Nomzzz is about all I can say! I'm a glutton so any place that's BYO and let's you get as many toppings as you'd like is 100% for me. But on top of that, I love poke and this place does it right. Not many places offer soba noodles either so that was a great plus. This review is for delivery only. I got a half salad/half soba noodle large bowl with salmon, albacore, shrimp, and octopus. The shrimp wasn't those meager chopped up pieces of what resembles shrimp... they were nice sized whole shrimps. Yum! And because they offer so many sauces, my friend and I couldn't decide what to get, so we asked for one of each on the side. I think my favorites were the honey miso and gangnam. Their spicy mayo is also good. And of course, I got every free topping they offer and it was freaking delicious. The bowl was stacked and I enjoyed every single bite. This is my go-to poke spot in Burbank. I love the quality of the poke and the condiments selection. Every time I came in the staffs are always very friendly, so it's another plus! My typical bowl is the BYO medium bowl with rice, spicy tuna, albacore and tuna. My favorite sauces are the fire ponzu and the spicy mayo mix with a little bit of the gangnam sauce (I like it spicy!). The toppings are also great, and I usually get the everything except the nuts added on my bowl :) Highly recommended and the prices are also reasonable! read more

I was a bit disappointed coming here. I came during the week to meet a friend after work. We had a lot of catching up to do. The place itself is a decent size. There's plenty of street parking. It was very easy for me to find parking. So we ordered out food. A small bowl only comes with 2 scoops of protein. So I went for a medium that comes with 3. I did brown rice for the base and crab meat and seaweed salad for my sides. I went with albacore, salmon and tuna. I topped it with my usual toppings: Pineapple, jalapeño, white onions, cilantro, ginger and furikake. For the sauce I wanted some spicy but not creamy so I did their yuzu ponzu and also added spicy oil. Once I pay I'm looking for tables. I only see counters... then I go to the back and nothing only restrooms and the exit. So then I ask the cashier a little confused. "Are there no tables or chairs" and he says no. Super disappointed. I was wearing some small heels but I definitely didn't want to stand. So we grabbed a seat outside on some "bench" but it was pretty uncomfortable. So then I start eating my food. Everything tasted delicious except the crabmeat. It was a bit dry. But the fish was fresh and there was plenty of it. I would totally come back and just pick up to go. read more

Soooo I really used to like this place, but aside from them not having seats (I understand it's a permit issue but every other cafe/restaurant on Magnolia has solved this issue except for them) my boyfriend got sick from the poke the next day!!!! Not okay!!!! Meaning it probably was bad fish / not kept fresh. Also, it's a huge pet peeve of mine that they don't use bowls to mix the poke with the sauce like every other poke restaurant. Came here for lunch, and as soon as I walked in, the fishy smell was overwhelming. I under that it's a poke place and they serve raw fish but the smell was so disgusting. They mix your ingredients with your ordered sauce in a separate bowl before adding it to your bowl. The sauce was so little although I asked for extra. I ordered albacore and spicy tuna, but both weren't fresh. I don't think I'll go back again. Giving 2 stars only for customer service. They were extremely nice. I was looking for some takeout in my general vicinity and drove by this place. I had never tried pokē before and figured this was as good a time as any. The place is located in the heart of Magnolia Blvd, so it can be a little hard to find parking. The decorum on the inside is very welcoming, but there is no seating. There's a counter top that wraps around and serves as the eating area if you don't mind standing while you eat. They allow you to create your own bowl, so the combinations are endless. I had spicy tuna and salmon on a bed of brown rice and topped with crispy onions and a sweet egg. I was in the mood for something spicy and had them drizzle their fire ponzu sauce on top. I had no idea what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the whole meal was. Everything blended together perfectly and tasted kind of like what a sushi bowl would taste like. The tuna and salmon tasted super fresh, which I wasn't expecting. I'm really glad I added their crispy onion as it added a nice crunchy texture to the meal. The ponzu sauce was tasty and got progressively hotter as the meal went on. The sweet egg contrasted nicely against the spiciness and kind of ended up being my favorite part of the bowl. The Best Poke Around + Protein is great and filling + Portion sizes are pretty generous + Pricing is fair + Topping selection - No seating I'm not a huge fan of poke but my friends are so I go to my fair share of restaurants. I've been to a few in Downey, Montclair, LA, and other areas but none have satisfied me the way All About Poke has. For the quality and portion size, the bowls are very well priced. The fish is always fresh along with the rice/nachos and toppings. I normally get two protein salmon with nachos and am satisfied every time. The available sauces offer just the right amount of flavor and sweetness that you can't go wrong with any. I personally prefer the Yuzu. I think what really separates this place from the other poke places I've been to is the topping selection. The topping selection is more varied and larger in quantity than pretty much every other place I've gone to. It feels like double what you would normally expect. Having the option to add mangoes or mandarin oranges, along with seawood and crispy onion, topped with tamago and imitation crab is something I rarely see. Even more expensive poke establishments don't offer what this place does. The service is about as fast as it can be and it can get pretty backed up during lunch. No complaints here. Really the only gripe I have with this place is pretty unique. There's no place to sit. I fortunately work a block away but having no tables and no chairs...is a really weird decision. Overall, I'd recommend checking this place out. It makes me really like and enjoy poke because of the choices. This coming from a guy who rarely eats fish haha. 4/5 read more

