I have been bringing my Lexus here for scheduled service this past year. Wes (the service manager) and whole team at Asian Imports Plus are professional, nice, honest and thorough. Their pricing is fair and they are very reliable. They even have a rewards program so you get award certificates for every dollar spent to use towards your next car service or repair. Communication is super easy. I contacted Asian Imports Plus through text last week to see if I can bring in my car for a weird noise every time I accelerated or stop. My husband and I weren't sure if it was from getting my car repaired a few weeks prior from this shop. They were very accommodating and told me to bring in my car last Friday. It turned out to be that my brake pad was worn down to a certain limit and needed a few hours to repair. Then I got a call that one of the bolts broke during the repair and needed to be replaced as well. Because it was a Friday (and they're closed on the weekends), it had to be done on Monday. They explained to me they wanted to make sure everything was completed right and safe for me and my family. As promised, my car was ready Monday for pick up. My car runs smoothly with no issues now. I noticed some oil underneath my truck the other day, so I brought it in to get checked out here since the last place that worked on my truck was Asian Imports Plus. Come to think of it, for the last 6+ years it's always been Asian Imports Plus that works on my truck except for a headlight bulb change at a buddy's shop in the Bay Area. Anyway, after about an hour, I got a call and I'm told that it turns out someone left an oil canister under the hood and whatever oil remaining in the canister is what made the mess under my truck. Totally unprofessional, but I'm not upset about that since it's more of a relief to me that it's not actually something that requires major attention and money. What does bother me though is that the last time I took my truck in was just for an oil change, but about one month later I come in for a little check up on a potential oil leak, but suddenly I'm told that there's a loooong list of maintenance and repairs that would total around $4500. I'm used to just being told what needs attention. Not upsells. This isn't typical of Asian Imports Plus. What I think the difference is from a month ago is: instead of seeing the usual guy up at the front, Erwin, there was a new guy. Long time customers that frequent Asian Imports Plus MUST know who I'm talkin about. You can't forget him. Hella cool filipino dude who is always there and on top of his work. Don't get me wrong new dude is cool and I have no problems with him at all. I'm sure he's just doing what he was trained to do. Both are very knowledgeable and helpful, and I'd totally shoot the breeze and have a beer or two with them. Just your typical laid back dudes, but I feel like Erwin was just more honest and told me what I really needed to have done which saved me money. Never not once during my 6+ years of going to Asian Imports Plus did I ever question what was being diagnosed and charged. This is the reason why I have been such a loyal customer to Asian Imports Plus in the first place. Honesty brings loyalty. Btw, I was told that Erwin "decided to leave," but I'm also told that he "got let go" from another source. Kind of suspicious. Possibly to bring in new blood that was trained to charge customers 3 times what the dealer charges plus labor. Yikes. I work too hard to get played. Just a fair warning to anyone looking to get some work done here. Another btw, I went to another shop in the same day for a second opinion and the diagnosis didn't completely match what was diagnosed earlier that morning. Asian Imports Plus actually overlooked TWO issues: my front brake pads need attention and also my driveshaft support bearing is worn down which I think is the most important thing on the list to be replaced. Both did agree on my power steering return line needing attention and also my CV boots are beginning to crack a little along with other maintenance like engine air filter and differential fluid. I needed an out-of-state pre-purchase inspection on a used car and didn't know where to go. So, I looked on Google and saw Asian Imports had a great rating. Therefore, I called and talked to Wes (Service Manager). He is unbelievable! Every time I called or texted him, he responded immediately and answered my questions. They said they didn't find the issue the other shop told me about, which I was suspicious of anyway and glad I didn't opt to get it done without asking someone else first. Super friendly and efficient service overall with no nonsense. The price was on par with what I'd expect to pay pretty much anywhere. It was easy to get an appointment within a few days of when I needed it. I am very happy with the service we received. I was on a road trip driving through Vegas when we experienced car trouble. I had the vehicle towed to two different mechanic shops before this one. After they have your car, they'll take pictures and document anything that shows concern, you'll get another link via text with everything they looked at. SIKE!! -1000 stars Don't bring your vehicle here to get anything done... I brought my truck here in Feb of this year to get a wheel bearing done which costed me $1500. Brought it in 5 TIMES since then because there was a leak where they installed the right wheel bearing. From Feb to Aug been dealing with them "fixing my truck" they changed the wheel bearing and seals twice and kept telling me it's the seals that might be defective which there is no way all the seals they changed from Toyota were defective. Last time I took my truck in , Aug 19th for an "Inspection" front desk dude told me my axle is bent and they will need to replace it and it's going to be ANOTHER $1500 and I called bs and took my truck back that day. I called him up to ask what part was needed because I know he was gonna say some bs. He gave me a part number for a axle assembly which he lied and said would fit my truck, forgot to add I was also at Toyota dealership looking for the same exact part while on the phone with him, which wouldn't fit my truck because they don't make an axle assembly for my truck it's separate and you have to press in the bearing yourself.. doesn't come all together. Never heard from him since Aug 19 when he said he will give me a call back to set things up. So I took it upon myself to figure out the problem "certified mechanics" couldn't .Showed my axle to a different shop, Turns out they pressed the bearing, Abs gear ring and everything in too far to the point the axle would leak and they didn't put in the locking C clip which is very dangerous. Thanks Erwin and his crew for getting me in and out!! My AC wasn't blowing as cold on my 2004 Tacoma, so I brought it in. I had to leave it overnight but I was ok with that. Erwin recommended I needed a new AC condenser/ Fan Clutch and AC receiver drier. I asked if it was possible to get OEM parts and he got on the phone right away and ordered the parts I needed. Not only they fixed my AC "blowing ice cold again" I had coolant leaking from my upper radiator hose and they cleaned it up and tighten it for FREE!! Yup no charge! We finally took the car into Asian Import Plus we're they found a plethora of issues. Screws loose, hoses not tighten, this the reason I had radiator fluid all over my engine. Great service. Went in for an inspection and they gave me a very detailed report. Most people are shocked when they ask for quotes and see high prices for the parts. Many times the shops only use OEM products for reliability and warranty which are expensive. No surprises on my end. The great thing I really liked was that they sent me an itemized list with images and descriptions to my phone that I could view online. I can approve or decline each itemized recommended issue they found. For example, if the inspection said I had 3 recommended issues that need to be addressed: 1. Oil and filter change. 2. Cabin Air Filter. 3 Cooling System Service. I can approve #1 and decline #2,#3. Whether you think the parts and labor pricing is fair is subjective, but the choice to approve and decline online is great. Drove home and noticed there was a vibrating noise coming from the cabin blower. Took the car back and they said a leaf fell in the blower during the inspection. They took care of it super fast and was on my way. Dealt with Erwin the whole time and he was great. Straight forward and honest. read more

Where to begin? So I tried to be an at home mechanic with a simple task. That task turned out to not be so simple. Halfway through reassembly we found two bolts sheared off into the walls of the head. I stopped and had the car towed to this shop so they could try to get the bolts out. They called one day later and even if they were to remove the engine from the car, they would not be able to get the bolts out. I asked how much to take the head out and send to machine shop then full reassembly. I was met with more questions and statements of call when you have all the parts and gaskets and we will be glad to put it back together. I had the car towed back home. I went to the store and bought more tools for bolt extraction and did the work myself. the car is now running and all put back together. When a customer is asking for how much to do the work, you should probably give them some numbers (even if its only a rough estimate). I took my business back home and saved easily over $2500 in labor charges. Thanks for showing me the way and ignoring the customers request for numbers. I would have paid the money to have the work done either way. This way I got to learn more about the car in question and saved money. read more
