I had one of the best experienced EVER with a tow truck company.. As it was Sunday, my options were few. I could have had the car towed back to the company's lot and then to a mechanics the next day.. I was pretty upset. It wouldn't go into gear! The gentleman looked at it and then asked me if I had a paper clip. He said some pin had come loose and gave it a temporary fix. It works great! I have been waiting for over an hour for this company to come jump my car. They apparently decided they didn't have enough drivers and rather than calling me and notifying me, they called my insurance company and canceled my tow, leaving me without help and without any notice. I waited till 30 min after the arrival time and called them to find out, only to get a condescending response and be told that I should call my insurance company and figure it out. Well that is what I already did two hours ago before they cancelled the tow!!! This place is horrible. Update: I just called my insurance and found out that the owner DID NOT NOTIFY MY INSURANCE THEY WERE GOING TO CANCEL THE TOW, allowing my insurance to make a smooth transition into arrangements for another driver. They simply cancelled the ticket and never called my insurance or told anyone. So of course major issues like this happen. If you don't want to take 1 min to put in a phone call and prevent someone who is already having a horrible day from having an even worse day, I don't know why you are in the towing business or even registered to help with insurance towing. read more

We're coming home along Hwy 101 after camping in the Trinity Alps for several days and our car brakes down, transmission kaputt. We coasted off Hwy 101 just outside Healdsburg. Tow truck arrived in less than 20 mins with the nicest, most efficient driver, Robert. He and Allison at All City handle everything smoothly and efficiently. Driver hit me at the scene refused to give me his information. I don't even have the name of the driver. I called in to the company where Allison told me to text her. I texted her my drivers license insurance and all of my information. However, the company has refused to send me even the name of the driver much less a drivers license. Dealing with the entitled owner, she thinks she is above the law at the scene of an accident. You are required to exchange information. She refuses to even give me the name of the driver, hiding him and protecting him when he should have acknowledged me he didn't even roll down the window at the scene. I am shocked that the industry driver was not responsible enough to exchange information as required by law, but also the owner of the company is protecting him and refusing to exchange my information. I will be reporting this. Debbie is extremely entitled in the way that she spoke to me, especially when her driver hit my vehicle bossing me around telling me where to take my car and what she's going to do. If this is how they handle an incident on the road where this is their industry, I would be very alarmed on how they run their business. read more

After a terrible experience with my insurance's Roadside Assistance that began at 3:30pm and lasted until 8am the next day the dispatcher and tow truck operator were a pleasant and welcome surprise. The tow was tricky but with the 8 years of experience of the driver he was able to maneuver both the truck and my car into place to achieve the tow on the flatbed. He was so rude and unclear, so I tried to clarify with him that he could in fact do the job, and he hung up on me..Guess he didnt want to get out of bed. This is actually All City Tow. I was in a remote area locked out of my truck. 10pm at night. Had been dealing with a horse emergency. They would not come out with a purchase order from US Rider, who contracts with them. I had next to zero cell phone service. All info was in my truck, which was locked. What assholes. I would give no stars if possible due to Chuck's (the owner) immediate refusal to tow before having made a physical observation of the problem. A complaint to Triple AAA has been filed re. this sub. The car had gone off the dirt road during hard rains but still partially on the road. It was stuck in mud & simply needed to be pulled out. When he was asked how an assessment of the problem could be made without coming to the site, he would not answer the question & insisted on speaking to the AAA cardholder who was already at the site waiting. (No phone service was available there.) I had to fulfill his haughty demand by getting the cardholder on the phone. The cardholder also asked him about making a blind assessment & he finally agreed to come out. When asked what the name on the truck was, he said it was just a GMC & refused to give the company name. Once, arriving he took 30 min. to bs his way out saying a big truck wouldn't make it up here. I'm sorry but UPS trucks deliver to the door here! A few days ago I needed to get a vehicle towed back to my grandmothers home in Cazadero, which is nearly an hour away. I placed the call through 3A and shortly after the driver (Robert) arrived to tow the vehicle. As it turned out the car not only needed to be towed, but also needed to be unlocked! He was very professional and had it unlocked, and hooked up in a matter of minutes! And after arriving at the destination he was even able to back it right into a narrow parking space, which was the most convenient place for us to store it. I have relied on ABC Towing to help with every roadside service need for many years now, and every time without fail I've received excellent service! Whether it be a jump start, flat tire, or a tow I know I can always count on Chuck and his staff! Another job well done! Thanks again guys! read more

