "I call and make the same complaint all the time." They didn't seem to remember that I had received a 25% off discount for being a first time customer...so hard to imagine that I've made that complaint all the time. Bad food, bad service, and the management will lie if you complain. I wouldn't recommend ordering from here. read more

If you had asked me three days ago whether this place had good food and service, I would have said a resounding YES! Two evenings ago I ordered a large pizza - it's really not bad! - and "Alfredo Style With Linguini Or Ziti ($7.99) With Creamy Alfredo sauce With Chicken ($11.00)." I often order more that I will eat that night and save certain items for later. I put the Alfredo in the refrigerator. I took out the Alfredo this evening to heat it up and discovered that there was broccoli in it - you will note that there's no mention of this on the menu - to which I am allergic. When I called Alfredo's and spoke with, I guess, the manager, I was told that I should have called the night I ordered and that he would have trouble explaining giving "free food" to someone to the "owner." Hardly good customer service, and, frankly, rather rude. Free food?? Did I not pay for something I didn't get??? read more

I just found this place a few weeks ago, and I am glad I did. The people on the phone taking the orders are very thorough and courteous. Their pizza is delicious, and they are one of the few places that have good salads. The Caprese salad with oil and vinegar dressing is to die for! Ok, lets start it explaining, I think someone from the first floor of my house ordered food from Alfredo´s and he didnt give a Tips for the Driver, but anyway they should treat everyone equal, yesterday i was with a friend in my house, i live in second floor, and she ordered a cheese pizza and a 2 L Coke, like 9:14 PM, and they ask like 45 min, sounds reasonable , but when the clock hit 1 hour, she called them back , they said the said the driver already left, so we still waiting, so more 10 min she called again and the same answer, the driver came here like 10:30 with cold pizza, and to make things worst, a hot 2L SODA, i didnt see that in the first time, even he took more than 1 hour, i gave 5 bucks for driver, i live 5 min from Alfredo´s, when i opened the pizza i almost called them back, but thats ok, i hope they read this comment and make some changes. read more

Ordered from here tonight via Eat24 delivery service. Eat24 called me almost 75 minutes after I placed the order to tell me that Alfredo's is unable to complete my order and is not accepting online orders this evening. I ended up placing an order from another restaurant (not through Eat24). Both drivers showed up at the same time. Not sure who is to blame here for the mix up - Eat24 or Alfredo's. Alfredo's still took 90 minutes to deliver the food which is unacceptable. Eat24 should have cancelled the order much sooner. read more

Unfortunately we used Alfredo's from their opening and never had any food issues, mistakes on delivery or even a hiccup--until this. Ordered chicken salad sub (other appetizers also) and upon first bite of sandwich, I noticed a funny taste. Tasted sour, beyond bad. I contacted Alfredo's who told me that they served the wrong batch from day prior and "hopefully you didn't eat it". At least they were honest so I wasn't completely upset by this as they delivered new order later on. I never wanted to give up on Alfredo's but we had another delivery come to house last week and my parents received a bad chicken sandwich. I didn't call because this is a major problem obviously and will stop using immediately. Too bad considering they have delivered to my home over 100 times, but enough is enough. It's still pretty damn good for the price, but the sausage parm isn't great (sausage is too smoothly textured) and the gnocchi is pretty pasty and leaden. But nobody orders from here looking for a delicate touch - just get the ziti instead. read more
