The Axxess card has a promotional deal here so I decided to try it with a friend in town. The moment we arrived we felt un-welcomed. We were told to sit one place and then asked to move because it was set for someone "with reservations", granted the website does not mention needing reservations. Upon leaving, one of the women working told us she would be better prepared if we "made reservations next time." The customer service overall was lacking. Today I had to replace all the water supply flexes in all the shops and restaurants where the tea shop is located and this place has the cleanest kitchen I have done work in and I've been a plumber for over 30 yrs, I'm saying the bottom of the sinks, underneath the sinks, totally clean, I was afraid I was going to get it dirty, lol, the shop is also very tidy, next I'll have to go when open to try the goods I would definitely eat there anytime. read more

My girlfriends and I had a fantastic Downton Abbey themed tea lunch this afternoon at All Things Tea . Everything from the beautiful table linens , porcelain teacups and citrus scented sache keepsakes to the delicious lavender lemonade and crustless quiche to the Lady Grey lavender scones served with fresh lemon curd and whipped creme fresh to the incredible cucumber and watercress sandwiches and the ham and Brie sandwiches with tarragon and a homemade honey mustard, a variety of tastefully selected hot teas , and exquisite desserts of fresh fruit , which included Victorian sponge cakes with whipped creme fresh and berries and chocolate tarts with a vanilla crust was executed magnificently ! Playing on a big screen TV was the Downton Abbey series on DVD's added to the special afternoon. We couldn't have imagined a more spectacular and appropriate engineered event . A delightful little place tucked away in a shopping center, which is right off the freeway, and very easily accessible. I desired a quiet nook in which to take tea, and spend an afternoon, and this place fit the bill. I was warmly greeted for my 1:30 p.m. reservation, and given my tea options. I had the Crown Tea, which comes with 4 small tea sandwiches, a sweet, fruit, and a scone with lemon curd, preserves, and cream. I was set to try the Ootha, a white tea from India, but the owner, a certified tea specialist, recommended the White Peony, which had a delicate flavor, and complemented the food nicely. This place is suitable for kids, as there was a one-year-old dining with his family next to me. I'll be bringing my mom and son back here in December for the Christmas Tea, and can't wait! read more

I wish I had something nice to say, but I'm very embarrassed that I told my girlfriends that I wanted to try the tea experience for my birthday. First off, we have never done an afternoon tea so we didn't know what to expect, when the owner was explaining menu, she made no logical sense with the food menu with the tea experience. We didn't mind spending $30 a person, but she came off as we couldn't afford it. She would say, "well it's $5 for a pot" and??? Then she judged us for ordering Matcha....and she was like...."we never pair matcha with our food!" Really? Who cares what we order? We're giving you business. We decided to purchase from the A la carte menu because My friend has a food allergy so certain teas she can be allergic to as well as the tea pairing. The service is super slow, I don't care if it's an "English"'setting. It took us an hour to get a pot of tea and a simple sandwich. The tea is good and the sandwiches were decent. 3/13 For a shop in such a bad location you would think the customer service level would be better. I went in and a blonde woman came up front to help me. She told me almost nothing about the tea I looked at. She didn't ask me any questions or even offer any suggestions. I bought three different teas and after every tea she asked me "Is there anything else you want to look at?" I felt like she didn't even care I was in there. 3/15 Everyone deserves a second chance. This was my thought process when I went back to the store. I liked the tea I got last time so I was willing to give the shop another chance. I was met by the store owner who said she read my first yelp review and did not appriciate it. But instead of trying to figure what I didn't like about my last visit and fix the problem I was pretty much told that the reason I didn't enjoy my experience was my fault. I did not ask her any questions. I tried to explain that she didn't ask me any questions or even offer any suggestions so that's why I felt the way I did and posted my review. She took notice of my teavana bag and made some comparisons between the two stores before telling me she felt like she didn't need my business. It's my personal opinion that she let the way she felt over my review contol her actions. I wasn't rude when I came in either time and in my first review all I did was say how my experience made me feel. I thought the point of yelp was for business owners to see what people like and don't like so they can fix any problems. But aparently at All Things Tea if you are one of the rare people who don't have a perfect experience you have to keep it to yourself because if you publicly say anything about it you will not be allowed to shop there anymore. I used to tell all my friends how I loved this place, and come whenever we were I'm the area. That has all changed in one visit. From the start to the finish, the owner was