We needed movers who could relocate industrial size equipment from our building into temporary storage. We made arrangements with another company, but when they showed up they told us that they couldn't move it "because it's too havey for only 3 guys and therefore a liability". They were supposed to call us back within an with a recommendation for another company, but we never heard anymore from them. So we started calling other local companies. We needed somebody who could move us the NEXT day, so we were under a time crunch. I contacted Daniel and explained the situation. I told him that I needed 4 guys. He told me that 3 guys should be able to move it. So at 8:00 a.m. sharp our movers arrived. There were 3 guys: Ahmed, Tony and Michael. They were so easy to work with! We walked them thru the building and pointed out everything that needed to be placed into storage. Ahmed was concerned that the space that we had rented wasn't going to be large enough to accomodate all of our items, so I quickly ran over to the storage facility and upgraded us to a larger unit. The guys were obviously very experienced with moving large equipment! They moved all 4 pieces that the previous company had said were a "liability" without a hitch! They worked well together and we were surprised to hear that one of the guys was apparently "new" to the other two. We would have never guessed it because they worked extremely well together. They were spot on regarding our need for a larger storage unit. They stacked everything into our unit very nicely and even had a bit of space left over, at which point one of the guys asked us if we wanted them to go back and move some more:)!! They were very easy to work with, very professional, made good use of their time, were very prompt and completed our move from start to finish in the 4 hours that we had planned on! We will absolutely hire them again when it comes time to move our items into a new location. We told them that we will be calling and they told us that we can request to have the same crew move us again. That is exactly what we will be doing!! These guys are outstanding! I contacted All Star Moving on their website as they were the first to pop up in my Google Search, which tells me a business owner is savvy enough to pay attention to marketing and how to reach out to people. When I contacted them, I was talking to Mr. Daniel Hernandez the owner and we scheduled a move within 10 minutes. They have the most competitive pricing and they have plenty of trucks which make their availability GREAT! I was probably a tough client as I changed my move date twice on them and they accommodated with no issues or push back. Amazing Customer Service! They sent 2 guys with a truck and all of the proper moving equipment to my house (3 Bedroom house 2200 Square Feet) and we got everything loaded and unloaded in less than 4 hours! What makes this better is that during a move we all know that there is going to be something that gets scratched or even broken. That is just the nature of moves! When I got everything unpacked I noticed that my desk had partially been cracked. The guys had to move this very heavy desk up a very narrow stairwell and it probably just got tweaked in the move up the stairs. When I contacted Daniel he said there were two options: 1. File the insurance claim which would give me .60 a lb on the desk (Desk cost me over $1500 and this would only give me about $150 and wouldn't replace the desk if I tried) 2. OR he would have a Wood Desk professional come out and look to see if he could fix it. I was leery about this but I chose to go that route. He sent the wood guy over and he made my desk look brand new and Mr. Hernandez offered to pay the bill because he was so concerned about my happiness more than just doing an insurance claim which he had every legal right to do. I am 100% satisfied with All Star Movers and will use them every time and will recommend them to anyone. The All star movers came in and moved all my furniture into their truck, drove it to the storage unit I picked out and unloaded it into the storage room.I had the best experience with this moving company from start to finish! I would totally use them again because they made such a great effort every step of the way. I made an appointment and described the amount of furniture and size of the house I was moving out of. Based on my description the company went through the best options for me in terms of the number of movers and the amount of time it would take. Their advice was well informed and very useful! The movers arrived on time and were very professional and friendly. They were very quick on their feet and they were very careful with my items. They had even asked if I had any preferences once we got to the storage unit.... as in if I wanted any items near the front for easy access etc to make sure I was happy with the layout. I had told them the size of the unit I had reserved for storage earlier and as they started packing, they warned me that I should probably get a bigger one. They thought everything might fit but if it didn't, they would have to take everything back out and move it to a bigger unit which would cost me more for moving time. They really cared to save me money and time which I really appreciated not to mention they were right. I reserved a bigger unit and everything fit perfectly. If I had stayed with the original unit, I would have had to pay for a lot more hours for moving to fix the problem. They were a life saver! I was moving from Linda to San Marcos and had no one to help, so I decided to hire a moving company. Initially I made a few inquiries, and decided on a company. However, after I scheduled them, I decided to check out any online reviews. To my horror, I found that they had a terrible reputation and had ripped off many customers. As I began researching moving companies further, I discovered that many moving companies have terrible reputations for dishonesty and theft. I was so scared, and wasn't sure what to do about my move. I told a friend about my dilemma, and she recommended I check out movers on Angie's List. I had never used Angie's List, but thought I'd give it a try. I signed up and began checking the reviews on local moving companies. One moving company, All Star Moving Co., really stood out. Their reviews were all positive. Although their hourly rate is a bit higher than other movers, I decided to give them a try due to their outstanding reviews. I'm so glad I did! I scheduled my move with Daniel, the owner (Daniel takes all calls personally). The two movers he sent, Roland and Marcus were outstanding! These young men were extremely respectful, hardworking and didn't waste a minute of the precious time I was paying for. They took great care with all of my items, and when they saw me lifting or carrying an item they always offered to help. What could have been a disaster with another moving company, turned out to be a very pleasant experience with All Star Moving Co. Nightmare on move day but Daniel and his crew from All Star Moving saved the day for me. I had planned my move for the Sunday after Thanksgiving and hired another group of movers in advance. When they showed up, they reminded me of parolees from state prison; they were unprofessional and started out telling me what they weren't going to do. Within thirty minutes of them getting there I told them to unload whatever