Both times I have gotten their large poke bowl (4 scoops of protein) once with a salad base and the other with brown rice. I got 2 scoops each of salmon and shrimp. My sauce of choice was spicy mayo and Gangnam sauce on the side. The Gangnam sauce is fiiiireee both sweet and spicy yummmayy. I added cucumber, green onion, cilantro, jalapeno, edamame. For seasonings I topped it off with fried onions and sesame seeds. DROOL! I thought I was gonna have left overs but yeah my fat ass ate all of it. There is plenty of parking so no worries there. They also have a punch card every time you buy a bowl. The place is small with limited seating more of a bar stool so I usually order and take my bowls to go. Loved this place!! I was in the area and was looking for Poke on Yelp. Soo glad I found it and stopped by. Parking right in the front. Our poke bowls were super fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly as well! The only thing was that we wanted to eat there and they did not have any chairs because of the city of Burbank I guess. I don't see why they shouldn't have any!! The taste itself was good and the medium bowl is definitely more than enough to get full how ever they didn't supply us with chopsticks and personally I hate having to eat Japanese dishes with a metal fork. Secondly the rice was cold and was regular rice. That's a no for me. 3rdly the albacore was half way cooked through and I don't know why. The fish is supposed to be raw to my knowledge and experience. These are things that can be improved and I know everyone is trying their best during these times. I'm very disappointed to be giving 1 star to what would have been a 3 star review to All About Poke but the reason, I feel, is very fitting given the exchange between the employees there. I'lll start from the beginning. Set-up: Pretty much the same as most of the other Poke places that have popped up lately. Chipotle style line of rice, fish, toppings, and sauce. Food: The fish was fresh (I think.. stay tuned), but the sauces could use some work. It was a little bland. I got the yuzu ponzu and spicy mayo (not spicy). The rice was cooked nicely though. Service: I THOUGHT they were friendly, but I was listening to the exchange between the two female coworkers as one was refilling the avocado container while the other was prepping my bowl. The employee that was refilling the avocado, picked up an avocado that was brown and almost rotting and asked her coworker what she should do with that piece. The coworker said "we should save that piece for a SPECIAL customer". Now, I really hope they were joking, but either way, not the type of joke you make at an establishment that serves food to people. Comments like that make me skeptical on the cleanliness and integrity of the business. I also have a degree in Environmental and Occupational Health which includes Public Health and I can tell you now that if someone from the Health Department overheard that conversation, not a lot of good things would have happened. I sincerely hope that there is a retraining on these employees on food safety. I highly doubt I will be coming back here just because I wouldn't trust the employees handling my food.
