Meh, with all the good reviews I was excited to try this place. It's clean and everyone was nice. My issue is the food. I ordered the Italian Roast Beef Panini, it was so bland. The beef had the texture and bland taste of frozen tub of beef you get at a store. The beef was also very tough. If you're gonna charge 10.49 for a sandwich I expect it to be good. Not that I would want to eat more of that cheap beef they try to pass off, but the sandwich was very skimpy on all ingredients. I will not come back and waste my money on subpar sandwich. read more

Ally's is awesome! To Paul W.'s comment, I think the cat is out of the bag here. When we stopped in at noon, they were jam packed, and it's easy to understand why. For being so busy, the service was quick and the staff was friendly, taking the time to answer our questions so pleasantly when there was still a line behind us of people needing to order. The atmosphere is clean, bright, and spacious. Even though it's a fairly small location, they use their space well, and it did not feel cramped. The food itself was really great. Their menu has a little bit of everything, so there is no doubt anyone could find something to enjoy. For me this time, it was the roast beef wrap with kettle chips, and it was a wonderful (if slightly messy) meal. I wish Ally's all the best and am glad to see them being so busy and successful! read more

One of my family members suffers from celiac disease, so when they're in the area, it's always a challenge to find a place to meet up for a meal. This evening, we went to Ally's Bistro for the first time, and we had a very pleasant experience. While ordering at the counter, the young girl taking the order asked if the gluten-free meal we ordered was for someone with celiac disease. After we sat down, the chef came out and discussed with our table how the gluten-free pizza was going to be prepared, just in case there would be any issues. She also gave options as to different meals that would not be cooked in the same oven as other foods that contain gluten. The chef was very reassuring, and made my family member feel as though she could relax and enjoy her meal without worrying if she'd be sick, later. We were all very impressed that the team from Ally's went that far above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction with the meal. We rarely get that kind of service at 5-star restaurants. As for my meal, I had the cuban wrap, which was quite tasty. My wife had the BLT wrap, which she also enjoyed very much and asked that we come back another time. They also had a nice selection of craft beers and different wines. We'll definitely be back. read more

Admittedly, I've never sat down to eat here, but I order platters for work from here often. They are awesome, accommodating, forgiving, helpful, reasonably priced (the food, not the people) and......the food tastes really good. I'm not sure why, but when I finally bit into my first warm grilled vegetable Panini, I was surprised. Normally, my husband and I like to exchange a bite of each others dish, but in this instance, there was no time. All I could do was focus on the texture and flavor of the grilled vegetable Panini. So good. So so good. I didn't get to taste the FIre Pit wrap that my husband had, because it seemed to disappear quite quickly as well...I assume he enjoyed it. It's almost a gem in Menomonee Falls, and people know about it. If you walk in most days at 11:30ish, as I have on occasion, expect to find a line of 15 people waiting to order. Worth the wait, but just beware. Lunch or dinner for 2 (with freshly baked cookies) will run you around $20. Also, totally worth it. read more

A Fan i am, I was turned onto Ally's by their weekly car show they have in the summer time. I typically go once a month to their car shows but hardly ever on a normal day or night, but the food is excellent and priced pretty fair for what you get, I normally get a wrap or a sandwich the pizza's look pretty good. I tried the Strawberry Breeze smoothie and that was awesome. I highly reccomend trying this place out. read more

This is my company's main catering outfit. Having eaten their food about a dozen times i can say that the consistency is definitely there and I am never dissapointed. They have very good wraps with fresh ingredients and good varity. My only issue is the tortilla chips and salsa. Pretty positive the salsa is tostitos and the chips are only decent. This has become one of my picks for lunch mainly because of their vegetarian options. Ally's food is fresh, flavorful, and fast! Their Team is very knowledgeable, warm & friendly. Be prepared though, others have also found this little gem, and you may find yourself waiting in a line out the door during the lunch hours. Ally's Bistro also does groups! They have a back room they will reserve, but they can also set up a reserved table in the dining room, or outdoor patio! We had a department lunch this afternoon of 15 people, and everything came out steady. Michelle took wonderful care of us. I will have to try them for catering soon. I've been here at least 5 times and every time I go I have something amazingly delicious. Never had a bad meal and there's so much on the menu I can get something new every time. On Friday they have live music and sit down service where a waiter serves you at a table. The outside patio is very nice with the new cushioned seating. Really good food, the employees were super friendly. I had the wrap and my friend had the salmon. We also got the mint, jalapeño mojitos. The atmosphere is kind of like a fast food place because you sit wherever and go up to the counter to order your food. There is a small portion of the restaurant that serve alcohol and is more like a bar. They're separated but we were able to order drinks with our food. Ate here twice recently. What the owner originally wanted, to have a kitchen to prepare grander entrees, never happened (see first review). However, the current fare of pizzas, panninis, salads, soups, sandwiches and wraps is both popular with locals and tastefuly prepared. There is a lot of variety in the items mentioned, and Wisconsin craft beers and sodas accent the trendy themes as do daily unusual desserts. Good eats here. Decent selection for vegetarians if you ask for no meat. Lots of flavor without the food being overly rich and heavy. Portions are American sized so for those that try to eat healthy you may want to ask for smaller portions. Had an egg sandwich on a bagel. There was about 3 inches between the top and bottom of the bagel and eggs spilled out by at least half inch. It looked great and tasted just as it looked. But way too much for an everyday meal. The veggie sandwich was oh so good. Veg was cooked perfect. Nice amount of cheese and spices. Will definitely be getting more of those. Staff is warm and friendly. It looks like there having fun in the back outside of the lunch crush. When its all hands on deck. Its the sort of place I like to go and get to know everyone. Breakfast at Ally's-what a treat! Visiting from out-of-town, we decided that chain restaurants were just not for us. Luckily, we found Ally's Bistro. The Southwest Wrap is a tantalizing combination of black beans, cheeses, salsa, red onions, ham, and eggs, all bundled up in a cheddar-jalapeño wrap. The coffee selection offers a range of options in strength and flavor, and the staff is top-notch. Amazing taste, amazing service, and amazing price. Fantastic food. Fantastic service. Fantastic atmosphere. Not the most ideal location...it is next to a housing edition and a bank. But it's a gem. I had the Chicken Caesar wrap. Perfect ratio of grilled chicken-lettuce-tomato-dressing. All in a garlic wrap. The craft beer selection is most excellent. They have a variety of chai tea, espresso, coffee, and hot chocolate options which I did not have a chance to try. There's free wifi. They also have salads, smoothies, pizzas, sandwiches, and paninis. Makes me wish I lived in Milwaukee so I could get a taste of everything. Great option for lunch or dinner during the summer with an outdoor seating area. The Bad: I didn't find their menu or food as nutritious and delicious as I expected based on reading previous reviews. Their wraps seemed on the small side. And the chips were NOT tri-colored. If you're going for the first time I recommend my personal favorite.. Chicken Capri Panini. If not that, then The Number 4. But if I'm being honest you can't go wrong. The bar is one of the best places in town to grab a drink. The bartenders make tasty drinks and are knowledgeable of all the beers on tap. On day I ordered a Gin and Tonic (delicious). The following week I went back and was going to get another and before I could order it the bartender says, "another Gin and Tonic sir?" Now you have to understand that he probably saw hundreds of people within that week ordering different drinks.
