This was my first time here. The customer service was outstanding. There was two very young respectable women who were just the nicest. Hannah and Arianna provided me with my meal and beverage. Allys bistro is great. They have a variety of different types and kinds of foods like sandwiches, wraps, soups, etc. Prices are very affordable. You can spend $8 for a meal at McDonalds or $9 for a great sandwich. read more

I eat at Ally's several times a week for both breakfast and lunch. Great service, great atmosphere and awesome food. From made to order omelets and Victor Allen's coffee in the morning, to salads, fresh made soups, sandwiches, wraps and artisan pizzas. For lunch my favorites are probably the pulled pork on Thursday, the Club and the roast beef wrap or sandwich. I saw that they will be expanding hours soon and offering dinner options such as stir fry, pasta and fish. Can't wait! read more

One of my favorite lunch places near the Falls. Super friendly staff and good food made fresh. I've had wraps, panninis, and pizzas, and have never been disappointed. Desserts are really good, even if it's just for a cookie (try the peanut butter....!) Sitting on the patio is really nice when the weather cooperates. What a find in Menomonee Falls. Tried it for breakfast and was very pleased. They serve Victor Allen coffee, in huge coffee mugs ($1.89 refillable). The food was made to order and delicious. All fresh ingredients. I ordered the breakfast panini for $6.99 and it came with potatoes or fresh fruit. The side dish of fruit was very generous, it included pineapple, green grapes, fresh bluberries, watermelon, orange slices. The folks running it are very friendly. Plan to go back for lunch or dinner. They offer soups, salads, panini, pizza, wraps, and sandwiches. Also, nice decor inside with outdoor seating. What more can you ask for? I believe this will become my "go- to- place" for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. read more

This is a nice restaurant and everything about it seems nice, but the preparation of the food was a little disappointing for the price. I'll preface this by saying I arrived on a very busy Saturday when the place was packed and the kitchen was clearly working very hard and fast. The smoothie I ordered was delicious and very big for the price. Unfortunately the salad I ordered was very disappointing. I ordered the Mediterranean chop, which is a vegetarian salad, but asked them to hold the feta cheese. The salad showed up with what appeared to be a half cooked chicken chunk on top. That was enough to gross me out but It was easy to remove it and continue on. Only problem was there were little bits of feta or other cheese scattered throughout, or stuck to parts of the salad. As if the whole thing had already been pre-made and they just picked out the feta for my order. Overall very disappointing for the price and the popularity of the place. I can excuse it as they were very busy, but I'd expect better from a place like this. read more

Ally's is a great place to eat! We have been going there about once a week since they opened. There food is great and is freshly made! Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is relaxed. Our favorites include the Farmer's Alfredo Pizza, Cobb Wrap, and Grilled Cheese with Tomato on Marble Rye with a bowl of Roasted Red Pepper with Gouda soup! My only suggestion to make Ally's even better, would be to offer a daily or weekly special (sandwich, wrap, or pizza) that is something not offered one the everyday menu! read more

My first review, for a WELL deserved establishment. I haven't been here in years, since it has been under new ownership. I was craving a wrap and remembered this place close to my job. First thing you notice upon walking in, is the awesome ambiance. *gold star #1*. The uber friendly associates, but not in the fake friendly kind of way *gold star #2*. I even met the owner, who was sweet as pumpkin pie. And the grand finally.... THE FOOD!!! 10 gold stars!!! It was so good, that I've been back three times in one week! The mushroom bisque is to die for! They have combo meals with sandwiches, paninis, wraps, soup, salad, etc; and daily fresh baked desserts. It's a better Panera. Also they beer & wine. And Fridays they have Live Jazz. In conclusion, if you exude awesomeness like me, and want to hang around in places that do the same, go here, and thank me later :) read more

I thought that I would give this restaurant a try as i had never heard of it before. Upon calling for directions, I found out that it is located adjacent to Trysting Place Pub at Good Hope Rd. and Appleton Avenue. The parking lot was somewhat full and restaurant had an average amount of people inside. From first looks, I thought that this might be an OK place. That was until I had to stand at the counter to have a younger employee tell me how their food ordering and delivery system works (as I had never been here before). Upon ordering and paying, we sat down and waited for the food to come out. While drinking one of their craft cocktails, it tasted odd, so I decided not to finish it. Normally I would have sent it back, but the staff seemed too disinterested to care. When the Blanco Pollo came out, it was just bland. Lots of food with no real seasoning to it. There seemed to be no real energy to this place. That is too bad, as I had come here on a Wednesday night and wanted to have a nice break from the mid week blues on a rather blustery late April day. All in all, I would not go back here as the food was so-so, the service was indifferent and the atmosphere was average at best. read more

Ally's Bistro has 3 things going for them; their location (barren of any other restaurants), their food (scrumptious), and their owners Rod and Michelle, (we are not personal friends but have come to know them from their friendly and unassuming manner). You can always count on a terrific meal, always. What I love most are Rod's soups and their fresh salads. They hand cut their greens and wash them. In an era where horrible things lurk in bagged greens, I really appreciate this extra step. I have taken many friends to Ally's for lunch and I am always confident that they will enjoy their meal. I have been known to eat there a few times a week. I adore the Friday evening freshly prepared entrees from the chef as well as the jazz musicians that play. Friday at Ally's has become special for my husband and myself. Nice wine selection and craft beer. The service is always accommodating, I can't say enough about the friendly manner at the counter and the hostesses. Quite a gem! read more
