We had ALL YEAR come to our home twice before to check out the system. We had water coming out the secondary drain line and wanted it checked out. The first time was late in 2022 and in early 2023 we had them come back out to check the drain situation. The water was still coming out the secondary drain after the second visit. On June 30 2023 was the third visit the employees name was Sean and after being in the attic for about 3 hours he came down and grabbed his PVC kit and proceeded to capped off the secondary back up drain. When he came down from the attic he said our system was an abortion and he needed to pick up and install a float valve in our secondary overflow drain. He called later that afternoon telling us he could come back on Saturday to install this part. This was going to cost $750.00. At this point we did not call him back due to the tone in his voice and the fact that the system was running. We also received advice from our neighbor that new the company and retired doing HVAC. At this point we had no idea that he capped the secondary drain. The capping of the secondary drain overflowed over the weekend, it overflowed in are attic causing extensive damaged and mold in the ceiling. I believe this was done in an attempt to get us to purchase a new system. After going back and forth with this company no resolution was reached. We spoke with Greg the owner on several occasions and his solution was to sent out 2 guys and have them lift one side of our system to place it more on an angle. This for the low price of $1,400.00 this was would solve the secondary drain issue. In the end I called a different HVAC company and had a new system installed and the mold and dry wall repaired. $9,440.00 for a new HVAC unit, also the repair cost in damages to our attic, hallway & mold damage. read more

Yesterday the temperature was 114 and broke the previous record of 108 for that date. About 5 pm my unit stopped cooling, the unit outside was making a humming noise and the fan was not turning, it was freaking hot. Called All Year about 8 am this morning and talked to Vickie one of the owners, she said it was probably the capacitor, they are dropping like flies because of the heat. Since I was a plan member, she made an appointment for tomorrow afternoon and said she would try to get to me sooner. About 10 am Vickie called and could have someone come out around noon. Never keeps scheduled appointments. Gives excuses after excuses for not showing up on time. Work is subpar because my HVAC System they installed always is breaking down. In fact the motherboard of my system was fried because All Year should have installed surge protectors when I bought the units from them. The don't service the system yearly-maintain, or even alert me to the fact that the HVAC needs a yearly tune up. Their competition, is just as bad and more expensive. Getting tired of VICKY giving me the brush off. But finally two different employees fixed my AC. It took brainstorming by their top employees/ owners to have the know how but I'm happy because the wife is. Took replacement of many parts to get the AC on again. read more

Greg and Vickie are fantastic. They are husband and wife owners whose son is also one of the technicians, and you feel it when you interact with them -- you are dealing with real human beings with real lives, not some distant larger company where the faces and names are all swappable. My wife and I just bought a house with an ADU built into the garage, and we needed heating without gas or ducts. After some research we discovered mini-split systems, and figured that might be our brass ring solution. At first I called a larger HVAC company bc I had seen their advertisements everywhere. However, when their technicians came and did the eval, I felt like a number. They had recommendations about how to do the install that didn't quite add up, and quoted me twice what I was expecting. I know nothing about HVAC installation, but didn't feel quite right, so I went back online in search of someone smaller, and found All Year. Thanks goodness I did. Greg came to the house himself to do the eval. He was warm, soft-spoken, and explained things in ways that make sense. He clearly had deep knowledge of both the industry and the technologies (they have been doing this work since the EARLY EIGHTIES). He seemed to understand what we wanted more, and his quote was much more in line with the mini-split costs I had researched. They did the install the following week, and all went great. Also, both Vickie and Greg were super helpful in sorting out permitting, which is a little fuzzy when it comes to garage ADUs. Since the install, the mini-split system has been awesome. It has turned our ADU from "permanent man cave" to "coziest location in the house." I will definitely be calling All Year again, and couldn't recommend them more. read more

OVER CHARGED!!!! I waited for them from 8-2 as required and finally a man showed up at 3:30 to look at the my air conditioner. I was told that there might be a problem with the condenser that could only be diagnosed if he had come at 8 a.m. to find out that there might be a problem cost $170. I was told an email would be coming to give me options about what could happen next. two days later I am still waiting for the email. We had a problem with the heating system on our second floor the other day, which became a serious problem when we realized how cold it was getting in the baby's room. All Year had a tech out to our house quickly, and he quickly diagnosed the problem. Apparently our house's prior owners, or their contractors, had done some "chewing gum and chicken wire" style repairs that forced the tech to make several trips to the store for parts. He worked over time, but the price was reasonable and we appreciated having warm heaters that night. I highly recommend their service. read more

I recently got a call from my mother who lives in Sun City. It was the 1st hot weekend of the season & her A/C wasn't blowing cold air. We changed the batteries in the thermostat & it quit working completely. She was in a state of panic. I called All Year & scheduled an appointment for someone to come out. She started bracing for the inevitable - having to replace the unit like many of her neighbors. When Jason arrived he was very professional. He quickly reset the thermostat & started on the unit. Had a relative straight forward service and repair call. First off, when I called to make the appointment, I asked if service fee ($85) would go towards the overall invoice and was assured it would. Needless to say it didn't... Although the part replaced was inflated, it is totally understandable as they are in the business to make money... What wasn't understandable is the charge for replacing a 40 amp barrel fuse (Maybe $8.00 for package of two) was charged $48.00... Too many other good companies out there to waste your time with being gouged by this one! read more

The service tech Greg called ahead of time to ensure us that he was going to be there within the specified time frame 8:30 - 9:30 am. Not the typical "some time between 8 am and 5 pm...". He completed the job quickly and he also informed us that the part was actually under warranty so we only had to pay for labor which was reasonably priced. All Year may be fine with other heating systems, I don't know. But we have had a terrible experience with their geothermal system. They installed it, and at first it worked fine. I remember the owner standing there and saying it would never leak. After a few years, it had to have water added because it leaked. They came and fixed it. Not susrprisingly, it happened again a few years later, and they charged us $450 to fix. Now a few years later, it needed water again, and this time they charged us $800. They act like somehow its our fault when they are the ones who installed a leaky system. Now they want to charge us $1500 to put in a permanent fix that will slowly add water to the system. What a ripoff. Companies should stand behind their work and fix it when they've screwed up. If they do put in a geothermal system for you, watch carefully, and make sure it is all as deep as it is supposed to be. There were areas that were shallower than others, up to just 4 feet deep, but it seems like there is some other basic problem besides. Nice people- wish they'd stand by their work. The workers said that for most geothermal systems, they never have to return, but for a few like ours, they are "problem children". read more
