I had a flat tire a few miles away from the shop, I changed it, and then the back hydraulic disc brake didn't work (I had turned bike upside down to change the tire). It is predictable, the owner now accuses me of things that I did not do. She labels my interaction as verbally aggressive I'm not even sure what that means but I was not. Nor did I ever say the words "liar" to them. Their story about me coming in and being all aggressive is false, I just wanted my tubes replaced and I apologize as the manager demanded. If anything, they were being rude to me, and everything that I said was 100% accurate. They just don't care about customer service and take no responsibility for when they don't treat a customer right. Sometimes they charge $10 sometimes $15 for labor. That is a fact. It is unscrupulous. I hope people will get a clue and not put up with their extreme rudeness and unwillingness to do the slightest service of changing inner tubes. It's pathetic but they get all out of bent out of shape if a customer simply calls them out on it and request Fair treatment. It is their unwillingness and possibly discrimination against people they label dishonest from the beginning that caused drama. I believe it was because I was hispanic. If I could give 100 stars I would. My husband and I were looking into getting some mountain bikes and we had done a lot of online research but I am more of a tactile person and wanted to see the bikes in person. We had read that a shop in Westlake was great but when we went there to guy was condescending and I absolutely felt uncomfortable there! Then my husband said let's try this shop in Simi Valley and I was discouraged but said, "sure". And I am so glad that we did. Everyone here is amazing! They made me feel at home and comfortable. I was anxious about purchasing a bike. I am a "big" girl and I usually don't like "sport" places..well that's another story but Gina and Madison made me feel like I belonged there. Our experience only got better when we went to pick up our bikes, Madison made sure that they fit us and even helped us put them in our cars and gave us recommendations on how to transport. A little less than a week later, I had to go back due to my butt hurting so bad on the stock seat and a problem with my gears. They fixed my bike and helped me with a new seat. Madison even asked me how I was feeling on the bike and then figured out that I needed a longer stem. In less than 15 minutes, she had my stem and seat installed and I felt like I was finally able to love my bike! This is my LBS. They have been helping me since 2010. When I bought my road bike here they took the time to let me ride a lot of different models and really helped me understand what I need versus what I don't need. I love my bike and they do free tune-ups for the life of the bike and a free bike fitting. My boyfriend also goes here all the time. They always have what we need,or are willing to order it. Went in for a new tube for my old bike and they had a it for a very decent price. Later that day tried to install said new tube and managed to make a hug tangled mess of the chain. I came in with my bike and they fixed the chain for me and put it back into place at no cost. They also recommended a service to tune it up so the chain doesn't fall out of place in the future. It's a tough call... 4 stars or 5... The ONLY reason I dock a star is that they are almost exclusively Trek (I get it that Trek and Specialized require this of their dealers - it's one reason Trek has fallen out of favor with me). A wider variety of brands, like Serious or Bicycle John's, would give them a 5. Where All-Pro completely kicks Serious' and John's butts is in customer service. 5 stars for that. At Serious and John's, they're über-smart, and they make sure you know it. At All Pro, Gina et al are "wicked smaht" (use a Bostonian accent), and they treat you like you're one of their friends they ride with. If you're a newbie without a clue, they will take the time to learn what it is you're looking for, your budget and then go over the different (Trek-family) options with you. If it's gear and kit, same thing, all the way down to the humble tube and lube. Aside from warranty work on my Bianchi, I bring all my bikes here. From my kids' Target specials, to my Fisher MTB, and my two road bikes. Dave is a master mechanic who can, and will, fix anything. I have seen Calfees, Specialized, Pinarellos, etc. in Dave's bay. Maybe he's not this super chatty guy, but like a surgeon, I don't care how nice you are, as long as you're good with fixing what's broken. Another medical metaphor, Gina and the other staff are like the nurses. In my opinion, All Pro is one of the best bike shops in LA (I just wish they had more brand diversity). read more

