This is a review from the heart. My car had hit a curb and a bad smell was coming out of it. I was scared if the engine is okay. I was referred to this place by a colleague of mine. It's really nice to know a mechanic that you can trust your car with and have honest prices too. I went first thing in the morning at 9AM without an appointment because this was an emergency. I spoke to Ali about what happened to my car. Tldr; I went to Wheel Works for an oil change a month ago and ever since, my car has been draining that oil like crazy. I'd expect it to have 0% oil by the next week. Ali inspected my car and stated that when Wheel Works changed my oil, they broke a screw (that needed to unscrewed and screwed) when Wheel Works changed my oil. If you own a Prius I hope you are aware that the catalytic converters are getting stolen rendering the car useless. Ordering the replacement can take upwards of 3 months. We wanted to try to prevent this from happening so we purchased a guard from Cap City Mufflers: https://capcitymuffler.com/purchase-online/ols/products and asked Ali if he could install it. Of course he said yes and did it for less than $100 the same day. As usual it was an excellent customer experience. Can't recommend him enough. read more

I had the B14 service indicator turned ON in my Honda odyssey's dashboard. As per the service, I was supposed to replace the timing belt apart from other things. Ali, the owner of the shop, thoroughly checked my vehicle and noticed that there was a note about timing belt getting changed sometime in 2019. He called me to inquire about it before replacing the timing belt. I had totally forgotten of it and checked my previous notes to find out that, indeed, the timing belt was changed in 2019. I truly admire Ali's honesty ! Reg the service, he did a super job of thoroughly checking my car's condition and advising me the critical things that needs to be taken care immediately vs the non-critical ones that can be tackled later. I visited Nissan Sentra Stevan creeks for my car AC repair, they quoted me 250$ for just for diagnosis. if any issue found then it's gonna be separate cost for parts and labour. One of my friend suggested to visit Ali auto care. He diagnosed in few mins without charging anything and quoted me the cost to fix. He estimated 350$ approximate. But finally it was 287$. read more

Ali's was recommended to us by my husband's colleagues, we've been taking our cars there for a couple of years now. We had older cars, were looking for a cheaper alternative to dealership prices. We've gotten a bunch of stuff done, some of what I can recollect: I got brakes replaced (he suggested replacing rotors, too). Had a check engine light, Ali told me that code could just be my gas cap wasn't screwed right, to see if it came back again after he cleared it. We fixed the catalytic converter on my husband's car, had a general check-up done, before giving it to our foster daughter. Once, I'd scheduled an oil change for my car, my husband took it in, and told them about all the things he wanted checked - and brought the car back without the oil change! When we took the car in again, Ali told my husband they were both in trouble :D and didn't charge for the oil change! We'd recommend him. read more

If you're looking all over Yelp and Google for an auto shop that can address your car problems/needs as quickly as possible and with the BEST care, then come to Ali's. Right now! I noticed my car was jerking back when I would accelerate... then I saw oil leaking from the front bottom of my car... and the RPM was going past 5... I needed to fix it quick. I found Ali's on Yelp and called him right away. He didn't pick up the first time but when I called back again, he said to bring my car in whenever I could. I dropped it off in the morning (thought my car was going to die in the middle of the street whilst driving there) and he called back a couple hours later saying that a rock had hit my transmission oil cooler and that it needed to be fixed right away, before checking the status of the transmission. He gave a reasonable price with each cost, and I let him work on my car. And wow, I am so glad I came here. When I picked up the car, I was a bit nervous because I don't know much about cars and I get cautious about mechanics taking advantage of people. However, Ali explained the breakdown of the costs to me and showed me the old part that got damaged. He said thankfully, my transmission is fine, because he drove it around and double checked. He also complimented the rudolph red nose that I have on my car. I haven't written a Yelp review in OVER A YEAR but I wanted to write one for Ali's because he really deserves it. read more
