Delicious poke spot in Burbank. I seem to find myself on this strip a lot and am slowly making my way down the street trying each spot for lunch. This is a really good option. It's fairly typical for a poke spot but unlike most of the lunch spots nearby so it's unique by location. They have a good selection of fish, mix-ins, sauce, toppings, etc. There are also a few items available for a minimum extra fee (mango and avocado). The small was really big and very filling. It is squeezed in a pretty small container which makes it a bit hard to eat at first. Easy street parking on the nearby streets. read more

Tasty food. Everything tasted fresh. The seasonings and sauces are great. The servers are very helpful and welcoming. They have a stamp program to get a small bowl for free. Street parking is easy. There are some issues though that are probably due to management. There are no chairs so you can't sit down and eat at the restaurant which is a problem since you're supposed to eat poke pretty much immediately but can't. They use paper plates to mix food then just throw it away instead of something reusable. The plastic containers they serve the food in are too small so the food is too packed and you can't reach the other layers. That makes the plastic bowls unusable and you really have to transfer your food to another container or ask them to split your food into multiple containers. So one star removed for wasted space and so much material waste. read more

My husband and I got take-out from here last night for our anniversary dinner. We couldn't decide what we wanted to eat, so I told him to just pick something. PROS: The gangnam sauce is REALLY GOOD. The price point is on par with what I pay elsewhere. There is ample street parking. They have unique bases like chips and noodles. They offer a wide variety of toppings that are all unlimited. You get two sides: edamame, seaweed salad, fake crab meat, or egg. You can add avocado or mango for $1.00...but than could be a con because that's expensive. CONS: There was an immediate fishy smell when we walked in. It was overwhelming. My fish had a rubbery texture. I couldn't eat it. There is not seating which could be a downside if you arent doing carry-out. read more

Okay poke, but ordering for a group is a mess. You call and they say they can't take the order over the phone. Then they let you sit thru the whole long line and then they ask you to fill out forms for each person's order while holding up the line behind you. Here's a thought (inspired by Chipotle): Put the group order form on your website so customers can fill it out ahead of time. Even better would be online ordering. Then the other problem is the menu on the website doesn't match the menu in the actual store. And the people in the store seem to think they don't have a website, so they have a bad attitude about it, even though this location is specifically on the website. read more

Soooo much delish! I'm an LA native who lived out in the OC for a while. So when I moved back I was CRAVING some really good and affordable poke. Luckily I found this gem near my local gym and I LOVE IT! There's honestly so much selection, I love it! Plus the staff is so accommodating and nice! The only bummer is the parking!
