Bought some bearings today. Found this place through Facebook. The bell on the door didn't even work lol. Place was dark and hella messy. He had some ándale bearings I was inquiring for and he went to go get em and I said I didn't know this was a whole skate shop. To which there was No reply at all I had to ask if I could look around he sighed and said sure. Like if I was bothering him. Turned on the lights and he just hovered near me literally like 3 feet away just standing around. It was so awkward like bruh back off ended up buying some bronsons raw for $35 which was hella cheap but bro it's blatantly unconcerned. Judging from previous comments it's been the same experience for others; I don't think bro knows that he comes off that way or he just doesn't care lol. They sell decks that aren't the brand displayed on them, same with the wheels and trucks. They just buy cheaper blank decks and use the same design prints, but the boards are pure garbage, no doubt about it. read more

I asked where are the skateboard wheels are and he just rudely said over there I don't know what you looking for and we only accept cash... My daughter wanted her first board. They are reasonably priced, as I've gotten others for my sons at higher price. They do not take cards and is cash only. I'm assuming that since they are near a H.S. the reason they have the doorbell is to prevent any theft. Customer service could be better. The shop is dark so it might look like it's not open but if that signs flipped open, ring the bell and he'll show up. Dude is chill with me, he's just annoyed of people trying to haggle him. I'm a quick shopper, I know what board I want, what size and what shape. The boards are priced very well and doesn't seem to have any issues with warping or delaminating. He's got many different brands and sizes to accommodate everyone's needs. If you're comfortable with being locked in, have an idea of what you need, and are looking for prices lower than any other shops then come through and get hooked up. DO NOT COME! Owner has very poor attitude and made smart remarks. He was making me wait for the door to open and when he finally got the door for me he claimed I couldn't read. I took this offensively because my left eye had a patch on it. I continued to go inside to buy a board and I was asking for the prices of some skateboards and he said "You have a smart phone right? Look it up." The lights in the store were off, he had the door locked 3 different times, and he was overall being an asshole. I got my first board from here when I started skating years ago and have kept coming years later and man the service absolutely sucks. There's a big guy working there and it is the most awkward thing in the world when you're the only one there since he just stands in one spot and stares at you. This place is...well...bizarre. First of all, they keep the store locked during business hours (I know...what the hell, right?!?). You have to ring a doorbell and some guy who looks like he wants to be ANYWHERE but there comes and lets you in. As soon as you're in, they lock the door behind you. So, right off the bat, it's weird. My recent visit to this place went like this: the SECOND I'm through the door (before I even had a chance to see the place or look around) the guy who works there blurts out: "What are you looking for?" with a tone that made it sound more like "What the hell do YOU want?!" I replied: "New shoes." He asks: "What kind?" Me: "Umm...I don't know. I haven't even seen what you carry yet. Something that looks good and is comfortable, I guess." Him: "What size?" Me: "Well, I usually wear size 13." Him: "Well, we don't have ANYTHING in 13!" Apparently he knew, right off the top of his head, that their ENTIRE inventory contains no size 13s in ANY brand. Weird, right? Me: "OK then...guess I'll be going." So I did an about-face, waited for the guy to unlock the door (WEIRD!), and left. I never did get to look around the store! And the clerk seemed only too happy to see me leave; he came across as a total prick. It was like they didn't WANT customers and just wanted to get rid of us! It was one of the strangest shopping experiences I've ever had. I won't be going back considering there are a bunch of other skate shops in the area that DON'T suck like this place does. read more

Bought a complete blank deck with their logo all over it today. Customer service was not good. The bigger guy who was sent to help me spoke to me monotone like he hated his job and was not very informative. He didn't look or sound like he knew anything about skating (I personally have been skating a decade). I asked if it was a 31" by 8" board. He said "something like that"... Once I just decided to grab one that felt good and go, his last words to me as I walked out were "cheapest complete we have.." In a sarcastic *why didn't you spend more* tone. Bad experience. A really good selection of everything needed to skateboard. Name brand decks from $20 and up. Blank Deck special with grip tape $10 (has store logo spray painted all over, but really cool). Bought 2 decks, 1 set up (Royal Trucks, Misfits wheels, ABEC 5 Bearings, and bolts; also 2 sets of blank wheels. Pretty stoked on the boards. Not sure about the blank wheels, will update later. Roy helped us out and is totally chill. All in all, check it out, they have everything you need for skateboarding. read more

This place is horrible, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. First of all, they opened until 11:30. Thirty minutes AFTER the set opening time. Second, some big guy was hovering around me the WHOLE time while I was in there. Like, dude, I'm not going to steal anything. Also, after I had picked out a deck and some wheels, I was heading towards the counter and he snatched the deck out of my hands. Then he said, "you have cash right?" I told him I had my card, and he rudely responded, " Nah, cash only." To which I replied, " well on the yelp it says you guys accept card. You guys should change that if you don't accept cards." I'm actually really surprised to see all the bad reviews on the shop. Me and my boyfriend went in to get him two new decks, with literally no issues! Yes he has to unlock and lock the door, that's the choice of security they use. He welcomed us and asked what we were looking for, once we answered he was very informative. The prices here are crazy good! Less than half the price of places of like zumies and identity. I could care less if anyone's nice to me. If you're actually good at skating and know good prices when you see it, then this is the place for you. I read a review about this place stating that customer service does not matter when you come to a skate shop because its personal preference when it comes to skateboarding. While this is a true its still a business and someone acknowledging you in a friendly matter goes a long way. Ive been to this shop about 3 times and yes its true you have to ring a doorbell to be let inside and i guess the reason behind that is because when they didn't use this method they were being robbed during the day when the guy behind the counter would go to the back to check on something. I guess thats understandable but every time ive been here this guy just stares me down and just gives me a bad vibe the store is really quiet and it just doesn't feel comfortable like other skate shops. Ive never bought anything from here and probably never will just for lack of comfort. My experience there was actually really good. I went in needing a board from start to finish with long board wheels on it. I went in looking for the cheapest options for deck, trucks, spacers, wheels, and hardware. I bought my red bone bearings online... i forgot how much they were at the shop. However, my wheels were gel like, the deck was the house deck and they put grip on it, and the guy behind the counter answered all my questions. I really don't understand what people were expecting from the guy. He answers questions and helped me get out the door with everything I needed. Best of all the prices were surprisingly cheap. I would definitely go back and do it again. I was very happy to find this hole in the wall skate shop. I am just glad its still around. read more

One star was the lowest option I had If it was for me I'd put -5stars. It's pretty clear that I'm not the only one that has an issue with this rude prick behind the counter. Its the closest skate shop to my house and after today's experience I will most definitely be driving an extra 5-10miles to another shop. That has to be the most mediocre, most pathetic coustomer service I have ever had. For starters I did have to ring the door bell to be allowed in. I understand the extra precaution for the thefts however why is it that I feel I'm not welcomed. If thats the case, don't run the shop, go wipe toilets for a living. I was spoken to like I was a complete moron. I wasn't attended until I asked a question and even then he was dull and an asshole about it. He had no interest in helping me. I came in looking for grip tape, he didn't even show me them. He simply gave me two grip tape brands, when I asked to see them, his response was the price of each one as if I couldn't afford it or if I was gonna run with it. Everyday skaters go into shops, passionate about the sport of skating and the last thing we expect is a scum that ruins your shopping. I will highly recommend anyone and everyone who is interested in coming to this shop for boards and parts to drive the extra 5 miles to your next shop.
