    RIGATONI AI TRE FUNGHI is to die for. I'm still dreaming of that dish. Can't wait to have it again. Fettuccine bolognese is also a hit. Eggplant parm pizza was a nice surprise. Perfect date night. Service was very friendly. Romantic ambiance.

    Quick stop on the way home from playing tourist for the day - I was tired and hungry from not having eaten all day. Got sat immediately without reservations at 7pm on a Friday night which is always a special treat. Everyone there was super friendly and service was impeccable. Except we weren't offered a drink nor were we read the specials - which we didn't even notice until we had a different server at the table next to us going through everything. It was a blessing really as we just wanted to eat and leave. I had the penne arrabiata which is my go to when there are too many delicious choices. It was good. I could only eat half as it was a generous serving. Not the best one I've ever had but it hit the spot. However we got a bit of bread before the pasta with a dipping oil with herbs and sundried tomato and garlic that I wish I could have poured over my pasta - it was delish! Great atmosphere / I would love to go back and try something else.

    Hadn't had Farfalla in years and ordered take-out from them this Sunday and was happily surprised. Started with the Contadina, light veggies with goat cheese that was seasoned perfectly and rich in flavor. The pastas were delicious! My favorite was the Farfalle al Salmone, bowtie pasta with peas served in a light pink sauce. The Tagliolini Gamberetti was also delicious and a bit lighter in flavor. My favorite pasta here was the Ravioli di Zucca, though I haven't had that in years. I did also order the apple tart which arrived cold, but I'm thinking that's cause this was an Uber Eats order. The flavor was still great and the apples delicious, I'm certain this must taste amazing fresh and warm. As far as delivery Italian food goes, this was a win! Parmesan cheese and bread on the side, dishes all packaged extremely well, and all items arriving fresh and tasty. Will definitely be ordering from them again and will gladly go in person as well.

    Came here for dinner as I had been craving the pumpkin ravioli. Came here multiple times over the years and the pumpkin ravioli was so flavorful, and hadn't been in some time so stopped by. It was busy for a Monday evening but we were seated right away and waters were brought right out. Next came the bread with an olive oil mixed with garlic and other items. It doesn't necessarily feel the bread is made in house, but it's a basic little pre-meal snack. Our server went over the daily specials and mentioned a smoked mozzarella pizza, so we tried that along with the ravioli de zucca (pumpkin ravioli in a walnut and cream sauce). The pizza was decent but not necessarily something I will remember. It didn't have that fitness when holding it out, it flopped down like it was sad due to the heaviness of the cheese on the front end and it melting through, making the crust soggy. As for the ravioli, I had been craving it for some time but it just didn't hit like it used to. It tasted like something was missing from how it used to be prepared. Really can't put my finger on it but it just didn't carry that same flavor it had in the past, and that was a disappointment. Overall, an ok meal but something was just off with both dishes, unfortunately.

    The penne pasta was absolutely delicious. It was creamy but still dynamic and was such a comfort food. The pasta was cooked well and the sauce was perfect with it. I did not particularly love the pizza because I felt the cheese tastes too "milky" but my sister liked it and said it tasted fresh. The starting bread was super underwhelming along with the garlic confit. The bread was hard and cold. The pasta stole the show for sure!

    Farfalla is such an underrated gem. I came here on a Thursday evening and was seated immediately upon arrival. I made reservations a couple days in advance just in case, but the restaurant was pretty quiet that evening. The waiters were all so friendly and made me feel at home. They serve complimentary bread with the most amazing flavored olive oil (dried roasted tomatoes and garlic, yes please). We ordered the calamari fritti as the app and it was fantastic. Super light and fresh, it's the perfect spring/summer dish. For the mains, we got the tagliolini cozze e vongole and rigatoni al tre funghi. The portions were extremely generous and we had leftovers to take home. Both pastas were incredible and had so much flavor. I especially enjoyed the richness and umami flavors of the funghi pasta. I will definitely be making a trip back here to satisfy any of my Italian food cravings. Well done Farfalla.

Make no mistake, even if you try to book a reservation several weeks in-advance, don't be surprised if the only available seats are at the counter. Granted, I was in a spacey table during my past visit, the counter can be an enjoyable & unintentionally entertaining space. It's great for a more casual vibe, as you get to see some of the kitchen workers put together some of their signature dishes. In many ways, Bestia seems like a microcosm of the city that it rather humbly resides within. It's a humble yet complex pasta dish that complements any main course. 26oz Margaret River Wagyu Ribeye - 9.4 / 10 Anybody who knows me knows that I love my ribeye. Any decent fancy restaurant does a ribeye. But no one does a ribeye quite like Bestia. The fermented mushroom cream delivers a punch of pungence not unlike a delectable dijon mustard, but to the highest of levels. This dish also makes me a believer in well-cooked onions served alongside steak. I usually like to take a home a portion of ribeye for later, but this is one of the very few instances when the steak is so good, that I can't help but finish it here. Again, the portion is more than enough to be shared. Fromage Blanc Mousse - 9.1 / 10 This seasonal dish hits all the right notes. It's the fanciest of cheesecakes, so I recommend sharing this. The potatoes were another surprise favorite--super crispy and served with a house-made aioli that made them impossible to stop eating. The chicken parm was excellent too: crispy, fresh, loaded with sauce, and exactly what you want from a classic Italian-American dish. The meal ended on a high note with complimentary limoncello shots from the house. For dessert, we had the tiramisu and panna cotta. The experience did not disappoint -- it was beautiful from beginning to end. Our extraordinary server was James. He was engaging, attentive and unpretentious. His knowledge of the menu was impressive as he explained each section and item in a simplified way. After making our choices, he suggested changing one of our pasta selections since they all had heavy sauces. We accepted his recommendation of the Spaghetti Arrabbiata, which turned out to be everyone's favorite! The tomato-based sauce was light and perfectly spicy. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was amazing. The focaccia, oxtail meatballs and burrata with ham were a great start, showcasing the quality of the ingredients and thoughtful preparations -- they set the tone for our entire meal. The taste and texture of the freshly made pastas were unmistakable and so, so good with the wonderful sauces. The lamb chops were well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. I especially enjoyed the bed of sliced snow peas, green beans and English peas set over mint sauce. After all that, we had just enough room for shared desserts -- Budino and Tiramisu. Both were the perfect finish to a delicious meal. If you like chocolate, the Budino is for you -- rich but not overly sweet. Each yummy bite with the crumble topping was nicely balanced by the sprinkled salt. Service was impeccable and well-coordinated. We especially appreciated that dishes and utensils were changed after each course. A couple things to keep in mind: *Reservations - Via Resy. The reservation window is open 14 days at a time. *Parking - Valet is right in front. We found street parking just around the corner on Sunset (metered but free after 7pm). *Price Point - Approximately $100 per person. Mother Wolf is a cashless establishment. A 5% wellness fee is added to all checks. We will absolutely be back!
