Had a great experience coming here. I've been quoted 35-50 dollars for service fees from bike shops not even in a 3 mile radius of this one, but this shop was very reasonable. The gentleman helping me seemed to be the owner and was very knowledgeable and reasonable about my bike repair, I was expecting to pay over a 100 for a chain/tube repair, but was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't even close. Went here while biking to downtown Disney. I had a flat my first mile in and had to take the wheel off my bike and borrow my cousin's bike to get it fixed. It was 90 degrees outside and I was holding a wheel on one hand lol The guy who helped me was really quick and had fair prices. It was cash only so I had to go to the ATM to get cash. Peter gets down with bike, and I like supporting local businesses so it's nice to go here. While this place is cash only, the prices are reasonable. 50$ tube up 6$ for each tubes. The bike came out nicely done and it was ridden real well. I just had a confusion issue on the pricing as 50 plus 12 is 62, the total of mine ended up being 82$ .. I'd just think that's like an automatic labor cost? But to me it's tip for them so I didn't mind But if I were the next customer, Pls check your recipe and ask carefully. My biggest complaint is not that they don't repair ebikes but the lack of bike supplies. I only needed a tire lever, glue, and inner tube patches and all they have are patches. It's such an easy patch up but they don't have the basic stuff to fix it. read more

Ordered a fixed gear bike online and requested quotes from a few different shops. This shop was local and gave me the best quote. I was greeted professionally and my bike was built super quickly and well! When I arrived to pick up my new ride they adjusted it to fit me and let me know about their weekly bike ride, which is nice to know you're welcome to join a social even that's safe during these covid times. Simply put. The only reason to go to a bike shop is for advice or quick service. I mean, Amazon or ebay sell for much better prices and quality. I went in to but a wheel. Explained my issue and just said buy the wheel 75$. No offer to look at my current wheel, or installation or even remedies. I left. Went down south 1 mile found another place. They listened and offered me an easy fix. 10 dollar spoke adjustable tool. Tried it and wow. Problem fixed. Avoid this store and find competent sales people read more

Life saver! My jogging stroller went flat on one of the back tires during our trip to Disneyland and after inflating it, it went instantly flat again. I was going to be forced to either rent a stroller or buy an umbrella stroller which neither one I wanted to do but I have a a three year old so I couldn't be stroller-less for the rest of our trip. My mom suggested a bicycle shop and I'm so glad I took her advice! Very helpful and very nice and was able to fix it quickly and was less than what a umbrella stroller or rental stroller would cost me! Definitely saved the day for the rest of our trip! Highly recommend and he even said himself I'm not the first stroller parent to come in so if you're definitely in the right place if you need help! It is cash only. read more

i have been aware of this shop since it is the closest to my home. Both times I went in, the bicycle technician was very rude. I am not sure who he is, but he was clearly not trying to get gain my business. My first encounter was about 2010 and the same person was not very kind, I do not remember the details. Then this week, I was reminded why I should not do business there. I had forgotten how rude this person was until I began to converse with him. He is very rude, unkind, unhelpful, and told me I could take my bicycle to another shop since i questioned his advice to replace the chain. The person either does not like his job, or does not like me because I am Asian. I have never met anyone who was so rude and keep his job. Perhaps, he is the owner. If you are not Asian then maybe you will find him to be different. read more

Person on the phone was very rude. He intended for me to measure one part of the bike, but clearly agreed that I would measure a different part. When I called back with the measurements, rather than choosing to be professional and apologize for his miscommunication so we could move forward, he became very condescending and argued with me as to what he had said moments earlier. It's too bad because I have a lot to upgrade on this bike, and I guess they won't be getting my money. Never trust someone who isn't capable of even a basic level of customer service. EDIT: It seems the owner/subord can't resist the temptation to continue responding to my review with defensiveness and blame shifting. So, for every additional response they make, I'll be adding an additional edit below. ** EDIT 1: Notice the owner's first response focuses primarily on the fact the part needed to be measured, which is just wasted text since my post doesn't even dispute that. Just another example of the owner's tendency to get defensive and deflect blame, it seems. I should have listened to the other reviews before wasting a phone call. ** EDIT 2: More fallacious, delusional, defensive, and unprofessional drivel by the owner and/or son. My responses: "We wouldn't be in business this long if we didn't know what we were doing..." Seems you don't understand incompetence can sometimes result not in a total business failure, but in lowered profit. Imagine how much more successful you could have been, had someone taught you proper customer service / relations. "he recommended you bring it to the store" Flat out lie. This was never said. "and call back to argue with him over the phone because you measured the wrong part" Short term memory loss or lies; I explained what really happened in my original review. Attempting to Strawman my reasoning for calling back (from "to relay measurements" to "to argue"), and doubling down on the lie that I measured the wrong part (as opposed to reality: Your store's miscommunication), shows your lack of professionalism. "We accept responsibility on our end for the miscommunication and misunderstanding" Clearly you didn't, as your first response was a small insincere apology only made *after* I posted my negative yelp review, and then followed it up with blame shifting and useless PR fluff. Your second response doubles down on your lies, and calls the customer "whiney"? Awesome way to accept responsibility. "If you were a small business, you would understand the need to be defensive towards whiney yelpers like yourself." Incorrect. If you had experience under a *professional* business, you'd know that bashing customers with lies and fallacies as the bulk of your supposed apology, isn't a smart way to do business. Everyone can read these responses. Time to accept your mistakes like an adult, and move on. Your competitors are now laughing. "Our reputation is something we hold dearly" If this is true, you and your dad should stay FAR AWAY from customers and yelp comments, from now on. "So instead of getting upset at us because you don't know what part you need" More dishonesty, as explained above. "It's very easy to bash someone online, especially with apps like yelp that encourage the bad behavior" In this case, my review is *good* behavior, as I'm warning good people from wasting time+money on your *bad business*, since my grievance is legitimate. Attempting to co-opt the stories of good businesses being attacked by bad reviewers, to help your bad business, is more dishonesty. Don't assume yelpers are too stupid to see through you. They're smarter than that. "Rarely do people go out of their way to post something positive unless their experience is significantly meaningful" Have you not seen the other Bike shops with a hundred times more positive reviews than you, and a significantly higher rating? But thanks for reminding me. I ended up giving my money to a much more competent and customer friendly shop, and need to write them a glowing review. "For every one whiney yelper, there are ten satisfied customers." So, to recap: When a customer writes a valid complaint about your total lack of professionalism, you choose to call them "whiney" and display even more lack of professionalism / defensiveness, rather than simply apologizing and trying to make things right. And as a bonus, you display ignorance of basic business realities, like the fact the vast majority of unhappy customers tend to vanish without a trace (ie: positive reviews are rare, but negative reviews are only somewhat less rare). Awesome. Keep replying! Every defensive and blame-shifting rant you leave (where a simple apology and acceptance of responsibility could have been), simply helps all these good people on yelp understand more and more, that your business is to be avoided. Brought in my ebike for a minor repair unrelated to the ebike aspect of the bike. Was told "we don't touch ebikes because of our insurance" Given the rapid increase in ebike sales, it seems a poor business decision to refuse to service ebike owners. Was explained an ebike is "only a toy" Funny since I have ridden over 10,000 miles on ebikes and rely on this type of bike to ride with arthritic knees. Very poor service to the community given the image this shop attempts to portray. No attempt to understand the importance of ebikes to the senior community. I can only hope a new owner shows up someday who is more considerate of ebike users needs. Finally was told by the shop that 70% of bike shops won't service ebikes. This was the first shop I ever visited that refused to repair non ebike issues on an ebike. read more