This barely worked out, I wish there were better options in the upper north bay. The company's name is now All City Tow, and the business is based in Cloverdale, but also operates out of Healdsburg. I think they have severe telephone and scheduling problems, it feels like they take on every tow request that comes through, but then have real trouble delivering what they promise. My car was at a local repair shop in H'burg, and needed a tow down to San Rafael area, and I was already home, just trying to arrange the transfer. The price was competitive, compared to outfits in San Rafael and Novato, and they said they could do the tow the day I called. After the first promised pickup had come and gone (at noon), I was told the driver was finishing a run, and would be back to get the car at 3:00. My mechanic near San Rafael stayed late to receive the car, but it never came. The tow company had picked the car up at end of day, and left it on their flatbed overnight. When I checked in the morning, was told they had communicated with my mechanic and would have it there before noon. It didn't arrive until 4:00 So, it worked out, my car was moved, and is none the worse for the delay, but I'm dumbfounded by the poor communication and broken promises. http://www.towingincloverdale.com/ read more

If I was able I would give 10 stars. Based on my stupidity, I needed a tow from Cloverdale to San Mateo this past Labor day. After contacting a few companies most would not or could not tow my vehicle based on the holiday, way too busy, not enough drivers or equipment, and the distance. Luckily I got a hold of Anthony at All City Tow and he was able to make it happen. At first he indicated he could only take us to Healdsburg and then later in the week take the car to San Mateo. When their driver, also named Anthony, arrived he loaded my car and off we were to Healdsburg. But, after 10 minutes I was told he got the okay to tow to San Mateo. Both Anthony's saved the day and made a very unpleasant experience more bearable. Great job All City!!! read more

ABC towing was really pretty great. First off, they were fast, about fifteen minutes from when I called to them preparing the truck to lift my car. I hated to spend money on a tow, but that's what happens when you don't have AAA. That being said, they offer 10% off if you mention Yelp and another 10% if your a student. So that twenty percent took some of the sting out. Chris was very professional and the experience was about as good as you can hope for when your getting towed. read more

I have made up my mind about this name shifting incompetent. My husband was chased out of the Von's market in Healdsburg for breaking down in their lot...WITH our cat....on the hottest summer day....a mere 10 hours driving. He couldn't even get himself or the cat any water or food! Not from that bi-polar manager woman! No, like a CONSIDERATE HUMAN BEING he was not going to miss the tow truck. I noticed several others complained of the cell service hardly working, same situation there, so I was frantically trying to help him get a taxi, rental car, Uber, Lyft, motel/hotel room before 5pm on a Saturday.Not open, not open, try back Monday, it's not worth our while to come 7 miles to get you. But you ARE a taxi service. No one is going to be walking in looking for a ride!l The car finally made it to us- 4 days of being right on top of it with phone calls, texts,don't worry, it'll be in a couple of hours.Hurry up and wait!! For all the concern they showed us, especially the cat, I plan on returning the rudeness. It was like being in the Mexican desert-nothing for miles and miles not even a mirage. Northern CA AAA (I was not aware of this special separatist branch) mishandled the whole mess. They need to hustle up a few different tow companies and contract them instead. Simply put, how can they stay in business! My girlfriends bike broke down in healdsburg, and we needed to get it back to our house in santa rosa (later measured to be 11.2 miles). AAA does not cover motorcycles so we were gonna have to pay out of pocket for the tow. We googled tow companies in healdsburg on our cell phone and ABC tow came up first. Called the shop @ 6 pm on a Thursday and asked how much for the tow. The guy who I spoke with was rude and condescending, and after giving me the runaround for an estimate, told me he could do it for $400!!! I couldn't believe it. He then got pissed off when I said I will just call someone else. Called Santa Rosa towing (see my review of them) and was thrilled by their customer service. To say that this is a terrible experience would be an understatement. To add that this was in the capacity of a business to business transaction makes it even worse. Not only did my technician get locked out of his truck for over three hours, but he was lied to repeatedly by the company answering service and operator for over two hours. First call went in just before 12pm and a fax was sent for work order authorization which they admit receiving. Then they claim that no payment was received so they did not send a truck, they did call for payment but said it took almost 40 minutes to get the payment (If that is believed, which I don't, it means that had they dispatched a truck it would have arrived at just over an hour which is not great but still acceptable.) They did not in fact dispatch a truck until over 7 phone calls between my driver, fleet response, and their "answering service" took place and each time we were told 10 more minutes. The tow truck was dispatched at 2:28 and the job completed by 2:50pm. The manager, Nate K, was not only unapologetic about leaving someone locked out of their vehicle for three hours in less than 45 degrees, but had the gaul to blame his absolutely terrible communication on the fleet team for not sending a payment over right away (prior to services being performed) but refused to acknowledge that even had it been the 40 minutes delay it still should have taken less than three hours total AND at no point was the answering service giving us true information, nor did Nate call my driver back directly so we could have given him a payment card over the phone and been done with it. I requested to speak to the owner, and was told Alex Burg was not available and he would give him a message and if he wanted to, Alex would call me back. Talk about bad customer service, this is about as irresponsible and discourteous as a service industry business can get. Not to even offer an apology when it is so blatantly obvious you are in the wrong is ridiculous and just bad business. I was frustrated when I saw that I had gotten a flat tire today in Healdsburg. I didn't have the right socket wrench (I know.. shame on me) to swap the flat with the spare, and the location I was at had a manager that threatened for my car to be towed if I didn't move it soon. So I decided to call ABC Towing to have them quickly put the spare on. I called and spoke to a very nice lady who asked me a few questions, told me how much the service would cost, and dispatched a tow truck driver. She said it'd be about 35 min until his arrival, but I think it actually took him about 25 min, which was pretty fast considering his truck said Cloverdale Towing or something like that. I didn't get his name, but he was very nice, quick, and efficient. So after all this, I learned my lesson and will go buy a socket wrench so I don't have to pay money to get my spare put on :/ read more

