I ended up with an Asus ROG Zephyrus G16. The purchase and support of what I was getting was clear and got what I wanted. I ended up purchasing an extended through the Geaksquad and they spent the extra time getting the whole thing set up. Coincidently no long after I purchased my laptop my motherboard on my dryer went kaput. I've had that dryer, Whirlpool, for 20+ years that they don't make the electronics in it anymore, so I went back to Best Buy since they pretty much have everything. There I found, with the help from their sales agent, the correct size and functionality. You pretty much can get everything you need from them. It seems this Best Buy location pretty much can help you with any electronic and home item purchase. And they now sell even barbeque pits for purchase, really! Even if you're not in the market to purchase anything it's nice to check out all the items they sell for future availability.

Something that should normally take no more than say 10 business days took as I said two months. Really! The whole time I had to do the follow-up and chasing down the sale rep as to the status. So, what happened!? Well my original order was for two, but only was was placed or ordered. An error on their part, and can't explain what happened. Then the other toilet was ordered and the toilet arrived but the tank came with broken lid, so that had to be ordered. Then they ordered that and that was hung up in Dallas and they said a big mess. You get the point! Just a major sh...t sh...w! Don't think I'll be going back because the customer service sucks with a capital S, cause I ended up doing the service reps job! Personally I should give them 1 star, but the price offsets the hassle, but not really. Highly recommend when you place the order you have it sent to them for receiving and not direct to your home, because then you'll have to deal with the manufacturer rather than let Pacific Kitchen manufacture defects or broken items.

They promised they meet/beat competitors pricing, but when I brought valid competitors pricing based off of either the website price or website price and a coupon I had from moving (Lowe's/New Egg/Best Buy/and several others), his management said they would not honor it. They worst part is they said it in a very condescending manner. The lady reminded me of either the Wicket Witch of the West or the David Spade "no" goat commercial. The male manager was a guy who probably learned management skills at a JuCo and thinks he is ready for C-Level Position @ a Fortune 500. If you don't want to match prices, don't offer that service, or put only the companies and manners of how you match it on a banner so consumers are not wasting their time. Also, you could say it in a more hospitable manner. Their loss, of about $7,000 in sales & a 5 years warranty plan. Went to Lowe's today and they took excellent care for me at the price I was trying to get Pacific Kitchen & Home to just try to match for the best Washer Dryer Samsung sells. I was still unsure of which Samsung French door fridge I wanted, but Lowe's even had an open box Fridge that was in perfect condition that was just opened today so I snatched that one up. About a a $4k fridge for about $1,800. Thanks Pacific Kitchen for messing up our sale so Lowe's could take good care of me. Lowe's 5 year plan was even cheaper than the Pacific Kitchen's plans significantly for all 3 appliances. I would give 0 stars for the experience if that was an option.

Knowledgeable and Trustworthy!…read more I have a 15+ year old refrigerator that neither the refrigerator or freezer were working. Akai inspected the entire unit and indicated the issue was the defroster in the freezer wasn't working and needed to be replaced. He quoted me what I thought was a very fair price but before I could say "Shut up and take my money!" he added that when he had unplugged the unit & plugged it back in, when starting up again the compressor sounded a bit suspicious. Thus he indicated I could go ahead and pay him to install a new defroster in the freezer, but it is only a matter of time before the compressor craps out and then replacing it would be over $1,000 and not worth it. So get this....he proposes that I defrost it the old school way by unplugging it, opening both the freezer & fridge doors, placing towels in front of the unit, and allowing all of the ice to melt and then just mop up all the water with towels and my wet vac and that would solve the problem for now. And in a few months when the issue occurs again I can just repeat the old school defrosting method until the compressor finally goes kaput, and then get a brand new refrigerator. Sure enough, I proceeded to do exactly what he recommended and lo and behold the fridge & freezer started working properly again. And I am all too happy to repeat every few months to squeeze every last bit of life from this old fridge until I have to get a new one. Akai could have very easily kept quiet about the compressor sounding sketchy and that it could fail in 3 weeks, 3 months, or 3 years and gotten a nice service order for replacing the defroster since he had already devoted the valuable time & effort to come to my house. However, he instead chose to be completely honest and forthcoming which is not as common as it should be and is very appreciated. I have saved his contact info and the next time I have any issues with any appliances he will be the technician I call. Knowledge and experience is great and there are a lot of qualified & knowledgeable appliance repair companies out there. However, also possessing honesty and integrity is why I strongly recommend Akai for any appliance repair issues.

I had a pack of screws that I realized were the wrong size. I had bought several other items, so I handed the screws to the employee. When I looked up, he had already opened the pack and started counting them. It was a two dollar pack of screws, and as someone who has been a Home Depot cardholder for more than seven years, I've never seen anything like that. I asked him was he counting the screws for return and he said yes. I told him this had never happened before and asked why he was doing it. He said it was because he could. Long story short, I ended up returning the screws and refusing to finish my purchase at his register, especially after he insisted that I slide an item over to him even though he could reach it himself. I went to another counter to complete my purchase. Overall, this was the worst experience I've ever had at Home Depot. All this over a two dollar pack of screws. Unbelievable.
