Had such a delicious brunch at All Together Now! They are first coke first served and we got there around 11:45 and waited about 10 minutes! Krissy was our server and she was awesome! Super knowledgeable about the menu and had a very warm and inviting vibe to her. She recommended us about 5 things from the menu and we obviously ordered all of them. One of the best meals I've had in awhile. Brothers and Sisters has everything you could want in a cafe - excellent staff, delicious food, incredibly good coffee, reasonable prices, chill environment...and dranks! :) This is a pretty casual spot, you order at the register then food & drinks are dropped off at your table. Our coffees came out first and I'm not a coffee expert by any means but...the cold brew ($4) I had was rich & tasty. I usually can't tell much of a difference from one coffee to the next but could see a distinct difference in the flavor of their cold brew. They use Hellion and it had great depth to it. Loved it. My friend ordered the Creamed Eggs ($12) which I've only had one other time in my life in NYC. Brothers and Sisters is served over toast & pork fat collard greens, topped with pickled pearl onions and a bit of pepper & lemon. The creamed eggs alone were divine, but when you pair them with a bit of the greens & bread...it's hard to even explain the explosion of happiness in your mouth that occurs. I'm rarely blown away by dishes these days and that was achieved at Brothers and Sisters with the creamed eggs. I've been craving them since. My main dish was the Roast Beef and Raclette with Blackberries, Caramelized Onions and Aioli on Sourdough ($12). Such an interesting combination and loved it but for me personally, there were a bit too many blackberries and not enough raclette. Balance was a bit off and I realize that probably just comes down to my personal preference but overall a fantastic dish. I'd definitely get it again. I was so impressed by Brothers and Sisters in every aspect! I am so happy they've come to my 'hood and are walkable from me. Score! All Together Now is problematic for me. On one hand, the space is super warm and unique - I've loved the vibe of the restaurant each of the three times I've visited - the staff is friendly and it's clear that the owners are focused on quality of ingredients. They offer some impressive-looking charcuterie, some reasonably-priced wine, and some delightful-sounding dishes that change quite often. On the other hand, you can spend $25 here and while you will probably walk out full, you may not walk out satisfied. The issue I've found at All Together Now is the cost vs. portion. I once was the kind of person who would complain about small portions when paying a premium on food. These days, I'm happy to get less food for my money, I just want to be satisfied. At All Together Now, the ingredients and recipes are there, but the amount is too small, and while I left full, I was not happy with what I got for my money. Today, I visited for lunch. I bought a Farro/Raisin salad for $10. Filling, tasty, perhaps overpriced. I've had better Farro dishes here in the past, but it was fine. I also bought the French Exit, which is an Italian style sandwich on a very hard, but delicious, baguette. Again, the quality of the ingredients are great. The flavor is there. It's a lot of bread, so yes I am full, but it is just not. Enough. Meat. It's really a laughable amount (see the photo for yourself). And what's frustrating is that the sandwiches seem to differ in size dramatically. They used to have another Italian-style sandwich that was much larger and it was just about perfect for me, but this one? Skimpy. For the same $12, I can head 3 blocks South where there's an Italian corner store and get an 18-inch Italian sub, bursting with fresh cut meat and cheese. Now I know I'm comparing apples to oranges. The corner store doesn't have a warm and stylish dining room to sit in. Their music is coming from a broken boombox from the early-80's, not in stereo sound all around you. And after all, I don't need 1.5 feet of sandwich for lunch, but my point is that you can get more bang for your buck somewhere else, and while the sandwich I get at that neighborhood corner store won't be quite as artisanal as what I can get at All Together Now, I'd rather have the big-ass sub. I think about going to All Together Now for lunch at least once a week, but I almost never do, because I'm worried that I'll spend more and get less than I wanted. And I want to love this place, so I avoid it. I want to be a regular - they just need to figure out how to make me feel better about giving them my money. read more

I had high hopes for the place but the food was ultimately pretty disappointing. My friend and I came here for dinner and the menu looked promising. I got the pistachio-crusted walleye and my friend got the wood-ear pasta with miso. The walleye was fresh and perfectly cooked but the lack of seasoning/salt was a huge disappointment. I liked the cauliflower on the side and the yogurt on the bottom, but again, needed more salt. On the other hand, my friend's pasta was way too salty. The flavor of the miso butter sauce was interesting, but it could have been done much better, in a more subtle way. I really love this place. It is a bit far, so I don't get to go as often as I'd like. I love the wine selection, it's really awesome. The prices are reasonable too. I love their community vibe/atmosphere. The selection of local meets and cheese is also great. I have not had the chance to actually eat at the restaurant because of covid closures. I would love to sit on their patio for a meal and will update my review when I do that. The owner has been there every time I've gone. So it's nice to meet her. Confit chicken & eggplant: the chicken thigh was a tad dry. The maitake mushrooms were plainly the star of this dish. Crispy & earthy, really nice. I have a shroom fetish. Heirloom tomatoes & chèvre: really fuckin nice. Ding ding ding!!! Creamy buttery load of chèvre topped w juicy luscious full bodied tomatoes. & the micro greens are too cute. Fried goat cheese curds: yo, you can make curds from goat cheese (wut/obviously). This is good; i liked it bc it was crispy & the pepper honey all up under it made it worth my while. Grilled romaine: overall this was fine. I'm sensing a theme at this point in the reviewing process (long o) where I'm remembering the accoutrements of the dish as more favorable than the actual lead role. Hmm.. there were seeds & fried garlic chips all over the romaine that were fun to eat & better than the romaine. Crispy fingerling potatoes: cmon. Eat these. Green salad: tarragon dressing on this was so nice. Needed salt though. The daily board: the cheese board was a perfect 10/10. Malted Oreo ice cream: i really have a malt, as well as a shroom, fetish & this wasn't as malty as i had hoped. Sometimes bitter & kind of lacked Oreo but it wasn't the worst ice cream i ever had. This was on the top of my list of places to try. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed. This was my second attempt at trying the restaurant due to the lack of seating. Right when you walk in, it's a beautiful restaurant with an odd set up on what to do and where to go. It's a first come first serve seating. However, even if you are there first and just browsing the wine, you might have someone come in and take your spot, as none of the staff is really paying attention. My husband and I came here pretty hungry on a Sunday morning. We ordered the French exit, chopped salad, paired with an iced coffee and sparkling white wine. The French Exit was so small and the taste was overwhelmed with mustard seeds--and I'm a mustard lover. The salad was hard to eat, as it was still in large pieces. I like mortadella thinly sliced, but it's not very tasty cubbed up in a salad. Reminded me of a salad with hotdogs sprinkled all over. I'm a huge fan of charcuterie, wine, and small plates, but I wasn't impressed by anything but the aesthetics of the restaurant. This is such a perfect neighborhood spot. Yes it is small, but really to me that's part of the charm. The availability of products to purchase in the market section is unique and a nice to have in the neighborhood as well. We stopped in for a light dinner and had a dealer's choice cheese and charcuterie plate, the asparagus salad, and a bottle of wine. Tip -- if you want a glass of wine, consider buying the bottle instead. The bottle prices here are insanely reasonable. We also took 3 bottles of wine home - all under $35 each -- which for natural, unique wines we thought that was a steal. Tried out this new neighborhood spot a few weeks ago for breakfast. I love the idea of more neighborhood spots in the area. I love the fact that you can buy wine and cheese at the front and also eat in the back. The decor is so cute...a little eclectic and different. You can definitely tell that they were still trying to get their feet under them for breakfast. Coffee was served without accompaniments. We had to ask for them. They did not have a lot of variety for breakfast. We didn't receive napkins or silverware until our food was served however I would've liked a napkin to have with the coffee. Alas, despite all this, the food was delicious!!!! Creamed eggs were fantastic!!! I had to ask for some hot sauce and could've used a touch of salt but it was really amazing. I came here for my breakfast and I only ordered Creamed Eggs Over Toast and Bagel Platter. They have quick service so it came in just a minute. Creamed Eggs Over Toast is a toasted bread with some topping of creamed eggs. It has the same flavor of mayonnaise with smashed boiled eggs but the best version. It was creamy and I could taste some butter on it. I like the crunchiness of the toasted bread. I liked it so I ordered 2 of them. One of the dishes that I would recommend to you is their Bagel Platter. It's like a donut. The best thing here is that it has a different kind of sauce. Came here for lunch today 12/16/18 as I had passed by it a few days ago when it had just opened. I had the French exit sandwich which was a perfect balance of light and tasty I was looking for and my fiancé had the roast beef which was a big and rather filling sandwich if your hungrier but certainly no complaints and both were great! I have attached some pics too. Service was outstanding and the owners Erin and Derek (hope I spelt that right ;)) were extremely welcoming and pleasant to be around. The bomb diggity. No questions about that. Great vibe and people who are always trying to help you navigate the world of charcuterie and libations. My go-to is the fried egg sandy and my husband swears by the roast beef dip. I love the side of root veggie slaw which makes me feel as I'm being healthy-ish. Also recommend grabbing a tub of the pimento, Spanish olives and cornichons on your way out. And duh, don't forget the wine (all pretty reasonably priced IMO for the quality). During COVID19 we have participated in their social distancing edition menu (Ragu polenta? YAS) and have done their family weeknight dinners as well as their weekend hand-rolled bagels. I'm so impressed with their creativity to support the business and protect their employees. If you are going to spend your dollars somewhere I highly recommend doing it here. My boyfriend and I stopped in here after doing some Sunday errands and laundry. We had never been but I had seen them pop up in a few previous yelp searches and wanted to check them out. As soon as we walked in the environment was warm and welcoming. We ended up getting the chicken liver mousse with ricotta and house made cracker and jam - delicious! My ONLY issue was the food runner/busser they were rude as hell. I asked to keep a glass (an expensive glass of wine) becaus I wasn't finished, yes I had two but the space was full and I wanted to try as many as I could, all I got was a stare and "well, were short on glasses so I need these." So i chugged my wine. Frankly the runner was looking at $120 of wine btg-- I'm not sure that we were the problem, cost analysis wise. But I can understand being short on glasses. I'll always go back, nearly everyone I've ever dealt with there has Been great. I hope the food runner was just having a bad night, which would be understandable as it was stressful. read more