unbelievably rude to our group and made us feel so uncomfortable. She had a more lucrative group there I guess that she chose to impress and treat us like peasants. We will never return and will make sure to spread the word of the poor customer treatment. The tea selection is good, the food is ok but over priced for what you get, and the staff is great. The owner, however, is an uptight, anxious, rude lady. My granddaughter had requested a tea party for her fifth birthday present. I found All Things Tea and I'm so happy I did. It couldn't have been more perfect - a great introduction to high tea for her. The service was attentive and sweet. The food was delicious. After all these months of being a Yelp member, I knew I was saving my first review for someplace special! I am so excited to have stumbled upon this specialty, loose leaf, tea shop. Donna, the owner, is extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and kind hearted. I've been coming into the shop for about a year now, maybe once or twice a month to order the GREEN TEA SMOOTHIE. It's absolutely delicious. I get the unsweetened version with almond milk...a healthier and (in my opinion) yummier option. Within two visits Donna had my order memorized and as soon as she would see me walking up to the shop door she began gathering the necessary items to make my delicious, pick-me-up smoothie. Recently, I was diagnosed with gallstones and was advised to stay away from caffeine by my health care provider. Naturally, this diagnosis made me emotional, fearful of another gallstone attack, and confused about how to eat properly and readjust my life. After cutting coffee and caffeine cold turkey, I knew that herbal tea would be the next best option and Donna would be my go-to woman. I told her my issue and immediately she was able to tell me which teas are good for my immune system, which to stay away from, what might give me the best energy boost, and she also threw in some life experience which I was delighted to be provided with. She spent a good 20 minutes, maybe longer, advising me on teas and other thoughts she had regarding my situation. In addition to all her helpful advice, she gave me some teas to take home and trial while I figure out my diet/lifestyle adjustments. She said she knew it was a difficult time for me and just wanted me to be comfortable and healthy. I thought this woman was wonderful just for simply memorizing my tea preference and being so friendly on a regular basis, but this was the icing on the cake! We found this place while driving around, not bad! They have a pretty good selection of teas, the prices are proportioned and the people there are nice. We went a couple times and both times the sellers were really trying to sell. I only wanted to try one tea and they kept asking me, almost forcing me, to buy other stuff. I first started going to All Things Tea with my best friend while I was still in college over four years ago. We both love tea and trying new things. This is the perfect place for both. There are so many flavors of tea that if you came in every other day I'm not even sure you'd get through them all in a year. Donna is incredibly knowledgeable of her craft. If I ever had a question about tea, even something extremely obscure or specific, I'm positive she'd know the answer. We've talked with her for a while before and were fascinated with how she's been all over the world to become a Certified Tea Master. The tea here really demonstrates how much experience she has. I started bringing my significant other here a couple years ago and now he has a bit of an obsession with their tea. We always have some in our cabinet. Their red teas are my favorite, and actually this was the first place I ever tried a rooibos. It was Donna who had suggested it after I had told her what other teas I liked. I am very thankful for that suggestion! The pastries and other treats are top notch here. My favorites are their bread pudding and their scones. The bread pudding is served with piping hot homemade caramel sauce and the scones with fresh whipped cream and lemon curd. There's really nothing better than that. Cute shop! It's hard to find loose leaf tea locally, so I was excited to see this shop open. There's a "tea of the day" that you can sample for free, and also some yummy pastry bites. I had wonderful service and bought a couple varieties of rooibos that are delicious. Finally! A place where I can buy rooibos in more flavors than just vanilla. Went today for a quick tea and lunch, with my daughter. What a hidden gem!! We had the Tea for two, which was 2 sandwiches, 2 scones, 2 dessert and pot of tea. We tried the chicken salad sandwich and the ham and havarti cheese. Both were delicious! I especially enjoyed the chicken salad which was made "lighter" with out all the mayo of traditional chicken salad. The flour less chocolate cake was excellent also. The room is lovely & very, very clean I had Afternoon Tea; tasty salmon cream chz sandwich, with a scone & flourless choc cake served with a full pot of tea Every bite was delightful. The scone was light and fluffy, the Devon cream & lemon curd were scrumptious. Even the strawberries that garnished the two tiered serving tray were delish. But, honestly, the flourless choc cake was THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD. There is serious baking going on here. If I lived in the area I'd eat here several days a week. Highly recommended!