Whether we are dropping by to pick up parts or need help maintaining our existing bikes we feel like we're walking into the set of Cheers - because everybody knows our name-you can't say that about many businesses anymore. This past weekend my husband and I both wanted to demo Trek bikes. Not only did we have a chance to test out road bikes, but we got our hands on a couple of Mountain Bikes and fell in love with the Trek Fuel 27.5. But it just wasn't the bikes it was the service at the demo that we loved. Kudos to All Pro!! Bought a 2016 Trek Fuel EX8 from them yesterday and Madison was EXTREMELY knowledgeable, patient and helpful. She took the time to fit me to the bike and set up the suspension for me just for a test ride in the parking lot not even knowing I was gonna buy it yet. Most places would just toss one at ya and tell you to ride it. She took the time to explain all the little nuances and differences between my current bike and the new one. Highly recommended. I'm a moderate rider with a 15 year old Giant road bike. After a long bout of inactivity, All Pro did maintenance on the bike and had it riding almost like new. I've always had issues with the brake adjustment being finicky, and no shop has been able to set them properly until All Pro- for that alone I'm thankful. Really nice knowledgeable folks here. Recently picked up my Trek EX-7 here. Even though I've been on mountain bikes for 30 years, they showed me some newer features on the suspension I'd not learned about before. The bike was setup perfect for me. Took it in for my one month checkup. Explained that there was a slight creaking coming from the bike. Had read a bit that the pivot bolt can cause this. Sure enough, removed cleaned lubed and replaced the bolt. Works like a charm. Great staff there and is my goto shop now. read more

I was referred to this place by my brother. He purchased a bike here and loves it. When I showed up I mentioned what type of bike I was looking for, the employee just pointed to bikes in a corner and said "look at any of those" and walked away. My issue with this is, i'm not very knowledgeable with bikes. So when asking an employee for help on which product they can recommend for my needs and not getting that help, almost made me walk out. Whatever, I stayed, after 15 mins of looking at bikes a different employee approached me and asked if I had questions, which I did, in 15 mins I walked out with a new bike. Other issue I had... Next day my kickstand almost fell off and my seat would turn sideways when riding, which isn't satisfying after spending a couple hundred dollars. This review is months overdue. All Pro Bicycles deserves much more than a 5 star rating! Gina is absolutely amazing! My wife and I did a little research online before we began our quest for new beach cruisers. Everything we read about All Pro Bikes was extremely positive so we decided to pay them a visit. We were looking for Electra beach cruisers and not your typical road bike. Please note, I know nothing about bicycles, except for the fact that performance enhancing drugs are not allowed at the Tour de France ;). Gina was very patient while we looked around and asked a million questions. She NEVER tried to "up-sell" us, which is almost unheard of in today's business world. When I walked in, I had my mind set on a single-speed cruiser but I'm so glad I took Gina's advice and got the 7 speed. My chicken legs appreciate the additional gears. Haha. They had a very nice variety of Electra cruisers in stock. If you happen to find one in their catalog, they will order it and have it to you in rapid time. They special ordered my wife's bike and had it ready for pickup within a couple of days. We have put so many miles on these things, you would think I bought Trek road-bikes, haha. read more

Dave the Master mechanic has built me custom wheels ( Chris King/ Stan's tubeless) and serviced all my bikes in an excellent manner at reasonable prices. They focus on you and your concerns and take as much time as you need to go over things. You kind of feel like family after just one visit. I got my bike tuned up there for 40 bucks (great deal) and while riding a stock piece broke (not related to the tune up). I took it back to the shop and they worked on it for about an hour and fixed it. They didn't charge me anything extra. The people here are extremely nice and knowledgable of bicycles. My husband and I went in a couple of weeks ago to get a full tune up on our bicycles. They had been sitting outside for about 2 years. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I wanted to get the full tune up/clean up which is around $100 and the gentlemen tried to down sell me on the tune up/ clean. That was a huge shock because most places try to upsell you so I appreciate them trying to do what was best for me not for them. I ended up getting the full tune up/ clean up and our bikes were amazing looking. We left out bikes there a little longer than expected because we were out of town. When we went to pick them up the staff was extremely friendly. Hands down best bicycle shop. I HIGHLY recommend coming here. read more

Well, it's hard to really give a fair review; I actually have to give two. One for bike sales and one for service. As far as bike sales, I found the prices very high. Although they offer lifetime tuneup, I really can't see paying that much for cycles when I can get one an almost half the price. But the service is outstanding! I bring in all my bikes and my kids bikes and if it's a flat or something, they fix it right there. And the price for repair is completely opposite of that of their bikes and gear. They are so knowledgeable about repair I feel like an idiot when I come in. But that's ok, they do the best job anywhere. Also want to mention they are closed on Monday. Oh, and when I bring a cheap bike in (like my kids') they never say anything about it or that they would be better in a more expensive bike. Just don't plan on getting a deal - unless you need it fixed. read more
