My coworkers and I were craving some poke for lunch and decided to try All About Poke for the first time. They offer all the usual poke bases, proteins, sauces and toppings which were awesome. A small bowl gives you two scoops of protein and a medium gives you three. I got the medium with half salad half brown rice which you are allowed to do. Also know that the spicy tuna is pretty spicy here, which I liked. If you check in with Yelp, you get free mango or avocado in your bowl (which is $1 extra each). The only complaint we had was that there isn't a proper dining area to sit and eat. There was only a small outdoor bench (which was taken) or standing side tables inside. It is much better to get your food to-go and eat somewhere else more comfortable. All-in-all, we had a great experience at All About Poke and have already agreed to return again soon. read more

I wanted to order ahead through Yelp, but it wouldn't let you choose two bases, which I wanted - half soba half salad. So I drove there and parked. First off, I will say parking is kind of a pain, only street parking and since Portos is just down the street, its very hard to find. I circled the block and saw someone leaving, so I happily snagged that spot. I ordered from the guy, as the girl was helping someone else, and then it swapped. I checked in with yelp and got free avocado. I was a bit disappointed that you only got two toppings and each additional topping was a dollar. I wanted edamame, seaweed and crab salad. Halfway through the guy and girl swapped again and he tried to charge me for the avocado. She told him I checked in but to charge me for the extra topping. So for a medium - three protein, one extra topping, it was $15. The first bite was of salad tasted a bit funky, but overall was good. Sad excuse for a poke shop dark dim lit location, I don't even know where to get started but everything was just off about the place from their food to their physical location and workers. I got home and each family member opened their food to eat. One of the bowls had a piece of plastic in it. We didn't think too much into it. We are going through a pandemic and this place is very busy. We thought that it's just plastic, it might have gotten into the bowl as they opened dressing or something. I love the quality of food and it's super yummy however , recently the price went up in toppings. Usually I picked whichever toppings but now I am getting additional charges for things like mango. When you arrive, you have the choice to choose between rice, noodles or salad as a base. Then sides on top of the base include things like seaweed salad, Edemame, corn etc. I ordered a large (to split between 2-3 people) with brown rice base, edemame, seaweed salad, alabacore tuna, salmon and spicy tuna (amazing!!). I highly recommend the gagnam hot sauce if you like spicy and sweet. It has a punch to it. But it was pretty good. It was very filling. Healthy and satisfying. Wow! Major win bowl -- nice big chunks of fish (salmon and tuna tasted very fresh) also looveee that they have tamago (egg custard that's slightly sweet) as a side add-on! Had a small bowl ($9.15) with 1. half brown rice & salad, 2. two scoops of salmon and tuna 3. tamago, mango (that free check-in aw yea), cucumber, masago, furikake, roasted nuts (omg this tiny addition made it even better) and 4. with the Gangnam Sauce (spicy & sweet sauce, delicious). I really love this poke place. We've been regulars here for about a year and a half now, and the customer service is wonderful and they play my kind of music on the playlist! No matter how busy it gets, everyone gets some nice individual attention. I love the atmosphere, we love having little picnics outside the place eating our little bowls. Our favorite worker there is Amber (I know, great name ;) She is always making sure we get the best deals. The only thing is that for vegans they don't have marinated/seasoned tofu and which I heard is preferred, but I suppose if you like to custom-season your tofu it may be a plus for you. The person prepping my food was so helpful and friendly, she spoke Spanish too which was really cool. I love this place and to have it in a laid back area like Magnolia Parks is even better. Both times I've gone so far has been great. They use the freshest ingredients. I have a craving for sashimi at least once a month. Instead of going and spending 30+ on sushi, a poke bowl is more satisfying. I normally love this spot for poke because their flavors are good and fish typically pretty fresh, but I feel like each time I've gone, the workers get skimpier with their servings. For a small, you get two proteins, and I swear when I saw them scoop, it's like they purposely let pieces fall out and don't bother to let it overflow or fill the scooper at all, and I don't remember that being an issue in years past. With the cost of everything going up, it's not that surprising, but teach your workers to give consistent scoops, because it makes me not want to come back if I have to ask for a normal amount each time and feel like I'm the crazy one or asking for a scoop I need to pay extra for. Also the charge to add avocado is too much for what they give, so it's a problem across the board in their serving skills. read more

