(Quick tip: Some plate-mounted cameras can obstruct part of your license plate, like the state name or motto, which could technically get you pulled over for plate obstruction!) I wanted something that looked factory-installed, not like an aftermarket add-on, and Pro Car Sound and Security in Malden delivered exactly that. I stopped by after work on a Friday, and the place was buzzing like a club--people were coming and going non-stop. Clearly, this is the spot in Malden. As soon as I walked in, they took care of me immediately. The staff was super friendly and kept offering snacks and drinks from their well-stocked snack station. The bathroom was spotless, and there was plenty of seating. Plus, their shop had all kinds of cool gadgets to check out while I waited. They have appointments open constantly and 'reservations' are easy to make. In terms of quality, I have been in there twice--once because my 'check engine' light lit up and the other for the 45,000 mile routine maintenance--and the results couldn't have been better. Problems are discovered quickly and solutions are provided even faster. What sets theCARS Company apart from any other car shop I've been to is their customer care. Point in case: recommending a cheap buff-and-polish job for the many bumps and scratches on my car as opposed to an extremely expensive paint job. Need another example? They offer discounts and coupons constantly. They don't hide them from you. In fact, make sure to politely ask if they have any available and they will respond honestly. Believe me, they've got your back and they're looking to protect your wallet. They seem genuinely interested in your best interest and not on making a quick buck. I have to say, I was very happy with this place, particularly the service of the mechanics that work there and their willingness to help me, despite my strange requests. That's the short story. The long story is, I noticed a very unpleasant smell in my car (a few months after I spilled some bean juice in my car, and I thought I had cleaned it up). It seemed to be coming from the back seat, so I went crazy trying to mask/clean it. i used baking soda, whole bottles of Fabreeze, even bleach, still no luck. Finally, I decided I had to look underneath my seat (its a bench seat) to see if there was some kind of bean juice cesspool growing down there. Now, I have no idea how to get this seat up, so I had no choice but to swallow my embarrassment and ask help from someone that would know. I'm sure these guys thought I was crazy, but they were very nice to me all the same, and obliged my request to pull the seat up. They didn't notice it at first, but when they pulled up a cloth sound barrier, it hit them like a wall! They recommended I replace it and even called dodge to see if they had a part for me, but they couldnt find it. I endued up wiping down the underside of the seat and bleaching the sound barrier. Car has smelled fine ever since! So basically, I was just really happy that these guys were willing to help me and didnt give me as many strange looks as I probably deserved. This may have not been a typical car problem, but I could tell by how they treated me and carried themselves that they were professionals.

First, they lost my piece for over three months. I finally showed up in person and it was found - minus the custom screws needed to put it back as it was intended. Undaunted I proceeded to try replacement screws and promptly cracked the $80 plus 13 x 17 or whether mirror they had installed. So I'm now down $80 plus $600 in refunds to unhappy guests at my AirBnb. We are now into moth 12 from the date I first dropped it off and the apparently lost it again. Do not make the same mistake I made. Do no give them your business.
