At a time when restaurants all over the country are struggling, this place was not asking guests to observe distancing, weren't prioritizing orders based on who ordered first (we ordered through the app and still had to wait ~20 mins after arriving), and the food we ordered wasn't even prepared correctly. So this is a really conflicting review because I love their bowls. But two things kind of make me really sad about this place: 1. Prices have gone up (which I understand but that's never fun). 2. They removed the seating area completely and replaced it with these weird thin bars to stand at and eat. That's right. You stand to eat your poke bowl. The only place to sit is outside on a city bench. Which is weird, like, I get removing the tables for space but taking away the ability to sit and eat? A simple solution to both problems would be to have bar stools so at least you're not forced to wolf down your food while standing. read more

It's not the best Poke joint that I have been to, but it also wasn't the worse. It's a very friendly and chill environment, ordering was quick and easy (as you only have a few options). They give you the option of white rice, brown rice or salad. You then choose two sides, your options are seaweed salad, edamame, imitation crab and egg. The protein depends on the size bowl that you get, small - 2, medium - 3 and large is 4. Your choices for protein are ahi tuna, spicy tuna, albacore, octopus, shrimp, scallop and tofu. You pick your flavor and you are able to mix them. I got the Yuzu ponzu because I don't like the taste of mayo. I was a little disappointed because the ponzu sauce was a little bland. Here's what I ordered: 1. Medium bowl with brown rice, imitation crab, edamame, spicy tuna, ahi tuna, salmon, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, avocado and yuzu ponzu sauce. 2. Medium bowl with 1/2 white rice, 1/2 salad, imitation crab, seaweed salad, ahi tuna, yellowtail, salmon, spice mayo and Gangnam sauce. Best pokē place I have been to. As of this writing they still dont have tables thanks to some stupid city ordinance. They had to remove their tables because they dont have a parking lot, even though there are other restaurants on Magnolia that dont have their own parking spaces either. Hopefully they get it worked out soon. There are some benches outside you can sit at when the weather is nice. But I live close enough I can walk so I can do carry out no problem read more

New branch that belongs under the same umbrella as the one in Studio City. Food is great. My gripes are with this location specifically: - No chairs/tables. There's a standing bar that you can eat at, but I found that a little weird that there was no sitting space. - They use a TEENY TINY TEASPOON to add veggies and toppings. I had to ask them to put "more corn" about four times. The first spoonful had maybe 5 kernels. Same with the masago at the end. It looked like an index fingerprint worth of crumbs with the first teaspoonful. On the upside, the staff was definitely accommodating and even offered taste tests for some of the sauce combinations to make sure we picked sauces that we would enjoy. read more

This place has been my go to spot for poke in Burbank. Prices are reasonable and they give you a generous portion of fish and sides. I ordered a small with salad (2 scoops of your choice of seafood) and ordered it with salmon, tuna, crabmeat and seaweed salad (sides) and mixed it with green onion, white onion, and cilantro and ordered it with the spicy mayo sauce. I topped of my bowl with masago (smelt egg), furikake, and crispy fried onion. Their spicy mayo sauce is good and is spicier than other spicy mayo sauces that I've had. The seaweed salad is savory and the crabmeat is good (despite it being a little bit dry). The fish is very fresh. What I found weird was that they did no have any seating inside. They used to have 5 tables inside, but when I came in yesterday there were no chairs or tables in sight. They also use paper bowls to mix their poke (which has bothered me from the start because it is not environmentally friendly). Most poke places I've been to mix their poke in washable/reusable bowls. Overall, it's a great place for poke, but don't expect to eat inside the place since there's no seating available whatsoever. read more
