Wonderful pest control company! The garage of my parents' home has not been deep cleaned in many years and I would notice black widows scurrying around when I'd open the garage. In the past, I'd simply arm myself with a can of Spider Killer and spray them as I encountered them. Now I'm older and wiser and decided to hire professionals to spray instead, so I wouldn't have to have anxiety and mini heart attacks every time I'd see a black widow. Looked on Yelp to find a company nearby my parents' home with high Yelp reviews. Good Earth was my first choice. Getting pricing info and making an appointment was seamless with Yelp's messaging system. Kevin was so helpful in keeping me apprised of the process and the appointment time/date. On the day of, Zack showed up promptly and with a smile. I was so surprised when he told me my one-time treatment would actually allow follow-up visits within 30 days. He told me the first treatment would be spraying and then the second treatment would be getting rid of the webs. Wow, what a great deal! Both days Zack was punctual, friendly and professional. We even talked about the celebrities he looks like! (You'll have to meet him in person to guess which celebrity) On the second treatment day, he came armed with a cobweb brush and I actually felt kinda embarrassed because it was like he was doing housekeeping for the spiderwebs! Excellent experience and so far I haven't seen any spiders left! Highly recommend this company. Still incredibly happy with this company. They continue to hire outstanding people. We had them out yesterday for our regular bi-monthly treatment--and while I didn't catch the young man's name, he was excellent. We'd requested ahead of time to have the garage treated as well (because normally they only treat the outside unless we ask them to spray anywhere else, in which case they're more than happy to do so). My wife opened our garage up before heading out with our kids, and the tech could've easily finished the job and just moved on. But instead, he knocked on the door afterward to let us know he was done so we could shut the garage. He specifically said he didn't want us to leave it open longer than needed. Some might say that's just part of the job, but the truth is, small gestures like that aren't so common anymore. At least not in my experience. It showed genuine thoughtfulness and care--and that matters a lot to us. Great service, as always. read more

I went with another company, which was half the price for the same service, but not before I had to sit through a 15 minute hard sell to get a quote. I should have hung up as soon as I was confronted with AI answering the phone, but frankly, speaking to a human did not help much in this case. read more

They were very helpful in identifying what we had coming into our home but couldn't figure out where. They treated the huge ivy in our backyard which has helped. They also placed sticky traps. I was hoping for a miracle treatment but it has improved 98%. Overall it's better. read more

