Let me start off by saying that this was my favorite Brazilian Rodizio that I've been to many times since they've been open. It has been consistent for the most part in terms of their food selection, but this time they did not offer Fraldinha or Alcatra anymore on their Dine Out Boston menu. Their cold/hot food bar is better than Fogo's selection by far. It seemed there were more limited meats that came by especially since we were seated close to the entrance of the restaurant despite my card being green the whole time. I would expect everything on the limited menu to show up at least once and the wait time for specific cuts of meat took way too long even with requesting a cut from the staff. Somehow the cheese with honey never shows up either. I went during weekday lunch and the restaurant was semi-busy in the front half of the place up until the end of my visit in which there were only a few tables left and I still didn't get any additional Picanha. They came around with the cheaper alternatives more often. The meats I was served were seasoned well, but the variation in temperature for cuts I got were somewhat off putting despite requesting medium rare each time. There were some perfect temps to start off, but half the time they cut me thin slices of well done meat. That was my table's experience this time around unfortunately. I'd come back again since I've had many better experiences here over the years and I hope this was a fluke and not the fact that it has gone downhill.

A good Brazilian place with Rodizio that will make you gain many pounds. Went there for a bday celebration and they gave the bday girl a free wonderful dessert!!

My friend and I stopped by for restaurant week and I am so glad we did. Absolutely phenomenal service. Everyone was incredibly attentative throughout our evening dining. The servers go as far as pulling out your chair for you (gasp). We were explained the ordering process and got started with cheese bread and yucca rolls , which were delicious. I got the Brazilian lemonade (free refills on that too, whhattt!). I will never pass on a Brazilian lemonade haha, it was so tasty and refreshing. The salad bar was FRESH. Everything was up to bar and quality was not compromised for quantity. Each cut of meat that was served was delicious. I have been to manyy Brazilian BBQ spots and have not always found that the meats taste this good. Even usually things I don't care for, like the bacon wrapped chicken for example, blew me out of the park. Dessert was delicious but by that point I only had a few bites left in me haha. Ambiance is beautiful, great spot to celebrate a special evening or just enjoy some good eats casually. Would recommend as a good date spot or birthday. Wonderful experience, so happy to have found this gem

Great food!! Everything was so flavorful and not dry. The dish that surprised me the most was the shrimp and pumpkin soup, which was delicious!!! The drinks are so strong, and I don't drink. My only gripe is the wait time, even with a reservation, and at certain times there isn't a large selection of meat available. Otherwise, best Brazilian steakhouse in Boston!!!

Laying over at the Aloft Boston Seaport and wanted a quick takeaway meal. Alma Gaúcha Prime Brazilian Steakhouse is easy to get to through the hotel lobby - since I ordered takeout, I can't speak on the full dine-in experience, just the food. I got the Chicken & Picanha combo with rice and black beans. Other side choices included Caesar salad or Garlic Mashed Potatoes. The rice and beans were actually really good, and they give you two solid portions, which I appreciated. The meat, though... not my favorite. I love chicken thighs for how juicy they normally are, but these were a bit dry and shriveled. And my steak, which I asked for medium, came out more on the well-done side. It was a little disappointing - I was really expecting that tender, juicy Brazilian-steakhouse moment..

Stopped by for a quick late lunch at the bar and was immediately happy with two kinds of Brazilian bread. One was cheesy and the other was made with yuca, and both were delicious. The waiter was very pleasant. There was a little mix-up with our order. The chicken Caesar salad didn't come out on time, so we thought about canceling it. We also ordered a beef appetizer. My boyfriend loved it and ate it all, but I wasn't a fan because the meat was cold. I asked if it was supposed to be cold, and they immediately comped it and offered to bring a fresh batch. We said it was fine. The chicken Caesar salad eventually arrived and was really good. The chicken had a nice twist in the seasoning, and it would have been amazing in a wrap. The wait was a bit long, but the food was solid overall. Despite the small hiccups, I would definitely come back for a full meal.

The atmosphere is amazing, the lighting wasn't overly bright. The tables were spaced nicely. I got the lychee martini and that was really tasty. The first cut of meat came out quicker than I expected it to. And all of it tasted great. The servers were really nice and the service was great. 10/10 worth the price. We got the chocolate molten cake for dessert and it was amazing. It was my birthday and the servers came out with the dessert with a candle in it and sand and clapped. I would definitely recommend and go again.

I was quite underwhelmed with the quality of the meat. Almost all of the portions we received were overcooked. The salad bar was amazing though. I did notice that the batch of meat that came out as we were finishing up was A LOT better than the ones we received so I attributed our overcooked meal to timing. We ate around 4:45 pm, which must've been the end of their early afternoon rush. It was definitely heart wrenching to see everyone get perfect medium rare cuts after we just ate some well done meat.

    Key lime pie??
    Raquel D.

Key lime pie?? Hard pass. This was some sort of old cheesecake with a nasty congealed sauce that tasted like apple pucker, totally high school cafeteria vibes. In addition to this we arrive when the place was very much still open (according to posted hours) and got a lot of attitude from a bartender who clearly just wanted to go home. Save yourself the time and likely food poisoning

There was a short wait since they bake the cheesecakes fresh in batches, but it moved pretty quickly. The Original Japanese Cheesecake was warm, soft, and definitely lived up to its signature "jiggle." It's very different from a traditional cheesecake--much lighter, fluffier, and less sweet, almost like a cross between a soufflé and a sponge cake. If you're expecting a rich New York-style cheesecake, this isn't that. Personally, I enjoyed how light it was, and it didn't leave me feeling overly full. The staff was friendly, and the shop was clean and well organized. My only suggestion would be to have a few more seating options since it's mostly grab-and-go. Overall, it's worth checking out if you're in downtown Boston or curious about Japanese-style cheesecake. I'd come back again and would like to try some of their other pastries next time.

I decided to keep it rather than return, as going back to Chinatown wasn't convenient at the time. The cheesecake itself was also disappointing in texture and freshness--it felt quite soggy and not as fresh as expected. Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations, and I don't think I would return.

Once I made my decision from their extensive list of options and combinations, it took me maybe 2 minutes from start to finish to build and submit my order. My only thing was that it was so busy and loud that the staff were unable to continuously call out when orders were complete, or you couldn't hear them. I eventually went up to the bar, noticed my drink had been sitting a few minutes, yelled over, "This is mine, thanks!!" Smiled, and then grabbed it. Beyond that?