This review is not about the food, this review is about the worker I saw when I came in tonight (1/27/23 around 6pm). There was a girl in particular that is so rude to her coworkers. I didn't get her name but it was a white female wearing a black bandana. As her other coworker (which was great, totally the sweetest and honestly doesn't deserve to work in such a hostile environment) was trying to help her she told her move the line along, she proceeded to put her coworker down that she didn't need the help in a very condescending and rude tone that she doesn't need her help. Not only is she bringing a negative environment to her coworker which could lead to negative work environments for others, but it makes customers uncomfortable. The other girl (the nice one) was just trying to help out and the rude bandana wearing girl did not need to put her down in front of others like that. Fresh clean and quick! So I haven't been to enough poke spots but the few I have been to didn't offer salad / lettuce as a base option. So All About Poke you get the 5 star! I am doing another keto diet run. So I had to make sure Friday's lunch was low in the carb zone. Good thing All About Poke has a lettuce option for their base. I got a large bowl: Salad is an arugala base. My two sides were Crab Meat. Four proteins were 2 Salmon and 2 Tuna. The albacore looked good but wanted to stick to the two. I added Spicy Mayo and a shot of the Yuzu Ponzu. Just a heads up the spicy mayo is pretty spicy. Definitely more than your average sushi spot. I also topped it off with with green onion, cilantro, cucumber (they mix this with the protein and sauces then spread it over the base). And also added some crispy onion, crispy garlic and Furikake on the side. I also added a miso soup which was pretty big. So all together the amount was big. I know I got a large but this definitely entailed the large bowl size. It was heavy and filling. All the flavors meshed well together. The protein was fresh. The arugala did not have any wilting in it. And I was really surprised by the amount I got. So a large bowl and miso was $16 + I really felt it was worth it. The only and I mean only downside to this is the location of All About Poke. It's in a high volume traffic area being close to Porto's. And There are a lot of small eateries around here so parking and traffic is a bit of a hassle. There is tandem parking in the back in an alley. Something to note as well, the Nacho base is just tortilla chips. I was confused but figured it out. Also if you're curious about Furikake is a dry seaweed, sesame seed, salt, sugar and possibly MSG flavoring topping. Its amazing BTW. read more

I love the use of reclaimed wood in the walls and base of the counters. The orange paint accent complements the walls. For the base, you can choose either rice and salad. The choices for protein are tuna, spicy tuna, albacore, salmon, octopus, scallops and tofu. Then you can add two more free from these choices: sweet egg, crab, seaweed salad or edamame. Mango and avocado can be additional for additional $1 each but free if you do a yelp check in. We figured we can't do the coupon and yelp check in at the same time so we saved it for later. The biggest reason for not giving a higher score than 3 stars is because of their seating options. There isn't any! No seats, just stand up eating or eat on the bench outside ...without a table. I don't understand why you wouldn't want tables to better serve your customers and potentially sell more. After a long day at work, it would have been really nice to sit down and eat. read more

My boyfriend describes my food as boring, but I also like to say it's safe - I know it'll taste good! Medium serving, 2 salmon and 1 tuna. Mix white rice and salad. Add cucumbers, tomatoes, edamame, seaweed salad (hit or miss, sometimes it's really slimy...), cilantro, green onion, ponzu yuzu sauce, topped off with masago, sesame oil, and sesame seeds. The presentation is always really pretty and I get stuffed. To date, I've only gotten mild food poisoning once... but I'd go through that again just for my fix of poke. read more