Clearly this is a shady tow company. They are the only company AAA contracts through, and they know it. They will make up reasons for not wanting to do their job(TOW CARS). They claim AAA will not cover the cost and the only way they will tow you is for an $80 'commercial' tow fee. It's a racket. Forget these scamers, you're better off walking home. read more

Its sad when you are stranded in a town you don't know that you get fully taken advantage of. When the tow truck came to pick me up, the helpful officer called ABC towing (due to a contract that should be burned, the police are required to call them), the towing man did not ask for my insurance nor my contact information and I made it clear to them that I was not from the area and I would not be spending anytime in the area of Healdsburg. I end up being charged ridiculous rates for the car to sit there while I find a reliable mechanic in an area I do not know. ABC does not have their rates on their website and for good reason. Since I didn't have AAA, something they did not tell me from the beginning that I needed, I had to pay out of pocket for all of these fees. The lady tried to tell me that she gave me discounts of some sort but I still feel that I was completely wronged by this company. It also did not help that she was trying to tell me they were closed which made me wonder how she was able to answer the phone to begin with. Maybe that is my lack of understanding of how tow yards/ tow truck companies work, but if I had to redo all of this I would never use ABC again. If you have AAA it might be better, but according to other reviews, ABC was not helpful with them either. No mercy around the holidays. read more

I was up in Healdsburg on July Forth to watch the towns amazing fireworks. (OMG the grand finale was KILLER) Before we staked our spot to watch the fireworks, we stopped off at the town square for some food, and candy to munch on while we waited for the fireworks to start. After we were done, we headed back to my car. We all piled in and the car wouldn't start. I had no idea what was wrong with it. It was just clicking. I didn't know who to call, and I was panicking thinking OMG it's a holiday weekend, everyone's at home, I don't have any cash (who carries cash anymore), and I'm going to be stuck here. Amidst my panicking, one of the people that I was with saw this little yellow truck driving around, we figured maybe they could help. We flagged the truck down and explained to the guy our predicament. He was super nice, hopped out of his truck, ran a test right there on the spot, and he determined that it was our battery. He was fully prepared, and had the battery I needed in the back of his truck. This guy was TOP NOTCH. I think the people below (Miss K. and Brian) are talking about a different company, because that's sounds absolutely nothing like the ABC towing that I experienced. I have recommended them to all of my friends. Hands down the only people I will use from now on. 5/5 for sure read more
