This place has really gone downhill I'm sad to say. I've always gone out of my way to go here when I could because the pizza used to taste so close to boardwalk pizza ...not anymore. The service I received the other day on my last visit was downright ridiculous. I called ahead and placed my order and when I get there a half hour later the food was not ready. I only ordered a cheesesteak a large pizza and an order of french fries The pizza was cold...it took the girl a while to understand that I wanted my steak cut in thirds instead of half because I am handicapped and only half my body works from having a stroke... We stumbled upon this place while going to another store, within the shopping center. I observed so many people coming in and out with food, that I figured I'd give it a try. Tonight was our 5th time ordering from here and we have yet to be disappointed. Their pizza is phenomenal, both white and plain, the buffalo cheese steak and chicken parm sandwich is really good. The counter staff are so friendly and attentive. There is hardly a wait time, especially on busy Friday or Saturday nights. Never as in never will I get pizza from this place again. Put a order in on line they delivered the pizza the day before. Then the day it was supposed to be delivered they brought it 1 hour late. It was cold and dried up. It tasted so bad it was you could not eat it. It looked like dried up puke on the pizza and the fries were cold and horrible. Street road and Bensalem in general is pretty notorious for having awful food for some reason, pizza especially. When I moved to Bensalem 2 years ago it was a STRUGGLE to find good places to get food. After trying and bring seriously disappointed by pretty much every other pizza I could get delivered to my apartment, a coworker recommended this place and it was a game changer. Their pizza is consistently good and the wait isn't ever unreasonable and their prices are good too. All their delivery guys are friendly and cool. I am a frequent customer. I love your pizza and boast about it to everyone. However, tonight you have lost me as a customer. I ordered a plain pizza wings and fries at 8:08 pm. I paid over the phone with a card and was told that my food would be delivered between 40 and 45 minutes. After an hour, I called your store and was told my food would be delivered any minute. After 30 more minutes my food was finally delivered. The driver apologized and told me that he was the only driver working. The food was cold and non-eatable at that point. I called the store back and spoke to Markos about the issue. He offered to give another pizza and have me wait another 45 minutes. I declined and asked for a refund to my card. I was then told that he couldn't authorize that and that I had to understand. First of all a customer never has to understand anything. You are always supposed take care of the customer. It is not my fault that you are short staffed. I asked to speak to the manager and was told they were not there that they were going to call them. I waited on the phone and was then told that my refund would be back on my c and rd within 2 days and that the driver was coming back to get the food which he got here faster to pick the food back up then it did to get the food delivered on time. On a Saturday night having one driver and minimal customer service, that is unacceptable. I never once got an apology nor offered compensation for my family not getting to eat the food we ordered. If I was told from the beginning that it was really busy that it would take longer than nornal to be delivered I would have picked up the food myself no problem. I'm not writing this to get a gift card or anything like that because I will no longer be a loyal customer to your establishment. I do want to make sure that a situation like this never happens again to someone else. I hope you take this experience and share it with your staff as a teachable moment because at the end of the day your profit and margins are affected. Thank you. read more

1st time my wife and I went here. She ordered a calzone I ordered a small Stromboli. When the order was finished they only made the calzone and I believe it was the owner to who made the order. But he didn't read the slip and forgot my Stromboli. Tonight I order a couple things ask for stuff on the side pick it up get home my sides are not in the bag. Very good pizza! My husband has been working in PA since December while I come back and forth to visit from FL. We love pizza!!! We have had 2-4 other places ( between us) and can't seem to find a GOOD pizza place. We have a place back at home that we LOVE and nothing seemed to compare. We usually look on Yelp and find the highest rating place and try them. The high ratings for the other places around here are not worth it!! They did not compare what we are use too for (New York style). This time I saw All Star Pizza while going to the pet store and asked my husband if he had them. He ordered while I was in the pet store and said it only had a 3 star rating. For us this was like a well it can't hurt. Well that was the day we tried them and now we have found our place to order pizza. Very happy we didn't stick to the ratings like we normally do. Best buffalo chicken pizza I've ever had. Love the blue cheese and hot mix. I've been eating it since I was about 7, favorite pizza by far.

Family members and i have ordered many times mainly because they sell gluten free pizzas. My wife ordered me a gluten free pizza and 12 all flat wings well done. What i got after an hour of waiting was a non gluten free pizza & wings that were not only not all flats but also not well done. The counter girl even went back and fourth with me that she didn't ask for all flats when i know for a fact she did seeing as though i texted her my exact order and she read it from the text. I have celiac disease and if it wasn't for the fact that i have ordered before and know their gluten free is not Sicilian i would of ate it and ended up in the hospital. Not only this but I'm disabled and after telling the counter girl over and over i was not picking up the replacement food she kept saying "you're going to pick this up right?" I've never had a problem with all star! Honestly use to brag about them and the service i received. But this was by far the worst experience I've had with them. They did correct the order (other than the wings still not being well done) which is why i still gave 3 stars and the delivery driver was very nice about having to come back read more

Horrible experience. My BF and I went in last night as we were at the Petco just a few store down. We walk in and there was no customers an clearly they were not busy as everyone was on their phones. We pick up the menus that are located on the counter and start to review them. We decided to order the Monday special (sicilian for I believe it was for $10) also the bf wanted some wings and a sandwich. He then starts to order and says we will take the Monday special. The girl at the counter said we could not have that as we had to bring our own menu in(not even sure i know what that means). Both myself and my Bf looked confused and we said I am sorry what. She then repeated herself saying we can not have that special as its not valid with the menus from the counter. I have been a customer for almost 20 years. Friday my daughter placed a order for a pizza 1/2 spinach 1/2 pepperoni and a ham and cheese hoagie. She ordered about 6:30. At 7:45 we were still waiting. Called the store and was told order was just leaving and be here in about 10 minutes. The pizza was cold and the ham and cheese hoagie was soggy. Tasted like it had been sitting on a shelf for a while. She called back,now it was about 8:00 and complained. She asked for a credit and you offered another pizza. It was blamed on the driver. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for the original we were not waiting anymore. My concern is you must be new owners, because I never ever had a problem when Maria and Luigi were there. Sad to say that I will not order from All Star again. You have lost a great customer and I will not recommend AllStar to anyone. They charge more to deliver, place looks messy hot in dining area, busy place for take out offers eat in but tight area plus help sits at tables not good. Halfway through each half, all the meat was gone. I ordered a cheeseburger or a "Bruno". The tomatoes were under the burger on the bread which made it soggy. The bacon was not thoroughly cooked, the burger was not well done but pink throughout and I ordered extra cheese for my fries which I was charged for, and didn't get. Food is fine. But if you get a delivery from them as I have, go over your receipt. They don't give you an actual breakdown. Having done the math, I knew that I was overcharged (again). Today I wrote the real numbers on the receipt and drove there to get the overcharged amount back. I showed them, in broken down numbers, what the total should have been as opposed to what I had to pay the driver. My overcharge was paid out instantly. I have saved the receipt from this order. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND TERRIBLE FOOD! I have never posted a review about any restaurant, but since I went out of my way to write the following I hope everyone takes this review seriously. I only began eating here since it was close to my work and a quick bite for a pizza, but even my first time there I was not impressed with the pizza. VERY dry for plain and pepperoni pizza - I'm not sure who can mess those pizzas up, but it was pretty bad. Tried a chicken cheese steak, nothing special at all especially for the price! There was also on several occasions when the owner was sleeping and snoring two tables away from me. The last straw was when I came in and the owner was sarcastic when I was asking him a question about my order, especially since I have been there before.
