I had 3 bathroom shower door to do and I call this really bad campny its unbelievable how rode they are on the phone, Then they come to take measurements and they said the price going to be ready tomorrow. The next day I called and ask if its ready and she said "dont push my I am working on it, you going to have it in couple of hours" That was at 10:30 morning time. No one called... at 15:45 15 min before they close I called again and a different girl picked up: Me: hello, hi I am the guy from Torrance with the three shower glass doors, do you have a price for me?... rude girl: what do you think you the only guy from Torrance! !?? I had a broken window in my kitchen, so I called Gardena Glass to get a quote. Because the woman quoted me a good price on the phone, I decided it go with them. She asked me many questions about the dimensions of the window and the wooden frame before giving me a quote. I was told that it would be more because it was wooden and needed putty. She said it would be between $130-150. When the workers arrived, they measured the frame and then sat on my patio talking. After a few minutes, I asked them if there was a problem. They said that they were waiting for a call back from the office about the price. Finally, they said it would be $189.00. I told them that I had been quoted $130-150 and was told that they don't know what they are doing in the office. They said that they didn't take into account that it was a wooden frame. I told them that I was asked all those questions. The guy said, "Well, do you want to do it or not?" I decided to do it because I had a gaping hole in my kitchen with the glass all broken out. After all that, they left a mess. I had to pick up glass and putty that was left both outside on my patio and inside my kitchen. read more

The employees were extremely helpful when helping me to pick the type of glass to be used on the console table and were very friendly when I called back about three times to change the dimensions. I've had to use Gardena glass twice now. And on each occasion for me it was an emergency. The first instance was to replace two windows that were badly damaged and had to be totally replaced and they did an excellent job and upgraded to a low-e windows for the same price. The last job required them to replace a custom closet panel and I was happy to see after 2 years the same guys showed up to work. What a horrible experience has dealing with this company been. From waiting for scheduling to them cancelling an hour before I was scheduled to have my install. Then I am told I can't reschedule til Friday that's 5 days away! I paid extra to have a sitter for my son on a holiday just to have them cancel. so now I have no windows and I'm out extra money because now I have to have another day of a sitter so they can come finish my Windows. so highly disappointed right now! read more

Saw good recommendations. Have two,mirrored floor to ceiling mirrored closet sliding doors that just working and very old. I had them replace a broken double-pain window on a white vinyl frame. They took a bit longer than i thought was normal. When I got it home I noticed that they had forgotten to tighten several screws. Not much attention to detail. read more

Glass repair was visibly shotty, many bubbles where the pane was replace, and seal failed with in 15 minutes of use. Came to this shop to have the crack in a small aquarium repaired. Shop seemed confident that they could handle the project. It was simply a matter of replacing a 7.5" x 10" pane of glass. They had this repair completed in a day, at first it was half an hour, then an hour, then a day. When i picked up my tank the next day they told me to wait another day before putting water in it. Well i waited a whole other day. Every thing was going fine for about 15 minutes, then it began to leak, then it began to leak some more. Soon the sides were separating, and there was water every where, and i just wasted $50. Moral of the story, this shop will take any job, but may not have the skills and equipment to complete your project to a satisfactory standard. I do not recommend this place for repairs. Sorry, not sorry. read more

Don't go there! Very overpriced and unreliable. Staff is ok but the management/ownership is not. They will dump your order after committing if a more remunerative job will come in. They have no respect for customers. Very uncomfortable environment, a worker about to start a job was rerouted to unclog a toilet and left the customer without glass. Workers were cool and helpful but they screwed up. Lady/owner had bit of an attitude ,huffin' and puffin and quite snappy. She didn't even remember me from the day before as if they had 30 walk in customers that day! Hah, yah right. I had come back to get the glass sanded down since they had cut it slightly larger than my measurements and out of square. She was barking that if I didn't have my receipt she couldn't help me. What a joke! Was about to turn around and run home to get it but then they worked it out. I guess I can understand their bitterness. Years of never expanding or making a million bucks selling glass could really chap your hide! I will not return there. I picked up the trade and cut my own glass and mirrors now for all my projects. With all do respect, I recommend the owners do some meditation and breathing techniques. Take care, really. read more

Within 30 min Rudy who also was very professional and versed came to the apartment to measure and give me an estimate. 2 days later Rudy came back to install the mirror, best job ever and Rudy is the nicest guy! I ordered from other Glass Mirror companies but Garden Glass Inc is the best by far with the nicest people working for them and they are FAST.... I have never been so embarrassed to say that my family chose Gardena Glass. What a terrible experience. In a world where great service is hard to find...we have a company who cut corners and does TERRIBLE work. Not only do they do terrible work, they do not communicate to the customer and fail to make the situation right. They get their money anyway, right? What a absolute disgrace. You should see the MESS that was made, my children could of done a better job. Spackle and caulking thrown all over the place. They couldn't get the measurements right in the first place. Isn't this what your job is? They KNOWINGLY brought "inexperienced" workers to complete the work with out ever notifying the customer. How dare you take it upon yourself to send inadequate workers just to make yourself money. I am disgusted, appalled, and unhappy with Gardena Glass. You took advantage and you knew it all along. I would strongly recommend not choosing this company. I am saddened that my family has to spend more money on a job they were told would be handled correctly at the start. i called in and asked for a quote on installing 2 11"x12" aquarium dividers on a 20gal tank, the lady on the phone told me that it was going to be $22, seems fair enough..i got there and they changed the price to $30 each aquarium, i was gonna have 2 of my aquariums done..so from $44 from the original quote, they raised the price to $60.. i wasnt gonna spend $60 on a very simple job that i could do myself..so i just bought the glass from them then installed the dividers myself..took me less than half an hour..the people who works there seems pretty nice though, especially Jesse (the guy who cuts glass) and the price of the glass is a bit cheaper than home depot..im definitely gonna come back if i need more glasses to be cut! read more