I've lived in a couple of rentals that had roaches and tried a couple different Pest Control companies. Good Earth is by far the best that I've tried. The thing about roaches is that it takes a couple months for them to fully disappear and in those couple months you might see an influx of them after they get sprayed Because they're running from their homes. This company really talks you through that because it can't be jarring, and they come out for subsequent sprays within those first weeks if you need. Now after 2.5 months we can finally see that the process was worth it because we haven't seen any roaches!! So far so good. Started quarterly service on our home in Sacramento. Few ants that most likely were a result of turning up the area around the house landscaping. I messed up! I forgot to keep my back gate open ev though they sent me a text to remind me they were coming! they took care of the front yard and came back for the back! I have had problems with mice, various bugs and the biggest problem was black widows. I could not walk at night from my car to the front door without encountering multiple spiders at certain times of the year. I couldnt let my dog in the garage because I never knew if he would find one, they were everywhere! I haven't seen any signs of critters since they started taking care of my place. well, the first month I saw many ants coming in, they came right out and sprayed. no extra charge. Something has changed. I was truly happy with my service from this company, but the last month, they completely forgot about my appointment for several weeks, and then when they finally rescheduled it, the technician did not show up in the window they said. I finally texted them and got a call, but my normal technician was Caprice, and she was fantastic. Seems like something has happened that has dramatically affected their service? Coming from the Bay Area I had never Seeeenn REAL cockroaches before! Y'all got some BIGG'UNS outchea!! Omgosh! So when I saw a HUGE beast in my backyard in my dogs water bowl...and then ANOTHER ONE that came up my bathtub drain, I FREAKED THE F OUT!! I pulled up Yelp, found these guys and contacted them POST HASTE! I originally had to leave a message but Kevin got back to me quickly. I told him of my cucaracha woes and he took the time to explain what I was seeing and why. He calmed my nerves and assured me they could handle my problem. He also explained the options I had for a one time spraying or a regular schedule. I've been using them for about a year now and they have always been super professional, reliable and communicative. They give me a text reminder they day before they come (just as a courtesy, I don't have to be home)...and they let me know when I have been billed for services. Having used Good Earth Pest Control for since April 8 think I've developed a good understanding of this company and the services they provide. I had recently moved into a new house and making sure that there wasn't any insect squatters that remained was a top priority. There was evidence of prior tenants in the attic and we wouldn't absolute certainty they had been evicted. On their first visit, Good Earth did a thorough look at the entire property as well as the attic and multiple other crawl spaces throughout the house. They didn't believe their was an issue and set up traps anyways just to make sure that these ne'er-do-wells were gone. They performed their standard spraying and did the garage as well. This service itself was worthy of a 5 star but it some of the events that happened were they really earned it. One of my lovey temporary house guests decided to invite another house guest through some second hand furniture. These house guest were not welcome, may I introduce you to... the German cockroach. Some quick googling created a sense of terror that only grew as I found more and more of these uninvited insects from the furniture. Luckily, Good Earth Pest Control was here to save us. They set up a treatment plan on how to remove these pest. There was some moving of furniture involved but Good Earth wanted to make sure that this infestation was caught quickly. They had to complete a whole house spraying and this involved us leaving the house for awhile until things had cleared but the end result was that these roaches were unequivocally removed from this house. There was additional follow up treatments for this specific isssue to make sure that the pests were eliminated. Good earth did a couple of follow ups and almost 6 months later there hasn't been any evidence of these pests. The offending vehicular furniture was removed and destroyed to make sure that the source of the infestation was also taken care of. After this the visits have been of the standard variety. Outdoor spraying but they have offered to complete indoor spraying if needed. The best part of these experience is that while they perform their standard service, if issues occur, they are quick to send out someone to make sure that our problems our solved. A few weeks ago I found 2 bugs in my kitchen that I thought were cockroaches. I called Good Earth Pest Control and was told to text a pic of the roach. They called me right back and said it was an outdoor roach that probably had come in because I recently had a new fence put in. Then just today I found a few small bugs under my daughters mattress. Afraid they were bedbugs I again called Good Earth and they again had me text a pic. I was told they were not bed bugs and were beetles that probably "hitchhiked" into the room. If I wanted I could have them come and spray but it probably wasn't necessary since there probably was not a bug problem in the room. I had set an appt with another company and they explained that they could only fit me in 2 days later. Called this company to come out to my place of business because we are having a serious ant problem. They fit me into their schedule the same day and treated the areas. The gentleman was very communicated on what he was doing. There is no contract and so they are working hard to earn and keep your business! That essentially is a big selling point for me I hate contracts! If you're not happy you should be able to seek another business that you can be happy with. I used Good Earth Pest Control for the first time last week and had a great experience working with them. They were very responsive and friendly. We heard a noise coming from the area above the hood of our stove on a Thursday night. Terry came out and set some traps late Friday afternoon. We heard the snap of the trap within 30 mins of him leaving the property. I called Monday morning and they were able to come Tuesday to clean up. There was a bit of a scheduling mix up because I live in a duplex and they were scheduled to service both residences, but my neighbor was out of town. We've been using this company for 2 years. They are super responsive by text. They come every two months, but they will also come anytime between appointments for ANYTHING, no extra charge. We've had them come for wasp nests & garbage can black widows inbetween appointments. So far so good! I just bought a new construction home and wanted to stay ahead of the game by having preventive pest control services. So, I contacted Good Earth via Yelp and received a quote very quickly from Kevin. His prices were competitive. He explained the rate, and that I wouldn't be locked into a contract which I thought was cool. A few other companies came back with quotes and contracts. A couple days later Lee showed up, and he was wonderful. I'm a single woman, and I totally felt comfortable with him coming to the house. He explained everything to me, what to look out for (again single woman), what's normal, and what's not normal. He explained that they will come out anytime between bi-monthly visits as they have a guarantee for their services. Lee talked to me in the doorway maintaining distance with COVID, and the payment was all taken care of over the phone. Essentially the service was no contact, and I felt safe. I can't really speak to how well they do with removing pests as I don't have any. But I'll definitely update in a few months and comment on if I ended up getting unwanted guests.
