We live very close to this place, and it never disappoints. It's really clean. The staff are lovely and I've never had a bad meal there. Yes it's pretty basic but what they do, they do really well. We decided to go for breakfast. I ordered three eggs, any style with hashbrowns and toast. This was $12.54. I do not eat meat and often times having just eggs is not even an option.. I asked for my toast to be well toasted and all of this was executed well. The eggs were cooked as I had ordered, there was not a hint of grease on the plate. There was no taste of stale fat which you often get when the kitchen are not changing the oil as often as they should. My toast was very brown as I had asked, often times I'll ask for well toasted bread and it will come out not well toasted at all! I server told me that the owner had cooked my breakfast, which I guess is an honor lol My boyfriend ordered a breakfast burrito $13.48 with added chilis and he said it was very tasty. The icing on the cake is they have several TVs in there and the tennis channel was on and there was some live tennis going on, so we enjoyed watching that, sitting at the bar. Love All Star Burgers Cafe! They saved us during Covid with DoorDash lol. We've been coming here to dine in or doing take out for years. This morning we got breakfast. Wifey got the Vegetarian cheese omelette; avocado, tomatoes, mushrooms, and cheddar / jack cheese and onions. And hash browns. She's pretty particular about crispy hash browns and they were perfect. Visiting Joshua Tree National Park and staying in Yucca Valley for a few days. Drove by this nice little burger joint and decided we needed some good food. We were not disappointed. Everyone was happy with their food, drinks were cold and service was good as well. The zucchini fries were a big hit for sure. I had the chicken Caesar and it was a big portion, just hit the spot! This is a no frills straight up American Diner with SOLID burgers. We go here 4-5 times a year and are never disappointed.

Giving a 1 star to make a point. First, we have gone to All Star for years. Best burgers in Yucca , and perhaps, in the top 10 of our life experiences. Well cooked, buns not soggy, fresh ingredients and perfect ratios. Fries are great as well. The negative. It was so cold in the restaurant. Miserable. Lost feeling in my hands and feet. Completely, ruined the meal as I just wanted to get into the car and heat up. I asked if the heating was broken and was told "the other room to worse". So we came in and I ordered the Fish & Chips dinner. It comes with a soup or salad and two sides. I asked for zucchini and onion rings for my sides. The server tells me that's an extra side. I have the menu right in front of her & myself, so I read it out loud. She then says the fries are considered as a side. I'm like the meal is literally called "Fish & Chips" that is the actual meal. So how is that a side? After a minute or so of back & forth, she basically just says that's the way it is and too bad. I was craving a burger on my drive back from Joshua Tree so we stopped here. The inside is nice, air conditioned and clean. It was pretty empty inside but we were greeted quickly and directed to sit anywhere we'd like. Our server was polite but not very attentive or friendly. My friend and I both ordered burgers but I don't like onions so I asked for mine without. Thankfully this was just a preference thing and not an allergy because unfortunately my burger was covered in onions yet hers had none. The burgers were decent - nothing earth shattering but not bad. All star has been here for quite awhile. Not sure why I've never written a review for them, but the food is always pretty good. I live that the price you see on the menu is the price you pay. They include tax in all of their menu prices and they don't charge you extra to pay with your card. Bravo. So many restaurants try to grind you out of a few extra cents per dollar because they don't know how to include their card transactions in their menu prices. You can also tip on the card which so many small places don't let you do either. My only issue here is that service can be hit and miss. It's never bad, and they are always pretty friendly. It's just that sometimes they aren't very attentive. Not going to knock a star for it because honestly, amazing help is hard to find with the labor pool these days. A hole in the wall restaurant in Yucca Valley that has a small outdoor patio in the front. I was here with my favorite dining companion doing some exploring of the area. If you want the best burger, this is the place to go. The only problem is that you will have to refinance your house to afford it. The western cheeseburger combo was one of my favorites and for a while it was like 12 bucks or something. To me, that's kind of a lot, but they give you lots of fries, and it's the best burger I've ever had so it was justifiable. Now, it's almost 20 bucks. I'd been driving for hours and still had a ways to go. Google figured if I took windy tiny backroads in the dark that I would save 37 minutes. So maybe 90 harrowing minutes later, we emerged into Yucca Valley. Mr. P wanted a burger, so he found this place along our route. It was bright and clean, and the counter staff were friendly and welcoming. I asked how messy their burgers were - i.e., could I drive while eating one? The clerk said it could be wrapped extra tight. So I ordered a Western bacon cheeseburger combo. Mr. P got a double burger. While waiting, I used the restroom. Extremely clean and smelled fresh. In the car, true to the clerk's word, the burger had been wrapped tightly. None of it spilled out as I drove. It was very tasty, with just the right amount of cheese, sauce, veggies and grilled meat flavor. Fries were skinny and completely fried. Just needed a little salt. Delicious to the max. The Coca-cola was cold and of the high-end mix (if you know fountain syrup variations, you'll understand.) I really enjoyed my beverage. Mr. P also greatly enjoyed his burger. I ordered the ribye steak Togo for 20.00 but once I cut the fat off it took a couple ounces off. There wasn't much flavor either. I have ordered it before, and was satisfied, but not this time. We get Togo orders there alot for dinner, this was the first time we have been disappointed. I liked the food but the styrofoam packaging melted all over my fries and fried zucchini. Threw out much of my order. I really appreciate that you guys are a non-chain restaurant and that margins are tight but I feel like you can do better on the packaging side so that the fried food doesn't come in direct contact to the styrofoam.
