All Temperatures Controlled was the company assigned to me when I used the Home Depot service center to get a quote on a new central AC system and new duct work. My house central AC finally died after over 20 years and I knew it was time I would have to replace it so I wanted to get some quotes. Jesse was the person who came out to my house to do the inspection. He was very respectful and wore shoe protection when he came inside my house. He explain the whole process to me and did the inspection to give me a quote. He also sent me pictures on how the unit will look like and told me a little about the company. Like how long they been in the businesses, places they did work for, they are a small family owned company and etc. I had three different contractors or companies come out to give me a quote and ATC quote was highest out of all of them but they offer financing as well. We have done business with this company for years at our business in Hollywood. We had them to our house to fix an air conditioning problem. They diagnosed the problem and came back the next day to do the repair in the attic. They'll left and never checked to see if it worked.. And of course, it didn't. We had to wait the weekend for another technician to come out only to find out the last guy crossed the wires wrong. It was a quick fix but a week long ordeal. It just seems like technicians are just getting so lazy. This was totally avoidable! read more

Thank you to Kevin Rivera, Jose and John who installed our new rooftop HVAC system and all new ducts in my 100 year old house. I went through the Home Depot home improvement site and they referred All Temperatures Controlled. Kevin was both salesman and installation foreman. His approach from the beginning was low key, knowledgeable and helpful. The installation went very smoothly and the guys were all very professional and polite. Kevin represented himself, his company and Home Depot excellently. They paid attention to small details and Jose followed up a few days later to patch and paint a place where a vent was relocated. I had received estimates from 5 other companies; 2 large brand name HVAC companies had bids outrageously high with very hard sell tactics including calling their manager to try to close a deal. "The price is going up at the end of the week!" cried the manager. Seriously? I think an estimate should be good for a set amount of time. So no to them! 1 company had a very prideful salesman who badmouthed any product that they didn't sell and expressed hurt feelings, phone calls and an email expressing dismay that I would not hire their company. Resentful stalker- so no to them. 2 small companies had bids so low as to be alarming, but of course both of them said they would do the job without permits. So- no to them. Replaced old furnace and condenser with new slimline carrier unit with heat pump. 4 ton. It took them a few times out to get everything right, but they did a great job in the end. The unit is quiet and has enough power to cool my house down like a refrigerator even in 100+ degree weather. Max came out and gave the estimate and talked through what needed to be done. He was very knowledgeable and and honest guy that only had us replace what we really needed. The initial install had several issues. Although, All Temperature Control was very responsive to get everything corrected. I now feel that it is a quality unit and quality install. Omar and Harley came out to correct all of the issues from the original install. They took their time and did an outstanding job. We were referred to ATC through Home Depot. We usually try to line up the same technician every time because they know the routine. Max C was a new technician for us last week, so I had some concerns. However, we were more than satisfied with the service he provided. I'm not sure what is worse, a company not accepting liability for the error or not responding to texts or emails? On February 17th atc performed a serice call on my heat pump.(replaced a fan motor). On March 2nd technician returned due to unit not producing heat, upon completing a diagnostic test it was revealed the prior technician failed to reopen the valve to allow coolant to flow through the lines Essentially it would be like driving a car with no oil in the engine. At this point I am told that my compressor has shorted out and needs to be replaced. Looking for a detailed explanation of the demise of my current unit I asked to be contacted by a manager.Sadly after numerous attempts to reach someone by text or email, no response.All I received was a quote to replace the compressor. read more

All Temperatures wanted to charge my fixed income, senior parents over $1000 to replace a circuit board that cost $100 on the manufacturers website... Grossly overcharging!Recently had an issue with my fan, not shutting off, called for service, All Temperature sent out a tech and charged 100 USD for a diagnostic. The technician visually diagnosed the system within minutes without any test equipment. Then we received a quote for $1000 to replace the circuit board. Do not recommend this company. They will overcharge you for parts with a 900% margin and then overcharge you for labor with an additional several hundred dollars. read more

I never scheduled an appointment with All Temperatures Controlled. Max C. from the company was inspecting a neighbor's external central AC unit when he happened to notice mine and that it had visible damage. He didn't have to knock on my door to let me know and to recommend a diagnosis, but he did. I agreed to pay for an unscheduled diagnosis, and I'm glad I did. Over the course of 40 minutes not only did he diagnose the unit in detail and walk me through all the potential problems I'd be dealing with in the upcoming summer, but he went ahead and recommended me all the potential fixes along with any downsides. Max has made me aware of a lot of issues with my system that I now have to deal with getting fixed, but he took the time to explain the problem to me in a very human and caring way.