they had placed on the truck and I would find someone else. I had no idea if I was going to find another moving agency at the last minute on a Sunday morning following Thanksgiving. I found All Star Moving on the web and gave them a call. Within minutes, Daniel called me back and arranged to have some of his movers come over from Orange County and move my stuff. Daniel was extremely professional on the phone and very reassuring. My in-laws used Danny and the All Star guys to move them twice over the last decade, from an apartment in Dana Point to a new home in Oceanside and then later to a condo Aliso Viejo. As a result, my fiancee and I used All Star to move us from our 2nd floor apartment in Costa Mesa to our first condo in Ladera Ranch in 2001, and then to our first home in 2003, by way of a storage facility for a month long "layover"! I'm about to use them again to move to Foothill Ranch in June... my long winded point is, I'm speaking from a lot of experience. Both my mother in law and wife are antique collectors, and are VERY picky about how all of their solid wood furniture is cared for. I recently hired All Star Moving to make three consecutive moves in one day after I saw an ad on Living Social. I am so glad I did! All the moves went seamlessly due to the work of Bray and Alex. They were perfectly on time at the first location, and were very thoughtful and caring in moving all the households' items. Their friendliness, professionalism, caring, and conscientious work ethics made these moves as stress free as possible. They took the time to make sure the furniture was well secured in the truck and everything was delivered without any damage. I highly recommend All Star Moving Company! I contacted All Star Moving Company, Inc. in November 2014 after seeing them on an Amazon deals email. When I called, Daniel, the owner, answered. I asked him if they could move me in Orange County even though they are based in San Diego. He said no problem. He offered a better deal than was on Amazon and said they two employees would be at my house at 9 am. Juan and Victor arrived and were completely on the ball. They took great care of my stuff. They used moving blankets and shrink wrap on the delicate items to ensure there wasn't any damage or scratches. They also were thorough in the organization of the furniture and boxes in the truck. (The last time I moved, the guys just threw everything in the truck without thinking of how it was going to be brought out) Daniel had let me know there was a 4 hour minimum for the job. I knew I had too much furniture and boxes and it would take much longer. However, at the new condo, I was working on unpacking boxes and Juan and Victor came up and said they were finished. We used you All Star Moving Company on Monday and couldn't have been happier! Victor and Jose were our movers and they were awesome. Since Monday, I have found a storage unit in Riverside that is almost $200 less a month than the one we just moved all of our stuff into on Monday. In the second week of October we will be ready to move the rest of the stuff out of our home, which consists of only 1 king size bed and some boxes in our garage. We would now like to change our storage unit to the less expensive one in Riverside. We will hire All Star to come to our home and pick up our king size bed and boxes and then go to our two storage units in San Clemente --the ones we just had All Star move all of our furniture into on Monday -- move all of the furniture from those two storage units into your truck and take all of our furniture to the new storage unit in Riverside. I Called All Star moving Company based on reviews I saw on line. Daniel responded very quickly to all of my calls. I was doing a local move and was quoted an hourly rate. I thought 3 guys would be enough but was talked into 4 by Dan at $250 an hour (turns out he was right), which seemed like a lot, however he said the total cost would be around $1500 which is about what I had in mind. The day of the move, the crew call and told me they would be 30 minutes late due to traffic, I really appreciated that. I hate to have to call and ask "where are you?" 4 big guys showed up and busted their butts for 6 1/2 hours without even taking a break. It was a lot a work taking furniture down 2 flights of stairs. The move was done in less than a day, cost $1600 (including packing materials). I was so happy I tipped the crew $150. The best thing was this: NOT ONE WALL OR DOORWAY WAS SCRATCHED, NOT ONE ITEM WAS DAMAGED!!! I have moved several times and that was a first for me. I was very pleased. This IS as good as it gets. Looked around and got several prices. Dealt with other moving companies in the past 3 months. ALL STAR IS just what their name says! Allen and Mike are the bomb!!!!! My old house had FORTY stairs to go up to get the house..which means you have to go back down those miserable stairs as well...I moved from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom and have a lot of precious cargo, my succulent collection. I have never experienced men being so gentle with every single item of mine. I stood back without them knowing and it was amazed how gentle and careful they were. The owner is the person that actually gave me my quote by phone, and left me his personal cell phone number if I had any other questions. The quote was very fair, and less expensive than any of the other places I had called. The price could have been much higher for the quality of service I received! Jeffrey and Justin showed up at my home right on time (even a few minutes early) and quickly got to work. I wasn't as prepared as I thought I would have been because I had run out of boxes, and it didn't faze these guys at all. They had the entire place loaded up in no time at all. We needed to sadly cancel the evening before an 8:00 am move. Not only that, but it was the end of the month during the summer, and All Star had made accommodations to fit us in! We felt HORRIBLE! They only thing worse would have been them being unkind about the rude thing we did to them, especially after all they had done a lot of re arranged to fit a last minute move in for us. They were beyond gracious, not happy, and with less than 12 after hours notice, they had the right to be unsympathetic, since there was no way they could continue on with business. I cannot speak highly enough about this company and the owner Daniel. We had a local move from an apartment to our first home. I picked All-Star becasue of their reviews online and they were spot on. The owner Daniel was great and very professional. We had to move our date and he accomodated us without issue. The movers were on time and did their best to move everything with care. We have two small children and three dogs and the movers took the time to make sure the dogs didn't run out and the kids were safe when moving bigger items. One item was slightly damaged during the move, which sometimes happens, and Daniel worked with us every step of the way to get it repaired to our satisfation. Just moved into my new home today (12/18/14). The fact that I am exhausted from a move but taking the time to write a review should speak for itself, but....Peter and Tyrome were THE BEST movers I have EVER had! It was the most efficient moving experience I have ever had. All I did was call All Star Moving Company, gave them my information and sat back and relaxed.
