Brea is not far, but I probably would not have chosen a locksmith in Brea had it not been for the reviews. I have a double door with a crazy, odd lock and it was jammed up so my key would not open the door. The serviceman was extremely knowledgeable and was able to quickly fix my lock without having to rekey or replace, which I'm super thankful for since replacement would have been crazy expensive. I got a new lock and there was no question I was having Idan re-key it to match my existing key, given how happy I was with him before. Just like last time, he was highly responsive, both by text and phone (including determining the type of cylinder I had over the phone), answered my dumb questions without making me feel dumb, did the job in no time at all, and gave me an eminently fair price. Seriously. Call Idan for all of your locksmithy needs. ************************************************************** Idan is a such a nice guy, you'll WANT to lock yourself out of your house. And that's good, because a locksmith (i.e., someone who can bypass locks at will) who is creepy would just be... creepy. He texted when he was on the way, then efficiently rekeyed every lock in our new house. In addition to paying attention to keep our idiot cat inside, he generally looked over the security features in our house and made some recommendations, and pointed out the idiotic lock on the bedroom door (which we hadn't noticed) with which we could easily use to lock ourselves out of the bedroom accidentally. He also came back a few days later when I noticed an issue with one lock we had both overlooked before -- and fixed it in less than a minute. I mentioned Yelp and he knocked a few bucks off what seemed to be a reasonable price (he broke it down for me and described all the work he did). I needed my motorcycle key duplicated. I had gone to Lowes, Home Depot and Walmart. None of them do motorcycle keys. Then I went through yelp and called around until I found Idan. He didn't have any blanks for motorcycles. I told him I had a blank. So he told me that he would cut the key for free if I could bring it to him. He told me he would be close to my area in the evening and I should give him a call later to confirm. I called him up at 6 pm and asked him where I should meet him. He texted me the address and told me when to be there. I got to the location and he came out greeted me with a warm friendly smile. Asked to see the keys. Went to his van and a minute later had my key ready. I tried the key and it worked. We chatted about how I had trouble with getting the key cut and how last time I got a blank cut it wasn't cut properly and it didn't always work and took some fiddling to get it to work. He asked me if I had that key and I luckily had it on me. He took a look and basically fixed the key that the last guy didn't cut properly. He is that good. He fixed some other persons mistake on a key that the other person couldn't. Now have I have 2 fully functional spares instead of one! I am grateful to Idan for the services rendered. He has been in business for 12 years and is passionate about what he does. He is a very sincere and genuine person. If I ever need a key duplicated...he is my key guy. We recently had the need to replace our front and back door locks . The reviews on yelp were amazing. The service matched the reviews. Setting up an appointment was easy . Idan arrived on time and quickly assessed the situation. He recommended the multi lock for the front and back doors due to the security concerns I had ( someone had recently attempted to break into our neighbors house ). They are a little more pricey than the average lock rig but we'll worth it. He actually helped cut down on the costs by keeping the existing lock housing and replacing the dead bolt chambers. He was honest enough to suggest I replace the door knobs myself to save more money. He even went as far as to suggest the precise type of door knob to use. He was very efficient, communicated well , was punctual, had great rates , was up front and honest and nice overall. I would highly recommend his services to anyone . Great service, nice price! Our garage door lock was giving us trouble (or so we thought), so after finding All the Best Locksmiths through the happy reviews here on Yelp, I gave them a call. Idan was professional, courteous, and friendly, from my initial phone call all the way through the end of his visit that same day. He was genuinely interested in taking the necessary steps--thoroughly and correctly--to find out the problem and once he did, he took the time to explain what the problem was and suggest a couple of options for repair (because our problem ended up being with the door itself and not the lock, Idan wasn't going to be able to fix it). I knew we'd made the right choice calling All the Best when Idan said two things I don't usually expect to hear from service providers: 1. "Ok, that's a good thing!" (upon finding out that the problem wasn't a massive one that probably could've made him more money) 2. "A good way to save money would be to . . ." I don't often write reviews on yelp, but I felt the need to for this one... when I originally read his reviews I thought there were way too many 5 star reviews to be true, but I gave it a shot anyway =) Idan showed up literally 20 minutes after I called him today (Sunday), and he finished within 1 hour to re-key 2 schlage commercial locks for our warehouse. I had to call for emergency service because someone broke into our car and stole my spare warehouse keys. He fixed both of our commercial doors for $85 (price varies by lock type and condition). He offered some useful suggestions for changing out our padlocks, although he didn't try to oversell me on padlocks. He has a very honest and holistic approach to his profession, and I'm sure you will see that out of him if you work with him as well. Called and spoke to Idan about a re-key and possibly an upgrade of my locks. Scheduled an appointment for later that day. Idan was very nice, and right on time. Upon inspection of my locks, he gave me the options. I could get a cheap re-key of the existing lock, or he had an option to upgrade to "High Security" locks. I chose to replace the cheap locks that the builder used with the new high security locks. Fortunately the exterior oil rubbed bronze hardware was kept in place, and only the lock cylinder needed replacing. He was quick, kind, and professional. He asked that I send a picture of the door, which in turn, I sent a video of my exact problem. I wanted to replace the door lock with a keypad / bluetooth type lock. Since my locks were Baldwin, he suggested I would save much more money by contacting Baldwin (lifetime warranty) to get the parts I need, then call him back to fix it.
